In my case, for initial exam (usually covered at 100% by BlueCross), they insisted on collecting an advance payment of $355. Once I paid, they charged me $700+ for "Cone CT" and have not refunded the money. They subjected me to unnecessary radiation despite my telling them that I am a "cancer survivor" and didn't want the scan. For Dr. Stuparitz, it appears that making money takes priority over a patient's well being. Sad! By posting my experience, I hope I can save others from being fleeced. He took an X-Ray, then did a CT scan, shared his findings with recommendations, and gave me a referral to the oral surgeon/implantologist. How much do they usually charge you for a consultation + X-Ray + CT scan? I know the answer, been there, done that, and your answer is wrong: Dr. Cooper charged me $0,.. Nothing! Can you believe that? I don't want people to print this review and show it to him, "You charged this guy $0, and I want the same price", but I just can't help yelling from the roof of the world's tallest tower, "This Doctor/Dentist must be from another planet where humanity, kindness, compassion, and decency still exists!" Dr. Max promptly contacted me, scheduled an emergency appointment, and did the most extensive exam and most comprehensive and detailed consultation, showed me and explained everything on the CBCT screen, and recommended a plan of action/treatment right after my jaw bone graft surgery the other day. I repeat again: Dr. Max is a wonderful, polite, soft-mannered, patient, and caring doctor, and his staff are very kind, comforting, and accommodating too. THANKS AGAIN!

They have a mini fridge available with waters in the waiting room and a coffee station. Once called back, the appointment felt rushed. I had imaging done and then had a 2-3 minute interaction with Dr. Max. There was no discussion of options, risks, etc. I was prescribed an antibiotic and told to schedule the next two appointments for root canal retreatment. I was a bit disoriented. I did as asked but eventually cancelled those two follow up appointments and scheduled with a different practice with more time for patient care and education.
