There are a few "accessible" seats at the back of the house on a venue where everyone is standing. So, you get a view of everyone's backside. And if that wasn't insult enough there's injury as well. Literally. There was no barrier insulating the accessible seating and people were continually tripping over my partner. I ended up standing to prevent people from injuring them. We were told that the box office was supposed to tell us to come an hour before the show started to get a seat at the front of the house. Really?!

They have a dj spinning all the throwback hits. You can grab your drinks at the bar and proceed to play. We went for golf first, the 9-hole took around an hour. We were 4 people and we had loads of fun! With the game, drinks and music, a time was had! We next decided to go for food. The service was slow, but our server was chatty. They have your usual burgers, fries and pizzas. Now at a place like this, I don't expect much, but the food really blew us away. It was delicious. Definitely get the Zia fries to share! We got a mix of burgers and pizzas, everything tasted phenomenal. We then closed our tabs with our server and there was a mix up with the package we had bought and the credits we were supposed to have. The front desk was kind enough to fix the bill. I'm hoping it's because they're new.. and we're busy. We ended the night with the 30mins of unlimited play. By this hour, the arcade was very busy and it was a long wait for the fun games. You win points in your 30mins, then redeem them at claw machines for stuffed bears. None of us won the stuffed bears.. the claw machines seemed rigged :( They should definitely look at redeeming points for guaranteed rewards. The line for the club wraps around the building down the street most nights, so we got lucky. Dance floor is upstairs and it's pretty small, just one room. There were two DJs that night, and the music was really good. Bar was fun, they handed out free chicken tenders at one point and were squirting shots into peoples mouths out of gatorade bottles. It was awesome. Bathroom line upstairs for women was crazy, only one bathroom and it took a long line. I suggest going downstairs... but at least you'll see the famous cheetah print walls! I used to attend shows at The Rockwell at least once a month. It was a dive-bar of a venue, but it…read morehad heart. That, unfortunately, has changed over the past several years. Attended a show there in the summer and while the show was great, the venue is in horrendous shape and they don't care. First, they claim to be ADA compliant. That's pretty much a lie. They're wheelchair accessible, *IF* they remember to open the door that leads to the elevator, and ALSO to unlock the door that leads to the venue, HOWEVER, they very often forget one or both of those, but also, they do NOT have an accessible restroom!! Saloon, down the hall, allows use of their accessible restroom, *IF* they're open, but they have cut their hours, and were not open during the aforementioned show. No warning, just no ADA-compliant restroom. This is BAD. I have emailed the venue FOUR TIMES and have been completely ignored. So here we are. A place that used to be quirky but cool, is now just a little craphole that sometimes manages to book good talent. I would definitely advise my friends who produce shows to find elsewhere. Communication is important. So is accessibility. They do NOT care. I was going to be nice and give 2 stars, but you know what? With their willingness to refuse to talk about/include accessibility, they can take their one star and shove it.

The second half involves audience participation, but it's not mandatory if you're more on the shy side. The actors were incredible and very funny. They brought some modern twists and definitely some Boston jokes which I enjoyed. You will laugh a lot and have a great time trying to figure everything out. Overall, I think this would be a great show to see for locals and tourists alike. Perfect for a rainy day as well if you're in the area!

Shear Madness was frankly one of the shows that really surprised me in terms of quality and fun…read morethat the crew was able to bring out from their audiences. With around 80-100 seats, the show was pretty intimate and fun. I love how their performers were able to adjust to and roll with each audience's feedback...and many times, returned with even funnier responses. It does take a talented crew to be able to work together and do a bit of improv to keep the audiences highly engaged and I definitely thought the team of performers I saw did such a fantastic job that night. I honestly went in without much expectations but definitely came out really happy that I got to see thus show. Many audiences felt the same as well. P.S. restrooms are underground and behind the stage...so you may not be able to get in there until they start letting the audiences in. Also, they have a bar downstairs so you can enjoy your show with your fav drinks, too.
