I ordered a lamb gyro with a side of red roast pepper hummus. It was delicious. Fresh ingredients in the gyro. The hummus was very good. The supplied pita bread was just the right amount, and slightly warm when I opened my to go container. Have plenty of napkins as this gyro was stuffed with lamb, lettuce, onion and Taziki sauce. I'll be back, to enjoy this place. Hopefully, they can get their online ordering system corrected so the food is ready when the website says it will be and not 15 minutes after. Try this place out, if you like a gyro with fresh ingredients and I'll assume any of their Mediterranean offerings are as equally delicious.

The staff is incredibly nice and attentive. I sat at the bar with my musician friend's entourage. After perusing the menu and listening to recommendations, my eyes landed on one item: calamari. I am a very big fan of calamari, and I haven't had it for a long time. What could go wrong? Sadly, I'd rate the calamari a 2-stars out of 5. I considered sending it back multiple times and swapping to something like their legendary meatballs, but I genuinely hate sending food back unless it's genuinely bad. The calamari lacked the flavors I typically find at Italian restaurants. While I appreciate the light batter and lighter frying from a health standpoint, a staggering amount of the calamari was soft and soggy. Their presentation style frankly made it so this shouldn't be the case, but it's a natural byproduct of light batter, light frying. Nevertheless, I think this menu would appeal to many different palates. This is a small restaurant chain tucked away in a busy strip mall, wedged between a Sally Beauty store and Kohl's. The menu offers Mediterranean street food, and nearly everything is served on or in warm pita bread, thus the name of the restaurant. Every Wednesday between 4-9, the restaurant offers a free kids meal with adult entree purchase. The restaurant is usually packed with families taking advantage of this deal on a regular weekly basis. The portions are hearty and there is both a sandwich and a platter option for most entrees. My standby order is a Traditional Gyro with a side of baba ghaboush. The baba ghanoush is neither smoky nor chunky with roasted eggplant, but it is smooth and tangy and beautifully garnished with olive oil, and parsley - three garnishes on a side dish served in a plastic basket is nearly unheard of! I'm not sure how authentic the meal is (probably not very), but our family is often in dire need of healthyish food and time to decompress and talk to one another, without breaking the budget, and this place totally delivers that. My husband likes the platter version of my dish, which comes with two sides. He prefers the quinoa tabbouli and the hummus. Our kids both enjoy the kids gyro sandwiches, and they are also allowed a side selection as well as a bottle of Fairlife milk.
