Now My Husband went to see Dr. Kenneth Liddiard his AMAZING Staff. My Husband had a bridge in the front top put in and we both are soo Happy, we have cried 3 times so far because we are SOO HAPPY. For Over 20 Years My Husband has missed out on family things, pictures, going to out to eat with our 6 children, Vacations, ect...all because of his teeth and feeling insecure. 'NOW' The first thing he wants to do is go school with our youngest Son for Donuts and Dad Day which he could never do before and then WE are getting A FAMILY PICTURE taking for the 1st time. NEVER GO HERE! I got a root canal done, and they made my teeth worse than it was before. I am being charged thousands of dollars at a different office because they messed up my teeth so bad! They will leave you sitting in a chair for 20 minutes. And unfortuntely, you will have to beg for more and more numbing injections because they don't use enough. This was by far the worst cleaning I've ever had. I don't believe the employees are dental hygienists. The dentist did the "scraping" part of the cleaning (5 min tops) and then the employee flossed and polished. The entire experience was 15-20 minutes and felt more like a "cash cow" business that just runs people in and out to bill insurance. Super disappointing. read more

I want to be very clear my experience here was horrible with Dr. Jason. The wisdom tooth surgery itself was awful (not his fault considering he can't legally put me under). What is his fault is his lack of communication for aftercare. I was not sent home with any rinse for my infection and simple hygiene (I had to go back myself to get it from the other polar opposite doctor), he only prescribed me 48 hours worth of pain medication for an extremely heavy extraction, he told me I was able to eat normal foods except for things "like chips" which is HORRIBLE horrible advice, I was never told about how damaging brushing certain parts of your mouth can be for the days following surgery. I was sent home that day with gauze and gauze only. I now have sores all in my mouth and on my lips. Clearly I am still in a lot of pain due to lack of knowledge on how to deal with this. This healing process has been exhausting and google has been my main source of help. From previous reviews and speaking to others whom have gone to him it is very clear he does not care about his patients. If you do not like doing the simple aspects of your job to make sure your patients, whom put trust in you, heal safely then I highly suggest not being in this field. Communicating basic aftercare is absolutely needed considering things can become dangerous if not treated properly. For gods sake have one of your front desk ladies print it on a piece of paper. I came here in pain searching for relief as comfort dental promises and unfortunately it's turned into the most uncomfortable and careless situation. No one deserves to be treated that way. So again if Dr. Jason isn't all about doing the simple parts of his job I highly suggest finding a new one rather than putting people through this. To add to this I already was having a really hard time with the extraction due to the numbing solution not working to the extent it should have (again not his problem) but after witnessing that you'd think he'd do everything in his power to make sure I left with all the information I needed to be as comfortable as possible. This is not to speak on any other comfort dental sites. The one in Glenwood is lovely and their dentist is unbelievably caring. Take notes. I will be speaking to a patient care advisor after I heal from this disaster. I highly suggest others to do this as-well. read more

I had to have a short notice emergency root canal. Dr Eames and the crew were able to fit me in the following day and got it done. My root canal was complicated as my roots are extra long, and one has an extreme bend in it. Dr Eames took his time, and got it done correctly. I could not be happier! DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST- IT IS NOT WORTH IT. I live in eagle county and needed to have a root canal done, I went here because it was in-network with my insurance. The dentist was absolutely terrible, this was the second root canal I have had and I never had any major pain or anything after the first one with a different dentist. This time the dentist laid his arm on my face with a lot of pressure during the entire procedure. I was crying during the procedure and while paying my bill but all they did is write me a pain med prescription and send me on my way. It has been less than 2 months and the crown has fallen apart and damaged the tooth right next to it because the crown was so tight next to that tooth, I could not even get floss between there. I went to a different dentist and they called multiple people over to show them how bad of a job this dentist did. I am writing this review because I had another coworker tell me about there terrible experience. I have had so many people tell me to never go there. This was one of the only dentist in the area that I could afford, but trust me IT IS NOT WORTH IT. read more

This office told me that I had several cavities. After going to another dentist I had zero. Going to a dentist should not be about making money off of patients that don't have anything wrong. Dr. David Lindman has been great so far! He is very personable and knowledgeable which goes a long way when you're in a dentist office. He deserves 5 stars! Now the rest of the staff is unfortunately no where near similar. I've now been to this office 3 times, 1.) general office visit with bite wings 2.) fitting for crown and had temporary put on 3.) had crown put in. Each and every time I've been here the staff is very young (18-22yrs old) which ultimately resulted in a lot of gossiping in between patients, no sense of customer service, and I would stretch to say even a lack of manners. Simple things such as being greeted, went without any care in the world. The dental assistants have treated me poorly and when hurting me, instead of apologizing these girls will make an excuse or say nothing. Today was a prime example of how terrible the dental assistant staff is. I came in for my crown to be cemented in. Everything was going fine until the final gluing came. I told the girl multiple times it felt tight and too far back, she continued to try and floss between this clearly too tight space... Causing a ton of pressure to be applied on my jaw (I have TMJ so this is extremely painful and could have dislocated my jaw)... When she finally was able to floss it, she was applying so much pressure it cut my gums pretty deeply to the point I had to turn away from her in pain. My mouth immediately filled with blood and never once did she say sorry or ask if I was ok. I'm pretty understanding, but she displayed a general lack or courtesy and compassion as I was clearly in pain and spitting up blood. Completely unacceptable! I was so put off and hurt I waited to speak to the doctor about it.. But this is definitely 3rd strike for this office. I've already spent $400+ after insurance in a month at this office.. I'd hope for some level of customer service. I suggest staying far away from this office, unless of course you don't mind being treated like a peasant by newly graduated young girls. read more

After some thinking, I got a second opinion from a different dentist and was told I had 0 cavities and that this is not a rare occurrence from Comfort Dental. I have a 5 year old special needs son who was very nervous about his appointment, but after meeting Dr. Lindman, he now spends every day pretending to be a dentist and is begging to go back! The most pleasant staff that have ever worked on my teeth. After being in agony all weekend I arrived Monday morning for an emergency appointment. They were able to get me seen within a few hours, so I was able to leave and come back. Might I add I was a new patient to the practice. Very reasonable prices and considerate of pain. I had to get referred for oral surgery to a different practice as I need a specialist. However I will be using Dr Lindman for all future needs and recommending to friends and family. read more

Been debating posting this because it was a few months back but it's been really freaking me out. Originally from out of state and went here for my first dental visit in CO. From the start it was weird. The dentist came in and was super condescending acting like I was some little kid. Legit said to me "aw bet your parents made you come get a cleaning huh?" I'm 25. I told him I go regularly every 6 months and he basically said "oh that's nice". Such a weird conversation. Then he did the bare minimum teeth cleaning and didn't floss my teeth properly because I have tight teeth he basically just touched the floss to my tooth. The real kicker was when he told me I had 8 CAVITIES. I floss and brush regularly and go to the dentist twice a year. I find it hard to believe that over the course of 6 months I developed 8 cavities out of nowhere. Something about this guy seemed off and he was too eager to get me in for fillings. When I went home to visit family I went to my dentist I've had since childhood and showed him the X-rays this crazy dentist from comfort dental took. After looking at the x rays and examining me himself, my dentist found one small cavity and couldn't find a single other spot that could even be confused as a cavity. Basically these guys at Comfort Dental are untrustworthy and seem kind of shady. Would never go back. read more

I wish I had the option to give Comfort Dental in Avon negative stars but the lowest # of stars available on Yelp is one so I'll have to go with that. Too bad because they deserve -500 stars. Dr. Liddiard literally traumatized my children. He reached into my 12 year old daughter's mouth (without any gloves on) and without my permission or any warning to her, ripped one of her teeth out with his hands. No tools. No sedation. And again no permission or warning. There was no conversation about needing the tooth to come out beforehand either! Then his office proceeded to try to charge me for an "extraction". He said my other two kids had cavities that needed filling but when I went to another dentist to have them filled (because after the tooth ripping out incident I was not taking them back there) they did not find any cavities in my kids! Oh and did I mention that we had to wait over an hour past our appointment time to be seen? This practice is horrible. I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to go there. Be warned and stay away they are frauds and the dentist takes pleasure in torturing children then will charge you for it. read more

The customer service here is terrible. The other reviewer was right in that the office is staffed by young girls who are more worried about themselves and each other than the patients. We arrived for my daughter-in-law to get wisdom teeth out. We were put in a room and when the dentist came in, he had no idea why were there. He was supposed to do the surgery! He thought it was a consultation. We eventually got the procedure done after waiting over an hour! In the meantime, I watched girls primping in the mirror and applying make up, over and over. The Doctor himself was nice and very helpful, but this place is INCREDIBLY un-organized and un-professional, it's actually surprising that they get any business with this staff. Multiple times I have went in and waited for 15-20 minutes for any of the girls to even acknowledge that I was there, even after going to the back and asking to schedule an appointment with them, they replied "We'll be right with you" and still 10 minutes later.... nothing, as there are about 4 of them back there talking amongst themselves. Also, going in for an appointment and having to repeat what I am there for multiple times to multiple different workers is incredibly frustrating. Communication is rather lacking and none of these girls seem to know what is going on. I do not recommend this dentistry. read more

Upon arriving early for my 2:30 appointment, I found a note taped to the front door saying that the office would be closed until 2:45 for a staff meeting. Odd? So I came back at 2:30 and the front door was unlocked, but no one at the reception desk. I signed myself into the arrival sheet and heard from absolutely no one until around 3:00 pm. It then took another 30 minutes to process my new patient paperwork before I was taken back for my x-rays. It took another 20-30 minutes before the doctor was back to see me. He spent more time rambling about a recent bad review he'd recently received than explaining his interpretations of my x-rays and the very minimal poking around in my mouth with his mirror that he did. Never mind that I was under the impression I'd scheduled a cleaning along with this new patient exam, I was just ready to be out of there at that point, which was 4:15 for a 2:30 appointment by the way, just getting x-rays and a consult, no cleaning. Overall very disappointing service, and I wouldn't go back. read more

I will never visit this office again, nor will I recommend this place to anyone. Right from the beginning I knew it was going to be a poor experience when there is no coat rack or closet to hang up a jacket. So patients have to carry around their jacket like an idiot from room to room. Strike one. My next impression was bad when they did not have an employee sitting at the front to greet guests and assist new patients with paperwork. You can see and hear through a doorway lots of conversation between employees that was not work related. I was given paperwork in Spanish and it took about 5 minutes for someone to come back and check on me and give me correct paperwork. Strike two. After waiting about 20 minutes past my appointment time (with no apology or explanation) I finally was brought back into the "exam room". Now this wasn't really a room, it was a large industrial space with partition walls separating patients, but all conversations could be heard throughout the space. If I had a sensitive case or wanted privacy, there would be no way for my visit to be secure and private. But when you are in the exam chair looking up, you can get a wonderful view of the exposed pipes and dust clinging on the ceiling. The assistant then proceeded to take my xrays. This was a disgusting contraption that i have never seen before and was not a disposable system that i am previously familiar with. There were just simple plastic bags put over the apparatus that was placed in my mouth, yet there were parts of the instrument that were not covered and were touching my mouth area. A gross strike three. The assistant then told me to wait for the doctor as he would be right in. Now i had booked a cleaning and was curious as to why i wasn't getting a cleaning. Oh when the doc comes in, he explains that they are short staffed today and i will not be getting my cleaning!! There goes a wasted day at the dentist and also a wasted office visit on my insurance. When the exam is over with and i proceed to get checked out, the girl was on the telephone and simply placed the receiver down in front of her (letting whoever was on the line to hear our entire conversation). She also had a horrible attitude and seemed super annoyed that i had interrupted her conversation on the telephone. We then had booked an appointment for next week for the services that i wanted done. Now flash forward to the next day when i wake up with a sore throat ( its just dryness i tell myself). Nope, turns out that I have strepp throat! How fascinating that i would get super sick after visiting their dirty office. And thinking back now on it, there was not that clean, sanitized smell that you normally associate with a dental office.There wasn't even toilet paper in the restroom!! So as I called today to speak with an office manager to cancel my appointment (there was none, so i spoke with a receptionist). I proceeded to explain why i was cancelling my appointment and she just said "Thank You" and hung up on me. No apologies or trying to ask forgiveness. Just plain rude customer service. I have never wrote a bad review for anyone ever, but this warranted action. I am now currently missing my work because of contracting a sickness from their office. And I might further contact the American Dental Association and make a complaint on their office regarding the health and safety violations as well as their lapse in patient confidentiality. So please visit any other dental office in the Valley, your health and safety depend on it. read more
