Doors to the auditorium opened about a half hour before show time, and the student ushers were able to show us to our seats without a hitch. Bathrooms are located downstairs - 5 or 6 stalls in the women's room, and not enough soap dispensers (if you aren't going to have one dispenser per sink, at least place them so I won't have to walk away from my sink in search of soap!) - and lines are an issue as usual. Our seats in the Orchestra Center were in the second to last row, but I didn't need to take out my binoculars (I brought them along in case, since it was my first visit). Unfortunately, however, the rows aren't offset from one another and there isn't much of an angle to the auditorium floor, so if there is a tall person in the seat infront of you, you're just out of luck! I don't know if it was just the performance I attended (The Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats), or normal for this theater, but tickets were $20 general admission, while a quick scan online showed me that tickets at most other locations for this particular tour were closer to $30. Commuting tip - if you are taking the T from the Green Line above ground, you can switch to a E Line outbound train at the Arlington T stop without paying again. Afterwards, if you don't want to make the reverse trip, you can take an easy (10 min?) walk over to the Hynes T stop to catch your ride home. Don't get me wrong, this is still a great theater, but it is my least favorite of the three... especially in the summer. No, nothing to do with A/C, but to do with the seating! The benches they have can be terrifically uncomfortable for long-term sitting (you know, like the kind you do at the orchestra. The cushions are cushiony enough, no compaints there... it is the backs of these things that get quite fidgety! I don't really know how to describe them other than to say: they aren't really flat. What does this have to do with winter? Well, when it's cold you have have a puffy jacket to serve as a makeshift pillow of sorts. Now that this needlessly long rant is over... I like how the seating is in a semicircle around the stage. What I like about this is your head won't be turned 70° for the entirety of the show. While if you are sitting at one of the ends (on the second floor, at least) you won't see the whole stage... this is typical of halls like this. Also, since The Blue Man Group does not perform here, it is not as important. Acoustically, since I am not an audiophile I can't comment in much detail. However, the hall being semi-circular and smaller gives the sound a little more "oomph" than a larger hall. Architecture is pleasant. It is not quite as extravagant as an Opera theater, but not a nondescript space by any means. Enough to get you looking around a bit before the show. Also, the deep wood tones add that "establishment" feeling that help you feel the age and institution of Harvard, and all that preceded whatever performance or lecture you have come to see. I was also a fan of the large room (hall?) that is the lobby. A great place to do a little mingling and walking about after the show or during an intermission. A few concluding notes: * While there is an elevator to the washrooms, I don't think the balcony levels are accessible. * Bathroom situation is not great. They are kept clean, certainly. Only there can be lines, especially lengthy for the ladies'.

There are special event trains but tickets sold out early. Gillette is where the Patriots play football. I came to watch the BTS concert. Always read the regulations regarding stadium entry. They passed out water and even allowed people to bring it inside. That is something I haven't seen other stadiums allow. Stadium is very easy to navigate. Appreciate it is located next to stores and eateries called Patriot Place. You can find food, drinks and even a movie theatre. The bathroom lines do get extremely long, so try to go at optimum times such as intermission or outfit changes by the artist you are watching. It also, does get very warm in the stadium. Very humid and sweating. Definitely has its pros & cons, but I enjoyed myself!

The only thing that I liked: there was a shopping center right next to the stadium with lots of food. It was cool to hang about and shop until closer to the concert. But all the bad is strictly about the venue and not at all about the artist I came to see. I had a great time if I block out everything that comes after. Let's start with how this venue is NOT near Boston, and that if you were to fly in, the commuter rail takes about an hour. Not bad, but my friend and I ended up standing the whole time. After that, it's a little bit of a walk to get to the stadium (maybe 10-15 mins). Still doable though a bit annoying, and it's still the case if you park in certain lots. However, there was only one return train running to Boston, and it was maybe ~15 mins after the concert. You have to leave early to catch it or find another way home. Like ride share. The worst thing? If you didn't leave the concert early, like during the closing set, ride share didn't really work out until 3 am. Yes, that's right. The concert ended around 10:30 pm, and groups of us waited at lot 15, the designated pick place for ride share, for almost 5 hours. You can check the video I posted, and you'll see people still walking to lot 15 to join the rest of us already waiting. From where I was at the venue, lot 15 was about a 20 minute walk. Lyfts and Ubers couldn't get to us because traffic was at a complete stop in some lots for over an hour. I know this because on D2, more friends were able to attend that day, and we had a car since one of them lived in MA. We parked at lot 55, general parking for ticket holders. We were able to leave around 2 - 2:30 am am after waiting for other lots to clear out. We did not move at all and neither did the other cars in the lot until hours later. That's still not great for such a large venue to not be able to direct traffic the day after knowing how bad it gets. Oh, and staff weren't helpful. You can ask for directions or help, and most of them were not sure or would redirect you to asking someone else because they don't know. The venue itself had rules about signage, but they were very lax. Due to having VIP for one of the days, I was stuck in the stadium since 3:30 pm to the end of the show at 10:30 pm, and I had the unfortunate experience of getting this stadium's food. It made me realize I really took Atlanta for granted. Not only was it expensive it didn't really taste that great nor was there much variety.

I've had totally decent experiences with the bands that play here. They do mostly cover songs of both stuff from the past and the top 40s. In between sets the DJ spins your usual top 40 hits. It's fun to dance to and there are usual a lot of drunk people out on the dance floor past 11. What's bad: Price of drinks. I was PISSED when my redbull vodka cost me $10. They used the crap vodka too. That sucked. I would just get beers. They serve Bud Lights in plastic bottles for like $3 or something. The clientele: It's an assortment of young 20s and college kids and the occasional bachelorette party. I once saw a pregnant girl there. That was bizarre. I wouldn't say it's high class or anything, just the standard drunk young crowd. If you are a girl you might get felt up but usually everyone here is polite and it's not an overly grind-up-against-you kind of place. Overall nothing special. I liked it a lot in college but now it's kinda eh because it's out of my way and you're not going to meet anyone interesting there (or at least in my opinion). BUT, I can say the bartender I went to poured me a SERIOUS vodka and club. It was more like a martini in a plastic cup then a vodka/club, so props to him for that... The crowd here is pretty young, I'm 27 and felt "old" last night... I also felt really tall, where did all the tall men go? Overall, I have a good time here, when my friends come in from out of town and want to get the "Boston" experience I drag them into Fanueil and say pick a line... All the bars in that area offer one thing, a good time with good friends.... Parris at least offers live music too... Oh one last note, come here with a group of people, the place is huge....

The Center Bar is actually located in the center of the casino.. This is a great place to socialize and get a real drink. They have beers in bottles and alcoholic beverages with higher shelf liquors. FYI, *you need to pay for these. These are not free drinks like when you're playing slots and gaming. The bartenders are very astute, polite, and make great drinks with prompt service. On Friday and Saturdays it's a great place to converse and meet friends. As with everywhere else at Encore parking, entrance and everything is the same as the casino as this is just one of the bars in the middle of the casino. It's located at the bottom of the big stairway in between the slots and the tables and the cashier. On the weekends, FYI, this is basically standing room only. There's only a few chairs scattered around each side of the bar and then the rest of the crowd is standing around the bar, since there are no walls other than one stairway so there's plenty of room to spread out of people actually wanted to .

The area is in between the curved marble stair cases that lead to the high limit gaming area. It's a vibrant, busy, and relatively noisy spot. The problem with this bar is that they're very short staffed and when busy it can take 20+ minutes to get a drink ordered. They also struggle to keep the bar stocked and so the beer you want may not be available. Another issue is they serve some drinks in plastic disposable cups, which is unacceptable for a luxury place and especially one where you are paying $16 for a cocktail, $8 to $12 for a beer, and $13 to $23 for a glass of wine. It also feels insulting to pay that much and be served in disposable plastic, especially when even the comped drinks at the tables are coming in glass.

The Back Bay Event Center staff is superb! My company recently held an all day, open conference in…read moreBoston and ended up renting two rooms at the Back Bay Event Center. The staff was great! Cords, audio, parking validation, catering and all other logistics were taken care of extremely well and the day ran smoothly. Minor glitches were not brought to anyone's attention unnecessarily. Everything we specified in our contract from wi-fi access to turkey and vegetable wraps were spot on. Although this venue was a little pricey than others we had looked into you can easily understand why you pay a premium to work with people that truly understand how to put on events. If you are planning an event in Boston anytime soon this is a fantastic location and you should try to work with the Manager, David (so great and professional). The only reason I had to leave off the last star was due to a few hidden cost within our contract such as a clean-up fee and extra service fees. Just be thorough and ask about the total amount. Great place for seminars, banquets, and many other events.
