Friendly service, tried their most popular smoked pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich, crispy bread and chewy pork, sweet flavor, recommend, less than $10 good choice for lunch.

Since my regular Lunch truck wasn't around today, I decided to give Comet BBQ Lunch Truck a Try, been meaning to for a while now, the picture on the side of their Truck drew my Eyes ;P I wanted to try out their Lance Beef BBQ but they were out -_- so i decided to try out their Chicken Skewers (Lance), i told them to skip the salad and macaroni and just to give me extra rice, the Friendly Cashier said no problem. while waiting for my food, i took pictures of their menu on the side of their truck for other Yelper to check out the pictures have a description of the dishes and prices. when my order arrived, i took a picture and tried it out, it was YUMMY! you can see the portion of the skewers on the pictures. The Peanut Sauce was so Good, it enhanced the Chicken when i dipped the chicken in it before i bite into it. i was full. i just found me another excellent food lunch! if you like any of the photos i posted, I would recommend you give them a try.

This food truck showed up one day near by workplace (just last week, in fact). I was drawn in by the golden fleur-de-lis on black print of the exterior, but pictures of the menu items seemed more appetizing! It appeared they advertise as offering "BBQ" but really, it's mostly sandwiches and burgers with some barbecue ingredients. Nothing wrong with that, but it's not entirely true "barbecue/bbq" in the traditional sense. On the plus side, they do advertise their pulled pork as being smoked for 10-14 hours (depending on whether you're getting their pulled pork sliders, pulled pork grilled cheese, or meaty and smokey bbq burger). I hope they are properly smoked at an off sight location and not just in that truck. I ordered the smoked pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich because it seemed like their most popular item and it looked the most tasty at first sight. The wait isn't too bad, even with several customers who ordered ahead of me. When my pulled pork grilled cheese came out, man, it looked really delicious. I think it would be best enjoyed right then and there, when the cheese is still ooey and gooey. I waited a few minutes and the cheese hardened up a bit. But the pulled pork is quite tender and juicy. Serving size is decent but I wish they stuffed it with a bit more pulled pork. It seemed a bit skimpy when you do peel apart the bread to reveal the inner contents. It could also use a bit more cheese. Would definitely try the other menu items next time around. Not bad for lunch! Pro-tip: For an extra spicy kick, they do offer Sriracha (cock sauce) as a condiment!

I found this truck between barrington and bundy in front of the 11766 Wilshire office bldg. The lady working the truck was very polite, friendly and had my order ready in under 10 minutes...nice for the office crowd. I had the chicken tenders special and the angus burger. The tenders were as advertised-tender and oh so juicy. The crispiness was just right. These were the best chicken tenders I've ever had! Nice job Comet Team. The Angus Burger was also juicy, meaty with great flavor and achieved top five burger status for me this year whether truck or restaurant. Comet is now in my top ten list for food trucks. I'll try out their hotdogs next time.

Lunch is served bitches. Ribs from a truck? I'm sure it's fine.

Purely from the point of view of buying baby back ribs from a truck, this place rules! So the first thing that must be said (and you'll notice this if you ever try this truck) is that the lady who takes your order is maybe the MOST EXCITED PERSON ever to sell you ribs. It's like the girl shot herself out of a Molly-Induced Happy Cannon. At first I was kinda thinking she was flirting with me but quickly realized this was her whole thing when she took the 12-year old girl's order after me. OK, that last part didn't happen but it felt like it did. Anyway, by contrast, the person who actually preps the food is quite the opposite. All business and no fuss, this lady just rocks out the hardest, all-business attitude and merely makes some of the best tasting ribs I've had anywhere... from a truck. I mean, in essence, these two ladies are like the very answer to the age-old question: "how would human beings personify the mullet?" Answer: with business in the front and party in the back, it would be these ladies bar none. For reals though, the food is pretty awesome. The rib combo platter comes with four ribs (attached), a hearty scoop of steamed rice, and a nice cup of mixed greens. There is also a small bit of chili oil and some green, jalapeno-cilantro like pesto that is spread slightly over the rice. Trust me, it's Jean Claude Vam Damme-kick you in your scrotum-delicious, if you were a masochist kind of way. Anyway, I see some window washers getting ready to do the seasonal office window cleaning so I gotta go open my office glass door and piss out that sumavabitch. I call it "Galaga: Real World Edition". =P

If you haven't had this food truck bbq then you are missing out on the best food truck in the Southern California area. I had the smoked meaty bbq pulled pork burger and it was one the best burgers i ever had in my life. The bun they used was great for the burger size and the amount of pulled pork and burger pattie size was perfect. The fries we're good too. I am definitely recommending this place to all my friends.

Was watching my nephews soccer game and decided to grab a bite during half time. Food is mediocre honestly, but the Worst part is that after the game as we were walking to our vehicle, my nephew had an emergency- accidentally fell and hit his knee really hard on a piece of metal. Panicked I ran to the food truck asking for ice Please (explaining the situation) and the lady responded very rudely, "the ice is One dollar." A child was hurt and all they care about is charging a dollar for ice?!?! How utterly inhumane. Never buying nor recommending this ridiculous food truck.

Hard to find a place doing it this good. This is my 8th LA smash burger and it's definitely a top three contender! The ratios were on point. The lemon pepper fries were killer. The bulgogi fries were strangely good for no one appearing to be Korean who worked there. Big fresh jalapeños on top with the perfect amount of sauce. GREAT home made pickles on the burger to offset the rich patty and cheese. The service was TOP tier. Took a little longer than most, but tasted better than most! So pick your poison! Great outdoor seating in a bar next door with its own brewery. They have a deal going so you can use that place. Sat in a cool outdoor patio area with fake grass and a nice fence. Nice shade. I went last weekend to the Lunar New Year event in NoHo and saw that they had the truck there - it was kismet. I decided to order the Korean short rib burrito for my first dive into the Korean Mexican fusion world. I was not disappointed. Love how the kimchi and short rib work within a burrito, and it's very fair pricing for what you get. I liked that they weren't stingy with the beef. The flavor was savory and had plenty of the umami flavor you expect from Korean bbq, and the kimchi brings a great crunch. The line was long for the truck, but from what I've heard, I may have gotten off easy with only a 30 minute wait - this place is popular! Anyway, really dug it and found it something fascinating and new to me. Excited to try the tacos next.

The line wasn't too bad for lunch on a Thursday but the wait for your food can take 15 minutes. The popular things I heard being ordered were the short rib tacos and the short rib burrito. My go to is the burrito and it is still delicious. So much Korean bbq flavor! It was large and stuffed with the short rib goodness, scrambled eggs, diced potatoes and a little cheese. Sounds like a breakfast burrito doesn't it? With a side of kimchi, my lunch was perfect. One of the few trucks I would consider a favorite. If you see it, don't second guess yourself. Get the burrito or a taco at the very least!

The thought of the two teaming up seems unattainable but it's been done and it's called Dulanville Food Truck! Yep, they serve up delicious eats from both establishments on one food truck! It's a cute truck that I was able to try at Infatuation's Eeeeatsfest. Of course what they offer depends on where you are catching them, but they will always have some form of that signature Prince's hot chicken recipe on the menu and if you're smart, you'll get that. I also highly recommend their Mac & Smokin' Cheese if it's on offer...omggggg. Mac & cheese is one of my guilty pleasures, childhood classic comfort foods, and this version is fabulous. Creamy pasta baked with four cheeses but having that signature soul punch with a dash of Hotville's sweet heat seasoning. Obsessed! I saw they're going to be at Winterfest today so am going to try to swing by for some more yums! You can see where they are on their website or ig! :)

It's excellent. I hadn't had Hotville since their brick & mortar space closed last year. Other than the food coming out of a truck, nothing seems to have changed. I tried the Dulanville truck for the first time when they were at Three Weaver's Brewery. I had the fish sandwich, fries, collard greens, banana pudding, and peach cobbler. The fish sandwich was spicy, fresh, and delicious, and the portion size was very generous. The sides were tasty, and the desserts worth ordering. I really enjoyed the banana pudding, which had nice slices of fresh banana and was topped with a Pepperidge Farm chessman cookie. The peach cobbler was really good, too. Service was friendly - just like it was at the brick and mortar space. And the wait time was short. I'm glad Hotville is back - even if in food truck form - and look forward to eating with them again.
