In the process of getting it repaired, I also learned that the owners at CPU are not interested in the Sandwich community or helping people...just making a buck anyway they can, no matter who gets hurt in the process. In the case of my mother: I brought her like-new 2-year old Sony laptop (which I had purchased for her and had used perfectly on a recent previous visit) simply to have a webcam installed. Sadly, the greedy owners at Computers & Performance Upgrades told me the laptop was badly infected with malicious viruses and needed a complete operating system reinstall--which was absolutely untrue (my mother seldom if ever goes online; she mostly plays local CD-based games like Solitaire). As I'm not that tech savvy (nor is my mother), she insisted on paying the eye-gouging bill herself for the wholly unnecessary procedure--something that was incredibly hard on a fixed retirement budget. I wonder how many other people like myself and my elderly mother have had their tech ignorance taken advantage of, and been sold unnecessary services, repairs and parts by Computers & Performance Upgrades in the past few years. It's clear from my dealings with them that they've been taking advantage of the uninformed and elderly for years--praying on ignorance, raping bank accounts and employing the worst in scare tactics...all to fleece their vulnerable & trusting customers.

Bummer because this is one incredible TV. Went back Day 6. Discussed the issue. They had me bring back the original and sent me home with a new one. Jeff and Chad were great in assessing the possible issue and, most importantly, what was the best path to get me the customer, back up and running in the quickest most efficient manner. Customer service. And True Techies. Now will Have them design a surround system to be built around a new 77" LG OLED I intend on buying at Nantucket Sound.

Mobile PC took my laptop on Monday and returned it one week later. Happy to report all issues were corrected and the laptop works perfectly after two weeks of use. Price charged was reasonable. The only reason I did not give Mobile PC 5 stars was their poor communication during the process. All phone calls came from me to get any updates. Very concerning as I have never done business with them before and thought they could be downloading sensitive data or other mischief. To better put your client's mind to ease, Mobile PC should reach out to their customers to give them frequent updates and timeframes on the repair. Simple customer service would make them excellent.

I am not from San Francisco, CA. I am from Cape Cod. Nothing was ever discussed about the…read more"Warranty". I also NEVER made harassing calls or emails to him. Am I trying to hold him accountable to our phone conversation? Absolutely. The response by Patrick, the Owner of On Call Computer Services is 100% False. Never have I harassed him or threatened him in any way. There were other people in the office who heard the entire conversation. There was one phone call to Patrick where we discussed the pick up and refund of the computers. Patrick stated he had to "find the money" to refund us. This call was on Monday, the 31 st of March 2025 this past week. We had an uncomfortable conversation, however, never did I threaten him or swear at him. He is clearly trying to push some sort of false narrative to now avoid doing what he agreed to do in our conversation. We also agree to talk later last week and when I never heard from him, I called the business line which went directly to voicemail without ringing. Then I tried his cell phone which did the same thing. I have received an email from Patrick, threatening me with a restringing order and the like. I've never been to his business and he is correct, we've never met. Although I did see him in the parking lot on Monday after he left the office. Let me state, I and the Controller for the company and while the responsibility of the purchase was on the General Manager, this has fallen in my lap and I'm trying to deal with it. I will not be bullied into Patrick's belief his is somehow the viticim. He built three computers for the company for a total of $5,200. Two of the computers currently do not work properly. There have been at least 4 attempts at repairing them to no avail. The third one is in another office in a different town and has never been turned on due to the issues we've had. Patrick blocked me because I'm trying to hold his company accountable. He has no money and is simply spreading lies. After the one phone call we had, I thought we had an understanding. Clearly, something changed and I will have to pursue through the proper legal channels. Everything is this review is 100% accurate with phone records and cancelled checks to prove! All he has to do is pick up the phone, like a man, and have a conversation.
