He was very kind, patient, empathetic, and professional yet people friendly. He knew the products very well which is not always the case in various establishments. I didn't realize until I got home that the lemon and tiramisu were on a platter with a logo from Baklovah, a bakery in San Antonio. I googled the shop, and found a photo of the identical dessert I had just ordered. The desserts were very good, but I can't justify a business upcharging me for another bakery's goods, when I could've gone to Baklovah and supported the bakers who actually made them. I don't know, maybe this is common practice and I'm just completely out of the loop, but I assumed I was supporting a small bakery that made their items in house.

And we have been to quite a few in every town where we see one, Castroville, Bandera, etc.. It was perfect and the service was very friendly. I felt welcomed there. I stayed for about an hour to get some writing done and one of the gals there brought me a sample of their holiday eggnog chai tea. WOW! So good!
