Upon arrival at the airport, a lying, manipulative counter agent claimed there were "no other cars on the lot" and forced me into a compact Nissan Sentra instead of the promised Chevrolet Malibu or similar. This wasn't just a minor inconvenience--it was a bait-and-switch scam, plain and simple, especially egregious given my upcoming knee replacement surgery, which makes compact vehicles physically unbearable. In Augusta, with limited Uber or Lyft options, I had no choice but to accept the subpar vehicle to attend business meetings and scout housing. I needed a car, but I expected and deserved what I paid for.When I disputed this fraudulent charge with Wells Fargo, I expected support from a bank I've trusted for four decades. Instead, I got incompetence and betrayal. JoJo and his band of bumbling colleagues dismissed my claim, insisting it wasn't bait-and-switch or fraud despite it fitting the exact legal definition of both. Their reasoning? I "accepted" the vehicle--ignoring the fact that I was coerced with no viable alternative. To add insult to injury, Wells Fargo demanded the same paperwork four separate times during the dispute process, closing my case prematurely and forcing me to call repeatedly to confirm they even received my documents. Don't do business with Wells Fargo Mortgage!! They have been my mortgage provider since I purchased my house in 2006. I have refinanced twice over the years and just recently I requested to refinance again to lower my payments. My home appraised at over twice the amount I was asking for but they denied the loan because it is my 'second' home and not my primary. And according to the "underwriters" that makes it ineligible for refinancing. But they can't tell me that until AFTER they collected $650 from me for an Appraisal! The fact that it being a second home would make it ineligible should have been known from the start. I did not hide this fact from them and explained that my disabled sister lives in the home. I will never do business with them again and I will never advise any friends, family, or business clients to use this thieving company!! read more

This review is primarily for the home mortgage department. This is a tale of 2 extremes, and because of that I will give 2 stars. My wife and I were looking to buy a home and finance it through Wells Fargo. Several years back they were our mortgage company and we were pleased with the customer service. We were disappointed to find that the mortgage banker we were familiar with had moved to another branch. Kevin was the mortgage banker. He worked with us to get pre-approved immediately. The following week we put an offer on a house. We went to submit the offer to him so he could order the appraisal, but got no response. after 3 days of calling, leaving voice mails, and texting with no reply, we contacted the branch manager. She couldn't get a hold of him either. After another day went by Kevin contacted us and said he had been sick. He apologized promising that he would never leave us hanging again. Kevin ordered the appraisal. Our appraisal came back lower than our offer. so we counter offered. We once again submitted it to Kevin. No response. This was on a Friday. Monday the same thing, no response. Tuesday I went to the bank to see Kevin personally. There was a different person at his desk. When I asked for Kevin I was told that he was no longer with the bank. My rating for Kevin at this point would have been a -5 if there were such a rating. The person at Kevin's desk was Andre. He told me he would be taking Kevin's place. With reservations I agreed to go ahead with the process. The rest of the process didn't go smooth. Because we qualified for down payment assistance, we were constantly asked for more documents and our loan was transferred to a Wells Fargo in Minnesota. Andre was there for us through the rest of process and explained everything to us. He sympathized with our frustration and worked very hard to make sure we had an on time closing. I would give Andre a 6 star rating if I could. His customer service is outstanding. The bottom line is that our loan was completed and we closed on time. I rated the whole overall experience a 2, because I have experienced better. If you do finance a home through Wells Fargo in Mesa, I would recommend talking to Andre. read more

I have been a member of this bank for almost 35 years, I brought my kids in to set there checking accounts only to be told sorry you don't have an appointment. No one was there, 3 tellers a manager and a customer service agent. Told we couldn't wait appointment only, I understand appointment if your slammed with customers but they weren't. So we went right around the corner to chase and opened up checking accounts no problem. I will stitch all my accounts this next week. read more

Countless lawsuits, transaction stacking to incur overdraft fees and now the latest scam literally, future charging of overdrafts fees! Never before seen until now! I have literally spent hours during several visits to try and complete very simple tasks concerning my dad's account. He passed away this year. They seem so incompetent. Today, after an hour and a half, they said they wouldn't/couldn't help me. They had all the information they needed in the first five mins and they toyed with me for over an hour!
