On top of that, there was hair in the tub and all over the bathroom floor. For a family, the bathroom offered no privacy. It had these old, worn-out barn-style doors that didn't close properly or lock -- a terrible design for anyone needing even a little privacy. Throughout the hotel, the walls were filthy with greasy handprints, and the overall condition made it feel like management and housekeeping had completely given up on maintaining any sort of standard. We didn't stay the night. We picked up our bags, returned the keys to the front desk, and told them there was absolutely no way we could stay in a place like this. It was that bad.

However I am surprised they never offered a discount or any kind of "for your troubles" thing. 1st- the lobby was okay and the staff was nice but the carpet in the hallways and the elevator were dirty. 2nd - When I got to my room there was no remote so as I look for it and instead found garbage and a lot of dust behind the dresser and under the bed, against the walls. 3rd- There was some kind of something in the air that burned my eyes, but only while I was in the room, not outside or in the main lobby or other parts of facility. When I requested a new room they didn't have any. 4th- I decided I can make it work since it was only one night but then I pulled back my sheets and found dried food and sauce between the sheets and the bedspread. Of course housekeeping was gone so they just gave me an extra set of sheets. It was an uncomfortable night. This location should be reviewed by the Hilton folks. NOTE - My co-worker had no issues with his room. It looks like I just drew the short straw this time around.

Breakfast was hot and frequently being checked to see if refills of items were needed. The room was comfortable, as we were passing thru and only needed to stay for the night. Unfortunately, it appeared that our bathroom had not been cleaned. Previous persons soap still in shower and lots of hair remained in floor. So much that you could tell floor had not been cleaned and it was sticky from previous cleaning. Multiple old stains on couch that could use cleaned. No bedding such as sheets, blanket or pillows available for pull out couch for our kids. Overall, it was a good hotel, just could use better cleaning after each guest.

Excellent equipment in the gym but the bike didn't work. I asked if it could be fixed but the attendant didn't know if anyone could be called to fix it. All of the washers were out of order. I could understand if one or two were not working.... But 4?? The breakfast buffet should have a few more items such as Raisin Bran. Why not keep cups and hot water available all the time. We had 2 rooms. Irons provided in both were not up to par; one had black stuff on it. With a few changes it would be a much better place to stay

The public spaces are always clean and the staff always super friendly. They have a bar/restaurant that serves your standard offerings which when in a hurry is super helpful. The rooms however have seen a steady aging that are in need of serious updating. Interiors doors don't close all the way. Toilets bolts are often loose causing a rocking motion if not careful. During a current stay, the pair of reading lights didn't work, and the light switch by the door had black tape over it. The rooms are the truest definition of basic. Not exactly sure what's going on here but the rooms need attention.

When I arrived at my assigned room, I was surprised to find that the bed had already been slept in. I returned to the front desk to request another room and asked if there were any available on the first floor. The clerk gave me a key card without any apology and seemed more focused on whatever he was doing at a table in the lobby than on addressing my concerns. The second room--located right next to the first--was also disappointing. The dishwasher was still running with dirty dishes inside, the body wash in the shower was actually a shampoo bottle with "BW" written over the label in marker, the toilet paper holder was broken and spun in circles, the mirror was dirty, and none of the trash cans had liners properly placed inside. Breakfast was equally underwhelming: premade sandwiches, half-cooked quiche, and limited options. The only fresh item I found was a banana tucked under a juice shelf. To make matters worse, while eating I overheard a desk clerk or manager openly criticizing a guest who had experienced problems the night before. I travel monthly and almost always choose Marriott properties. For comparison, the Fairfield Inn in Olive Branch--though older and currently under renovation--has consistently provided excellent stays. This particular hotel is less than five years old, yet the quality fell far short of expectations. To top it off, I never received the usual post-stay email inviting me to share feedback. Unfortunately, this is not a property I would return to. Marriott should take a closer look at this location to ensure it meets the standards loyal members expect.
