IF I COULD GIVE THIS A NEGATIVE NUMBER (HIGHEST POSSIBLE), I would. The most UNfriendly, UNaccessible internet service I am stuck with. I thought it was bad with OUTSOURCED customer service agents who you can't understand to NOW, no access to Instant Chat for problems/questions of your bill to NOT hiring US based customer service agent, I have finally reached my limit and I do hope there is a God that when these executives meet their maker, they don't go to purgatory but straight to H-E double hockey sticks! Worse based company to get any questions answered or any issues resolved. It took me 3 hang ups on the 800#, 4 unsuccessful tries and 40 minutes of my time to get a simle question answered. Moreover, my senior friend who is disabled signed up for internet assistance with regard to payment, she filled out two forms, said she was approved and they NEVER applied the discount and now they tell her she has to reapply...sort of the same treatment you get when you want some answers from Customer Service and I use theterm loosely. Having technical problems daily I tried to reach someone in customer service and kept getting recordings. Have been trying for days to get in touch with someone and have had no luck, just recordings. All it says to do is unplug the box, but gives no options for the possibility that there is no box to unplug! As I write this I have been on hold for an hour and 5 minutes! Comcast internet is by far the worst internet money can buy. Slow with wired connection and absolutely dreadful wifi connection! If you want to reset your modem at least once a day then I recommend comcast internet. If you want good internet then I recommend anybody but comcast! read more

My husband & I stopped by here to drop off a cable box and he was rudely told that we could not return it due to it not being from this location. When asked what number we could call to get help, the counter clerk stated "1-800-COMCAST." So all you can do here is make payments which you can do online. Unhelpful. read more

I placed an order for internet to be installed today, received a confirmation email, and yet was notified today "it wasn't in the system" and I would have to wait 3-5 business for it to populate in the system and THEN we could schedule a tech to install. How about no. Let me tell you what we're not going to do. We're not going to deal with this level of awful customer service like this. I will NEVER have Comcast again. I had them for a long time prior (because there was relatively no one else) and had to deal with this kind of nonsense and I refuse to do it again. I can't believe the awful customer service this business provides and somehow stays in business. I would love to give them zero stars for the rude people answering their phones and pushy sales calls to my cell phone at the dinner hour. Not to forget the service installation where they give you huge windows when they could come. I had to take two days off work to accommodate their installation which didn't come the day they said they would because they ran out of time. Just prepare to lose valuable work hours for installation. They throttle your internet speed then tell you to upgrade to the next fastest package. How about just give me what I pay for? Also, they won't let you cancel your services easily. They are incredibly adamant that they can make you stay, and they don't listen well. I went in to start up internet service and was helped by a member named Zane. Was in and out in 10 minutes and I was very impressed with how much effort that he put in to ensure I would have no issues once getting my modem home. The best customer service I have received in awhile. Comcast as a business, however is terrible at customer service. I was not expecting this branch to be any different. Comcast as an overall cable and internet provider has been horrendous to deal with. While exchanging a cable box is an easy transaction, the box should never suddenly stop working without warning, and a service call to the home should not be made for a task this simple. And for existing customers, trying to find the best plan and contract for you is very challenging. After a week of phone calls, internet chats, and two in person visits I was able to speak with Sean in Customer Solutions, and Maggie in Billing today. Both women were kind, and courteous, working diligently to help me find a plan for me. We were able to resolve my concerns after a 40 minute phone conversation. When I spoke with Maggie Rita, and Loletha early in the week I was treated with disrespect and unkindness. Lauren from Customer Retention provided me false information on March 3, 2018, thus causing the multiple calls and visits this week. Therefore, be careful when dealing with Comcast. You must be persistent and speak with multiple individuals before finally finding one individual that cares you are an actual human with needs. Considering you are a customer paying for Comcast services, and this comes with a large price tag, this needs to be resolved by 'Superiors' as Maggie Rita put it. read more

I am not happy with my service at all. My wife and i see a special online and call to order. The lady we speak with says it's 49.95 a month plus 10 dollar router fee and in home service visit for 75mbps and basic tv. We get our first bill. We are charged twice for our service visit. We get an extra billing charge of 10 dollars for Internet blast, which we were never told about. THE TV DOESN'T EVEN WORK! I spend 2 hours waiting on the phone and at least a week of trying to call to get through just to be told that without the Internet blast we will only be at 25 mbps. VERY MISLEADING. extremely unhappy with this provider. I wish we did not have to give up Charter Internet because for 45 dollars a month, AFTER TAX, we got 60 mbps and we're not forced to get tv along with it. COMCAST, YOU SUCK. read more

Comcast has done me wrong. Yesterday I had an appointment to have my cable and internet updated. The appointment was between 10 and 12. They didn't show. I called to complain and a representative gave me a ticket number and said the installer would call within 30 minutes. They didn't call. I called back and spent 30 minutes on the phone with a guy who sounded absolutely clueless that told me he would give me a new appointment at 2:40 and gave me an installation charge refund. Again, no call, no show. I called back and spoke to a third customer representative who told me she was on the line with a supervisor and dispatch trying to get an installer to my hoise immediatly and that either her or her supervisor would be calling me back for sure. They never called me back and no installer showed. I called back and spoke with a fourth representative who told me that the guy who promised me an installer at 2:40 was incorrect in giving me another appointment for the same day, and that he was supposed to make it for another day. He also told me that the girl who was claiming to talk to dispatch and her supervisor was lieing and that she could not herself contact these departments, that all she was able to do was make a ticket for them to read. He made a ticket for me for a supervisor to call me back within 24 hours to review my experience, and set me up with another appointment for the next day between 10 and 12. So here I am, day 2 of missing work. A faithful customer of 5 years, who pays 170 bucks a month to this company, and it's almost 12pm and I still have nobody here to update my service. read more

I have the extreme displeasure of using this poor excuse of a service. I pay for 150 dl 20 up. I get anywhere from 60-90 and 3-5 upload. I pay a premium for premium service. It had worked adequately for the last 5 months until 2 months ago. Then one day my perfectly fine internet still just getting a solid 80 back then dropped into oblivion and now its affecting my living. I have called the service center and they were very unconcerned with my problem and I had to contact them 5 5! TIMES to get them to send a service tech to my house. When he got here he thought I was just unable to open my email and said that he was unprepared to test my network speed... So he had to go get some things to test my connectivity. Even though I showed him my current speed and my speed history. He came back tested it. Told me there was nothing he could do other than I needed a new router. My current router which I just went out and bought after my internet dropped into the pit is registered at 1 gb. I also tried another just to see if I somehow got a defunct router and it didn't help my service at all. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE! GO GET A COMPETITOR! Pros: you can get people that have no idea what they are doing to help you with your service You get to pay extra "fees" every month Cons: CONCAST they push to get rid of net neutrality. Xfinity home is a joke. My alarm went off during the night. After 45 seconds they are supposed to call you. I let it go off for 15 mins till it shut itself off. I had to call 911 myself. The tech came out today and called the home security tech support and she said "oh my we dropped the ball on that one." She said they simply did not call. First, allow me to start with an issue that transpired on day one of my move. Before I relocated from out of state to Tennessee, I contacted Comcast Customer Support. Everything was pretty smooth at that point. I was told to simply bring the equipment with me to the new home, schedule connection date and time, and be there with someone over the age of 18. Wow! That is easy enough. Unfortunately, they did not tell me that I should not pay my bill. Comcast bills a month in advance. So, when my bill was paid, the money was tied up in another section of the company that the region I moved to had no access to. Long story short, it was about 3 months before the money was returned, sent to correct address, or placed on current bill, and to top all that off, I was told I was getting disconnected for non-payment. When, in fact, I had over paid Comcast by nearly $300, and they owed me money! Now, let us move on to the final straw that made my decision indefinite to leave this company and absolute, beside horrid customer service! In Knoxville, Comcast puts a limit on the amount of Internet a household is allowed to use. Once you've reached that limit, they decide to charge you a recurrent fee of $10 for additional Gigabyte usage. Imagine getting a bill in the mail for 100's, even 1000's of dollars, over your normal monthly bill because you used the Internet too much for Comcast's likings. I am not one that downloads a lot of files either. I simply stream Netflix, Amazon, and use PS4 functions. Yes, the PS4 downloads some large files occasionally, but as a customer who already pays an arm and a leg for service, I expect to be able to use it without being charged more. My wife and children stay home during the day. So, with Netflix running for my toddler, that sucks up the data. We are now 3 months into our overage, and we are facing the outrageous charges of going over the allotted amount of Internet Comcast says we can use. Mind you, we already pay nearly $200 a month, but apparently nothing will satisfy the greed of this massive corporation. I hope Comcast enjoys missing my $200 a month, not including overage fees. I will be giving it to a new company servicing the Knoxville area, WoW! They have no limitations and are nearly half the price of Comcast in every aspect, including cable TV. Goodbye Comcast! Keep doing what you're doing, and you'll find that bad business ethics will only cost you more money as your customers keep leaving you. read more

I had comcast internet service for a year or so in Knoxville, Tennessee. Everything was ok for awhile and then the service was awful. I was suppose to get "up to 25Mb" on my plan, The last four months I was lucky to get 1/2 a mb. and sometimes nothing at all. Multiple service call without help. The last straw was the last service call. Got a recording that the tech was at my home. I went out and saw him eating in his truck. I decided to give him a few minutes to eat. About 5 minutes later I went out and he was gone. I called customer service and talked to a customer service supervisor. I was rudely told that if I did not go out to met him they would leave. Something about the techs safety. I told him my neighborhood has houses ranging from 600k to 1 million dollars so I didn't think his safety was in danger. I immediately called AT&T. They promised 6Mb service for much less money. I accepted and they installed a few days later. I actually got 6.8Mb and it works much better than comcast. Good bye and good riddence to comcast. These morons deserve negative stars! How horrible they are -_- Every other bill they try and charge me for something I own (router, modem), items I have purchased to prevent the over priced billing that comes along with their service... They literally have NO INBOUND CALLS, so when you go to dispute your bill, they tell you its adjusted, and when you get home your box isn't working... Then you try to call them back and get a call center in India who has no way of connecting you to the supervisor you had met in person... I have been in the Comcast office 5x in 6 months because they just keep trying to over bill my account by as much as $154 in a single billing cycle! If I were in an area that would allow any other company for internet I would take this box down there and SMASH it on the floor! But they have a monopoly in the part of town, so until I am ready to move I have to deal with these criminals and uneducated fools every few weeks... And to top it off, they tell me I have fast internet that runs up to 12m, but I checked and its only pulling at 6.7m... Basically they are throttling our networks in order to save a few dollars... Today I went to pay my bill and they had a "system crash" so it took 2.5 hours for me to get through the line and then 45 min drive back home, and by the time I got home neither my cable or internet was working due to an error by the guy who was helping me... He did an address change because they were trying to charge me for 2 residences even though we only have one cable box, and instead of fixing it, he erased everything... Needless to say, I was FURIOUS!! I called customer support and of course some lady who could barely speak English picks up my call, then after about 20 minutes of her worthless talking and another 25 minutes on hold, I asked for a supervisor.. They took my phone number down to call me back and took almost 3 hours to call back, by that time I had already made the 45 minute drive back to Ashville Hwy location to give them a piece of my mind... on my day off I spent a totally of 6:35 minutes of my time to pay a f****** bill!!! screw these people I hope they go out of business read more
