I usually don't take the time to write out reviews but this place is awesome !!!!! Not only was Sensei Josh and sensei Tony helpful in reaching my fitness goals, they also helped my kids get physically active . Covid has gotten in the way of my family's physical health but with the online zoom classes held Monday to Friday we're on the right path . Thank you Combined Martial Science for all ur help !!

My son attends their little champs class and he loves it. He looks forward to going to the gym every time. I can tell all the kids loves going here as well. Sensei Emory is the perfect instructor for the kids. He may be called the 'Dojo Pitbull' but he is a gentle and kind. He has the patience of a saint when it comes to these kids and always encouraging. The Dojo is clean, no sweaty smells at all . The owner, Sensei Josh is very approachable and very easy to work with. The price is reasonable. I can see the changes with my sons agility and strength and I'm pretty sure we'll be here for years to come.

Parents if you're thinking of putting your kids (3-8) into a MMA class, I recommend this place. The sensei is humble and good with kids. My 3yo daughter loves this place. They also offer a bootcamp for parents while the kids are learning MMA.

Combined Martial Science changed my life. They have given me such confidence, strength, physical and mental strength....I can't say enough. At the age of 50, I am in better shape than ever. I grapple, kick box and lift weights with students younger and older than myself. It's a true family here, and I highly recommend it to professional fighters and novices.

Glad to be a part of this team trophy we earned at the NAGA tournament in San Diego 2017

I've been training in Martial Arts on and off since 1999...I've been to a number of Dojos, however CMS is my favorite...everyone there is so warm and welcoming....What I love the most is that it is very family oriented which allows me to train at the same time my wife and kids are....There is plenty of mat space, heavy bags, and weights....Once we signed up at CMS we canceled our membership at our traditional gym since CMS has everything you need to workout....If you are looking for a great place to train this is the pace...

This place is the best place in California to get fit!!!!! It's 100 times better than a regular Gym!! I started taking my 4 year old to Little Champs and I love how the instructors are with the kids. They make learning the moves fun and they are stern when the kids get out of control. After a while I looked into their adult classes and went to check it out. I was hooked!!!!!! Sensei Toni and Catherine know what they are doing. They do NOT fool around when it comes to working out. Their exercises are intense and fun. It is never boring. I saw results 2 weeks after I signed up. Basically you have a personal trainer everyday working with you! They include a diet plan and answer any questions you have about food, vitamins, prior injuries anything that concerns you. I have met some cool people there. Everyone there is kind and friendly. The first time I went Sabrina was so good to me. She kept motivating me, telling me I was doing good and that I could do it! It is nothing like a traditional gym where it's a competition to see who is fitter or who has the biggest muscles. This place is like working out with your best friend who is a personal trainer. I can't recommend this place enough! I am a mother of two and they allow me to bring my kids (as long as they stay out of harms way) once in a while. I love this place come check it out for yourself! It is totally worth it and the fee is not expensive for what you get! They are amazing people and you should call and join immediately!!!!!!!!

A Great Experience for Absolute Beginners…read more As someone with absolutely no experience in martial arts, I was initially very nervous about joining, but my experience has been fantastic! I've taken five fundamental classes so far: 4 MMA classes 1 Jiu-Jitsu class 1 Kickboxing Cardio class Why I Recommend It: Well-Organized Curriculum The curriculum is structured in a way that's perfect for beginners. Each class builds on the basics, making it easy to follow along and feel confident even if you've never stepped foot in a martial arts gym before. Supportive Coaches The coaches are incredibly skilled at teaching newcomers. They break things down clearly and provide personal attention to make sure everyone is comfortable. It's clear that they're passionate about helping people learn, regardless of experience level. Friendly & Welcoming Environment From the coaches to the other students, the gym creates a warm and supportive atmosphere. Everyone is kind and encouraging, which made it easy for me to feel at ease and motivated. Concerns Before Joining & How They Were Addressed: No Experience & Adapting to the New Environment I was nervous about fitting in, but the well-organized curriculum and the coaches' experience with beginners helped me adjust quickly. The environment is friendly, and everyone is willing to help out! Concerns About Smells As someone who's sensitive to smells, I was a little worried about the cleanliness of the gym. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that they clean thoroughly between classes, so there's no need to worry about unpleasant odors. There are two locations: the main HQ in Rancho Cucamonga, and Chino (which is where I trained). Instructors are very supportive, knowledgeable, and patient with all students willing to learn and put in the work. I originally joined with an intent of doing both striking and BJJ, but after just 3 months, I fell in love with BJJ that I decided to train BJJ exclusively. Training partners are also very supportive and contribute to the gym's strong and positive culture. I only left because I found a different gym that is closer to where I live with class times that work better with my schedule, but still cannot recommend this place enough. I'm really amazed at how much I learned in the 10 months or so that I was with the gym. Your first class is free, give it a try!

5 weeks ago, I decided on a whim to join a Muay Thai gym. I have had an interest in MT for some…read moretime, but my martial arts experience was limited to about 3 years of Taekwondo from ages about 9-11 or so. There was lots of weekly sparring and I even competed in a tournament. That said, it was a very daunting task to mentally accept that I would effectively be starting from zero, or close to zero, as an adult. After searching around, I decided to contact a few gyms online. The only one that responded was Supreme Striking Martial Arts. My main priority was finding a gym local to me and this was it. Reviews seemed good, so I decided to try out a Muay Thai class at 7pm a few days later after being in contact with the Coach. I showed up and was immediately greeted by Coach Rob, a professional championship-winning Boxer and Muay Thai practictioner, and the assistant coach Kris. Good start, because I was nervous as hell. After signing waivers, Coach Rob had me go stretch with everyone else. Fortunately, I know how to stretch and have done other types of sports/ sport training. Once the class started, I was thrown on the grill, so to speak, just like everyone else. There was no separation because I was a beginner. I was in it with everyone else, which was simultaneously nervewracking but also pretty cool. It instills a sort of "learn as you go" dynamic. Coach Rob would give instruction and everyone would follow. I would look around and try to mimic the others. Coach Rob would come around and give everyone pointers. He also has no problem repeating the instructions or showing us again if we ask. After my first training, I was dead. But yet, I felt so alive. It triggered something inside of my mind. "I get now", I said to myself. I now get why people are so crazy about martial arts. Not only is it a physical battle, but a mental one as well. Your main rival is actually not the person in front of you, but the person in the mirror, yourself. At the end of the first training, Coach convinced me to do Boxing as well. I am now in my 3rd week here. I've been doing about 2x Muay Thai and 1x Boxing per week. I am also now doing home Shadow Boxing/light training + stretching and some cardio either on the road or the treadmill to supplement what I am learning. During my training, I have had flashbacks of when I was a child training and sparring in Taekwondo. Good feelings, to be clear. After 3 weeks, I can say that Coach Rob and his Assistant Kris are very down to earth, approachable, humble people. I get the sense that Coach Rob is very grateful and appreciative of each one of his students. He is genuinely happy to be there and happy to teach. Kris is also good at running the trainings if Coach Rob isnt there and he is very helpful as well. Also, I like the vibe of the gym. The people who train there are also generally cool and very helpful to me as a beginner. I have also learned a lot from them. Egos are checked at the door. It is not a large gym, but the people who train there consistently are generally always there and everyone takes the training seriously, even if there are moments of laughter. I think it is important to "feel a part of" a place like this and I certainly do. There is good comraderie. They welcomed me , an adult beginner, to their team. Now I can say I am apart of the Supreme Striking Team, the people who I train with are my Teammates, and Rob is my Coach and Teacher. Eventually, as I get to know everyone better, these people will also become my friends. I am grateful to have found Supreme Striking Martial Arts.

But this is not a gym; it is a training facility where you work with trainers to tackle your physical goals. Next, this is about my trainer, Kevin Abandy. Kevin has been my trainer for exactly 8 weeks now and he is awesome! I made the decision to get a trainer after my birthday to truly invest in myself. You can invest in your own skills and education, but the return is almost always indirect. But with a trainer, specifically Kevin, I gained 8 lbs of muscle mass and lost 8% body fat (approx. 13-lbs of fat) after 8 weeks of training with him. Also, at the start of my training, I had back pain (from past injury to T12) and knee pains (from under the kneecap). Through Kevin's program and coaching, my pain has been reduced to near 0 with full mobility -- like squatting all the way down and up with 200-lbs of weight on my shoulders with no knee pain. I would give a 1-star review to keep it from getting crowded, but it would be hard for me to not tell others about the good that comes out of this place. My mom is 70 and she's training with Kevin too! And the story is the same for her... knee pains - GONE. Back pains - GONE. I've been working with Mia for almost 6 months now and have dropped about 5% in body fat and gained 7% in muscle mass. I would have never considered myself "overweight" but knew I needed to lose a few pounds. I've tried the traditional membership gyms but always found that I would lose interest or motivation. When I started inquiring about personal trainers, Mia was very prompt at answering. During our consultation I did a body fat scan and was shocked to find out that I was nearly 25%. We talked and I learned that it was less about the weight and more about body composition and fat/muscle percentages. Due to my work schedule we were able to meet twice a week for an hour a session. Mia adds good variety to our workouts and I definitively know that I push myself more during our sessions that I normally would have if I were doing the workouts by myself. She also places an emphasis on nutrition and offers advice on what to eat and what to stay away from. The last couple of years my diet has gotten progressively worse, and she's been a great help in getting me back on track. I've noticed that I've started making much healthier choices in the foods I eat. still have a ways to go but would highly recommend Mia for helping you get you to your goals!
