So amazing to have finally found a yoga space where I can practice and feel phenomenal afterwards. have been searching for sometime and am so glad my girlfriend Vanessa recommended . Flor is the most amazing teacher and has helped me with my postures . She really cares for her students and you can feel the deep connection she has with each student that takes her class. I can't do a headstand yet but am getting there and feel stronger and Inspired every single time I leave her class! I look fwd to it every couple days a week. I'm have a more spiritual connection with my mind and body and can feel the wonderful energy in this classroom which is something you can't find everywhere . Take her class , you won't regret it! Update . Making better choices all around . Lost 15 lbs and I can now do a headstand . I'm going through a lot of changes emotionally and one of the toughest times in my life . Is it possible to have a crush on a place...? Well if so - I am loving this studio. The whole vibe, the instructors, the oversize studio ( always room to do your thing and not feel like you are invading someone else's space.) There is something super calming about being here and the owner - Theresa - glows. Her personality. Her energy. And it shows that she is committed to that energy and is super selective in her staff. Okay so here is the problem - I am trying to love yoga more than I do just because I love being here. I'll get there... eventually. I really enjoyed my Dharma Yoga class! It was very relaxed, focused on meditation, and releasing emotional energy! How cool is that! The studio was great. It was clean, had hardwood floors, and had supplied yoga blocks on site! I also really enjoyed how big the studio is. It allows for even the biggest classes not to feel crowded. Also note that the Come Together Yoga Studio is inside the Sportset Health and Fitness Club. You go inside the gym and someone will lead you to the yoga studio. I am a fan of HOT yoga where you are leaving the class dripping in released toxins and sweat. However, this class is heated and not hot...there is a difference. Although it is not a hot yoga class, I still enjoyed the experience and the class! Liz was filling in for Flor today and I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet her! She was an amazing instructor that was extremely helpful in showing me each pose and the correct posture! She even helped me into a head stand pose! Completely amazing! Overall, I had an amazing time and I do plan to come back and try other classes as well. read more

The classes and instructors are very good. However, the over-crowding of classes is surely a fire code violation. Also, the trickling in of late people, sometimes 15 minutes, should not be tolerated, it's disgraceful and rude. There needs to be a cap on participants, and a cut off for lateness. read more

I purchased a 10 class Groupon for this studio and attended my first class the other night. I had never taken a Restorative class before (blocks, blankets, bolsters all supplied), but the instructor Jennie was so terrific, and described everything so well that I had no problem following along. I felt wonderful after the class, and all the next day. I'm setting my alarm for the early Sunday Hatha class tomorrow...can't wait. The studio: located in the lower level of Sportset gym. Parking is available in the lot shared with the LIRR station. I arrived at 6pm and found a spot right away. The front desk staff was very friendly upon arrival and check in - I was given a bar coded tag to swipe in with each time I return, and brought downstairs and given some more information on classes, and facilities. You're given a log in for the Sportset website, so that you can book your classes in advance online. The studio itself is beautiful. Meticulously clean, and completely free of that musky odor that usually lingers in hot yoga studios. For this class the lights were very dim, which was great. Sound carries very well, so even in the back of the room, I could hear the instructor very clearly. She also walked around during class and checked in on everybody, modifying poses for those who needed it. There is plenty of room in this studio - I think they said it was 1200 sq feet? Cubbies outside the door for your shoes, but I believe you can also use Sportset's locker room facilities, but I did not take advantage of that. Maybe next time. I was shocked when I came home and looked at their website to see if I could reasonably afford to attend regularly after my Groupon runs out. Single classes are only $10?? What? That sealed the deal for me. Impeccable facilities, accessible location, a schedule that actually fits my off-kilter work schedule - there are early mornings, weekdays, afternoons, and evening/nights too. For $10?? This is a beautiful studio with amazing instructors. I began my journey here using a groupon and joined the gym to have access to this studio. This is the spirit and intent of groupon. The instructors are great. They have many different styles. I was concerned about the small amount of classes offered but it works out perfect for me and my schedule. I like all the instructors but Flor is my favorite! I will get into headstand one day but the yoga is not forced. They provide a variety of options for all levels. Highly reccommend. read more

I'm writing this review a little late(about 1 year lol) but I just wanted to say that the ambiance of this studio is VERY relaxing! It's also VERY CLEAN, which is awesome when it comes to being on the floor. Make sure you get there atleast 10 min early or ON TIME. The classes usually fill up fast! Atleast they did back when they had the groupon promotion. I haven't been in a while due to surgery but I do plan to return very soon. read more

My favorite studio in Rockville Centre! I've been doing yoga on and off for about 5 years. I'm used to practicing at studios in Manhattan so it was very difficult for me to find a place that I love on Long Island and now, I'm hooked on this studio! I go to Come Together Yoga at least 5 times a week and love all the teachers. The studio is immaculate and everyone is very friendly. Its almost like a little family. Most classes are open level which is great for those that haven't been practicing very long as well as those that have. I love the 9:30 am class with Flor on Tuesday and Liz on Wednesday and Friday. Nikki is also awesome for a faster pace/more advanced class on Mondays at 5:30pm. Jenny is also great. Her classes her better suited for beginners and her restorative class is very relaxing and wonderful. I can't say enough great things about this studio, the teachers and classes. It's awesome.
