Came to Chutneys and had such a great experience! The food was amazing and really tasted just like home. They had a live pani puri station which was such a fun touch--the pani puri was super fresh and flavorful. The benne karam dosa was made fresh, perfectly crispy, and loaded with flavor. The schezwan fried rice had just the right kick of spice and was really satisfying. We also got a mango lassi, which was refreshing and the perfect balance of sweet and creamy. Even though it was crowded, the staff handled the lines and service very smoothly, so everything felt organized and welcoming. Overall, such a great spot for authentic food and a lively atmosphere--can't wait to come back!

Tried Come to Chutneys in Cumming and absolutely loved it! The Rava Masala Dosa was perfectly crisp with a delicious potato filling, and the Benne Dosa was excellent too -- especially with the choice of 3 different chutneys. We also ordered the Gobi Manchurian, which was honestly one of the best we've had in the area. What impressed us even more was how quick the service was despite the restaurant being very busy on a Friday evening. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic South Indian dosas and flavorful food!

Amount of black peppers I have to take out from 1 vada after tolerating one vada with these in it.

The filter coffee is heavens. So good. Ask for strong coffee and add some extra sugar if needed. The best filter coffee I have tasted in a very very long time. Reminded me of Tamil Nadu filter coffee. But had a pretty bad experience with vada. It came with a 100 peppercorns. There are atleast 4 to 5 pepper corns in every bite. Next issue is chutney. They show pictures of items served in banana leafs, with 3 to 4 different kind of chutneys in it and priced the items accordingly. But what you get is a mediocre coconut chutney in a tiny cup with very oily, and sugary sambar that feels like they made it using some instant sambar mix. At least peanut chutney or ginger chutney needs to be given. Or at least 2 chutneys to be given. This is pathetic. Dont trust the pictures. Pictures promised a michellin star food but what I got was worse than carelessly made streetfood. Tried Rava dosa also. It was very thick and undigestable. I make rawa dosa at home and it is 100 times better. I wouldnt even their rawa dosa even if you pay me for it. People are friendly and ambiance is good. Wish the food is as good as what they advertized.

This place came highly recommended by my South Indian friends. We tried the Thatta idli (larger than usual idli) with ghee and a peanut crumble and the usual chutneys. My husband loved it. I had the Rava Dosa with potatoes and the chutneys, which was wonderful too. Oh yes, and the South Indian coffee. I'll say the place was clean, efficient and had a good pick up counter. The food was robust and flavorful. Ambiance was open, well lit and clean. Not disappointed.

I like the variety, not just the most common North Indian dishes! There's a huge selection of South Indian dishes here, which was a huge green flag for me. I came for the Desi pizzas, but was floored by the selection of snacks, curries, and desserts they offer. I'm truly impressed. The most important, the food always comes out HOT AND FRESH! You can tell they make their food to order here. And the other thing I want to note: are the prices. The prices here are FANTASTIC for the portions you get! I can't say enough good things. I'm so happy to have one of my favorite cuisines, of such high quality and price, so close by!! Thank you for making my food with care and love always :)

We got seated quickly with menus and decided to go with the masala order and two Mysore masala orders. The potato stuffing and chutneys were definitely on the spicier side but liked the sweetness of the ginger chutney to balance it out. The sambhar was also quite tasty. We also liked how fresh the potato stuffing and sambhar was and overall how filling the dish was. I definitely do want to come back and next time try their fusion pizzas which looked like a popular item!

We ordered a DC Chicken sandwich, Butter Chicken w/rice, Afghani Paneer, and Garlic Paneer. Service was very fast and courteous. The ambiance was busy but as you can see in the photos, it's a happy busy. I didn't select 5 stars because unfortunately there are no descriptions for the food items. If you're American it may be difficult if you are new to Indian cuisine. I definitely recommend!

There's plenty of free parking in the lots surrounding the building. I met an old friend here at his suggestion as I had been working nearby. This is a a smaller chain restaurant more reminiscent of the breakfast shops I saw while visiting India, with a focus on breakfast offerings (they serve up a whole menu but the feel to me is more like a breakfast place). It's fast casual so you order at the counter - the wall behind the counter has a fairly extensive menu of options. The interior is very clean if a bit utilitarian with hand-painted graphics on the walls. Continuing with the breakfast feel of the place, I ordered a Mysore style dosa and milk latte (Indian style so the milk is boiled in the tea). What came to the table was impressive and very authentic, also super filling. My friend Sid ordered a Masala dosa which also looked delicious. As mentioned service is fairly minimal but you are greeted with friendly faces willing to discuss the menu. I'll be returning for sure.
