Upon arrival at the airport, a lying, manipulative counter agent claimed there were "no other cars on the lot" and forced me into a compact Nissan Sentra instead of the promised Chevrolet Malibu or similar. This wasn't just a minor inconvenience--it was a bait-and-switch scam, plain and simple, especially egregious given my upcoming knee replacement surgery, which makes compact vehicles physically unbearable. In Augusta, with limited Uber or Lyft options, I had no choice but to accept the subpar vehicle to attend business meetings and scout housing. I needed a car, but I expected and deserved what I paid for.When I disputed this fraudulent charge with Wells Fargo, I expected support from a bank I've trusted for four decades. Instead, I got incompetence and betrayal.
