Since it was a very small class, the instructor spent more time watching and fixing our forms. I usually take classes that are at least double the size, so it's easy to get lost in the group. I started taking classes here through my health insurance's One Pass program, and from the outset,…read morethis facility tried to thwart my participation. Initially, they said they did not honor One Pass even though they were still enrolled with One Pass and listed as a participating studio. After I contacted One Pass and this location received a call from One Pass, they reluctantly allowed me to take the 4 classes per month for the fees I paid monthly to One Pass, as agreed. Last month, I received notice from this Club Pilates location indicating that they will no longer be participating with One Pass. Although this back and forth is off-putting, I took the 4 allotted classes each month. I found the classes mostly useful and appreciated that the space is clean and the instructors are pleasant. I will decide whether to sign up on my own or move to one of the other facilities further away from home that have opted to remain in the One Pass program. Based on some of the other reviews on Yelp, signing on for a membership at the East Meadow studio may unfortunately cause me more trouble than it's worth.

I've been seeing Sakina for my allergies since 2014, and although I've only visited her maybe once…read moreor twice per year, she fully heals me every time, at which point I am able to get off my allergy medications, and I no longer look like I'm crying all the time from my teary eye...she's that good! Visits to Sakina are not only very professional, but warm and friendly too. She has this wonderful nature about her and is interested in me, and what else could be going on in my life, that is making my body behave in a particular way. Sakina's approach is completely holistic, treating the body as a whole, not treating the problem, or putting a band aid on it. If you want to truly get your body in synce and get tuned up completely, then do yourself a favor. Don't miss an opportunity to feel whole again, especially being able to be close to your favorite animal again or enjoy the beautiful weather outside without it attacking your senses. The only side effect you will notice, is how wonderful you feel!

Saw an ad to try a class, thought it would be something I'd like. They immediately call you…read moreafterwards with a bunch of questions along with wanting your credit card number (even though it's a free class) the class was rougher than I thought and my body was trembling at certain points. I understand it's high intensity but there are other high intensity workouts I'd rather try. As soon as the free class was over, they had just enough employees on hand to come to each of us taking the free class ready to get our money. They already had a schedule ready for us, whether or not it actually worked around our lives. If you have the time, money and strength to do this, go for it. But I'd personally prefer a place that doesn't come for you like a shark. You could tell they were following a script as it sounds like what's written in their email communications. And when I said I wasn't ready to sign up and that I don't get paid until next week, I was met with a "well I'll trust you that you don't get paid until next week" I know it's Garden City, however that doesn't mean all the clientele walking in comes from Garden City where they can afford this. It was also a holiday where schools were closed and people were off of work. The surrounding businesses were packed with people, I thought this class would be full with regulars as well. It was only three of us which also raised a red flag because why wouldn't people be getting their workout in on their day off, unless people really weren't going there? My bar also conveniently had a ribbon tied around that a staff member cut off and made sure to tell us a that it was to celebrate someone's milestone in the previous class which to me seemed a bit staged as a way to lure us in.

love this studio - energy, class variety and amazing community of members. teachers are motivating…read moresupportive and have excellent technique. the owner Miriah also creates and brings fun events and celebrated our milestones. the studio has a very collegial and empowering atmosphere. the classes are pricey but well worth the investment in your health and strength! this workout is fun, motivating and makes me feel so much stronger and more enduring in my job and life.

The space is always clean, the equipment is up-to-date, and you can really tell the owners care about their members and the overall vibe of the studio. I've taken great classes with George, Maria, Dawn, and Christine based on my schedule, but all the instructors are very knowledgeable, encouraging, supportive. They're invested in helping their members feel stronger and healthier. The front desk staff also deserve a shoutout because they're always friendly, helpful, and accommodating, I'm really grateful to have found this studio.
