The yams were awesome, the corn was overcooked and I am sure its because we got the food right before closing, the cabbage lacked salt and pepper, and the mac n cheese needed salt and pepper as well. Overall the meal was good just a few tweaks here or there and the sides would be bomb! My husband insisted that the brisket needed some smokiness and needed a little more seasoning as well. The employee called me an inappropriate name and threw my food toward my vehicle, causing it to fall on the ground. I went inside to address the situation and try to understand what happened, but instead of receiving an apology or having the issue handled professionally, the situation was dismissed. I contacted management hoping they would take the complaint seriously, but I felt my concerns were ignored and the employee's behavior was defended. The situation escalated to the point where the police were contacted, even though I never threatened anyone or acted aggressively. A customer should never be treated this way, regardless of the circumstances. I expected basic respect and professionalism, but unfortunately that was not my experience. I will not be returning and hope management takes this feedback seriously.
