Comfort Concepts was called to check my air conditioner. Told me they'd be here at 8am. No show, no call nothing. So I called them. No answer. Called again, again no answer. When I finally did reach them I was told they'd be here at 1pm. By 2:15pm still no tech. Called again, several times, no answer. The office girl finally called me. When I asked if they were coming she said they were running late. I told her it would've been nice to be made aware, simple customer service. She didn't like that and told me "your shit is not getting fixed today" and hung up on me. Don't even bother with this company. Completely unprofessional and very rude. read more

WARNING COMES BEFORE DESTRUCTION... CUSTOMERS BEWARE Absolutely the WORST by far. Comfort Concepts received the claim from my home warranty company, First American Home Warranty. Chris Slaton (Owner) came as expected to service and complete a diagnostic on my a/c unit. He was very customer friendly. Well, some weeks past due to a catastrophe in the area. When things were back at a norm, I called to schedule an appt to install a new a/c unit for 5/4/2023. The techs came as scheduled. They ended up destroying the a/c unit's door panel and base board. At the end of the end of the day, the techs declared that Comfort Concepts ordered the wrong part(s) for the a/c unit and would need to reorder replacement parts. Well, a few weeks lapse and I heard NOTHING from this company. Mind you it's May 2023 in Arkansas which can be HOT. I finally called Christie (Ofc Rep) in the office being assertive with her due to the extremely poor communication from this company. Christie informed me that Chris was in search of this part for the a/c and will be picking the part up this day 5/18/2023. Christie also exclaimed that she would call me back later in the day to schedule a time to come by. No one ever called. Now I'm extremely angered. On 5/24/2023, I called Christie and she contacted Chris, begging him to close out the repair ticket and mentioned that he FORGETs a lot. An appt was scheduled for 5/25/2023. Let's see what happens with this unreliable company. This company needs to be reported to Arkansas' Attny General. The amount that I owed that was uncovered by Insurance was $1650, which had to be paid in full prior to the service. How about $1650 was paid in full. The company NEVER issued me a professional receipt of payment. They were given $1000 in cash and $650 via check. No receipt. I was promised a receipt via email by the end of the day, 5/4/2023 and still waiting on it today 5/24/2023. If I could, I'd give this company a 'Minus 3' on stars. CUSTOMERS BEWARE of this Company..... Warning comes before destruction..Hint Hint. UPDATE: 5/25/2023- Comfort Concepts' techs reported to complete their assignment as scheduled. The guys were not customer friendly after the job was completed. One of the techs had the audacity to tell my spouse, "Tell your wife THANKS for the review, and GOOD LUCK with the repairs." What was the tech insinuating? Did I lie when I wrote the review? It's one thing to be truthful and another to lie. Any way, goodbye and good riddance. From other reviews and from speaking to him on the phone, owner Chris sounds an okay(ish) person. His team, however, was a nightmare. Hung up on me several times, cussed me up and down, and accused me of "wanting free AC repair". What in the microaggression?!! Owner Chris called and genuinely apologized for the "misunderstanding". Fingers crossed I get my money back for everything they upsold me on, as promised. They also had me pay out of pocket for repairs my home warranty would have covered, and told me I would be reimbursed. They never even attempted to get the authorization. The supervisor "didn't want to mess up his numbers for the week"... at my expense, of course. Three visits to my house, and my AC still doesn't work. If I could have given zero stars, I would've. Do not work with these people. We didn't chose to work with this company for AC repair. They were assigned to us through our Home Warranty. Knowing what I know now, I'd have tried to get a different company assigned to our claim. When calling to schedule service, owner Chris either would not answer his phone or would say call the office manager, who also either wouldn't answer or would say she needed to call Chris and call us back - then she would never call back. While customer service is a plus when received, our main issue with this company is that we were receiving services through a home warranty claim and when we discussed what services and materials our home warranty would cover, they told us one thing, then when talking to the home warranty partners, they discussed another thing. This discrepancy about the services to be provided and material needed will have cost us upwards of $1600 by the end of it. I've made several attempts to call Chris to get clarification on what services would actually be covered, and he will not pick up the phone. Terrible service. Would not recommend. read more

Comfort Concepts was amazing to work with. Always quick with responses and they were always professional. I got a better deal than any of the larger HVAC companies offered. My AC and Heat work like a dream. I even purchased a maintenance agreement which was a way better deal ($60 less than any other place). Chris is supper knowledgeable about his work and walked me step by step through everything being done! read more

My AC was not cooling. This company came over diagnosed the issue and let me know it was my blower and that it needed to be replaced. They made the order through my home warranty company. The moment the part came in they came and put it on immediately so that my kids and I would not suffer in the heat. I appreciate their service. read more
