I have French doors connected to my deck on the upper floor and my original plan was to remove one of the French doors and replace it with a solid door that would have the dog door installed in it. After getting quotes, I was ready to buy the new door, but was worried that it would look tacky and also that the custom door wouldn't fit properly. I met these guys at a home show and their solution was perfect. They would simply remove the existing window pane from the French door and replace it with one that had a dog door built in. They scheduled an install date about 3 weeks out and came out to install the door. Unfortunately the first one was the wrong size, but they came back the following week with one that fit. I've had the door for about 8 months now and it has worked great. Definitely a great solution for anyone with French doors.

But this last project installing high-end frameless sliding glass shower doors in two shower over tub applications did not turn out well: a $6800 investment for two shower door applications. Initially water under the doors the full length of the tub. I went back and they gave me clear plastic water dams to install under the doors. That stopped water flowing under the doors in the middle but leaks at the corners still were a problem. It would appear that perfectly straight glass door sides with plastic edge trim don't perfectly close gaps found in slightly imperfect tile walls. After multiple trips, additional suggestions of trim adjustment and additional caulking we still had leakage at corners. At the final trip back to the shop the personnel were clearly not happy to see me. Note that never once did they offer to come out and see what was happening with the $6800 doors. Was only told that they never had problems with leakage before. I was given some additional edging and sent on my way. Certainly not the type of service one would expect from a full-service glass shop. I suggest folks in the market for high-end product expecting follow-on customer service should look elsewhere.

Hopefully this dude was just having a really rough day and wouldn't normally treat paying customers like they are worthless.

We had the magnetic blinds break on our french doors. We thought we would have to replace the…read moreentire french door with both sides. We called Bryson for a quote and he told us we would only need to replace the broken panel. We told him we would do both sides since we wanted the panel slides to match. He gave us a reasonable quote and told us it would take up to 10 days to get the glass in. He called us back within two days and had the entire installation done within an hour. Both sides look great and the magnetic slides are much smoother than what we had before. As you can see, the finished product looks great! I will use him for future purchases and I highly recommend him.
