Comfort Inn Seguin. Hotel room is dirty with broken tiles. Windows haven't been cleaned in years from the look at them. Elevator didn't work. They have one washer and one dryer that did not work for the whole hotel. I would jot recommend stating here. read more

The place is dirty, has poor customer service and even the carpet in the hall is peeling up. The beds are old and hurt your back. There is hair and grime in the bathroom corners. The front desk manager is so rude and told us not to steal the cart carrying our luggage. Ridiculous! It's just dated and you get what you pay for! read more

You pay for what you get of course , but the weekend I stayed at this location. I can tell they jacked up the price because there were a lot of people in town for the regional AAU track and field competition that took place at the local high school. 360$ of straight trash 1. The room was dirty, I inspect everything. There was hair all over the beds. 2. The room had mold and very humid. The ac barely worked. 3. They ran out of towels so the front desk basically was like "oh well" 4. The hotel smells like a geriatrics clinic. 6. The TV was old ... very 1992 7. Don't slip and fall after a shower, the exhaust doesn't work so the moisture stayed in the bathroom until the next day. 5. Again if it's last resort ... maybe , but there are better hotels further out. We had no choice because we had to be close to the school. read more

This place is a dump. Dirty, has a terrible odor throughout the place. All but one staff member are completely unhelpful. Our refrigerator leaked all over the floor, toilet ran all the time and wouldn't flush. Manager-owner are rude and incompetent. Will never book here again. We stay in Seguin often for work and this was by far the worst stay we've experienced. The rooms we were assigned had significant water damage, smelled musty and mildewy and was dirty. We were denied a change of rooms and since we had prebooked/ prepaid we were denied a refund. DO NOT make the same mistake!!! read more

I wish there was a "NO STAR" on Yelp! Staff spoke 2 sentences the while time we were checking in. Gave us the key and told us what time breakfast is on the morning. Wow! Her job could've been done by a robot if she was just gonna do that. 3rd floor smells like cigarettes as soon as you walk out of the elevator. Don't stay in room 309. Have ants in the bathroom. And the door is RED!! What are you, the devil worshipper? The second room they gave us smells like old carpet. One of the face towels hanging in the bathroom is YELLOW! This place is so disgusting! Bed sheets and curtains have multiple stains on them. Countertops are dirty and there's dust and spider webs all over the place! This place is trash. the carpet floor was soooooo gross and sticky feeling. The sink was leaking out of the pipes and on to the floor every time I went to go use the sink. The old window AC unit either made the room way way way too cold or made the room stuffy! The maids starting cleaning at 7am and slammed every single God damed door on their way out of each room! wow! so inconsiderate!!! Also, the front desk lady informed me that there would be pastries, juice and MILK available for breakfast in the morning. si I go in here and I am in outside sales so try to find the best for my value. It was nice BUT...please see the BUT. great lady at front and very pleasant. Good check in and some older people were here that had already checked in....very very pleasant lady working here. I checked in then went to gas station and some nice restaurants are walking distance. but when i came back there was a guy sitting in the dark in the area for breakfast. they have no bar but were obviously drinking. maybe not the lady but the manager (I think) and this guy from the dark. it was unsettling to say the least. there are 4 or 5 other better places to stay around here within blocks and i will do so moving forward. it was kind of scary because the drunk guy that was and looked and sounded like a local guy hanging out at the hotel was kind of weird and not kool. as i got on the elevator i tried to be cordial and ask how things were going...they answered good!!!! i said i am from western canada and like this cold weather then this guy, local guy, say "what did he fucken say?" liquor, drunk and no place for anyone of these locals to go to a local hotel at all as these are made for comfort and travelers not local drunks. No problems happened but now I won't eat to go down stairs or to restaurants or store without worrying about this random guy that is drunk and "seems" to be local, looking for confrontation and not a customer but friends with people that work here. not the right way to conduct a hotel business. Other than all that everything else was really nice but wow. Just locals infiltrating a business and that is not right as it can affect the comfort of customers paying for a place to stay in comfort.....not comfortable at all. going next door next time. Clean, nice front desk employees, free continental breakfast, carpet was clean,comfy beds. Only complaint is the bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working. Nice place to stay that is close to New Braunfels without having to pay more. read more

So here's the deal. If I could give it stars on cleanliness alone, I'd give it a 4. This review is not about the facility itself, rather the service. When we come to town we typically stay with my sister, however, since it was Christmas, we decided to book a hotel. It was rather frustrating to see that not everyone was in the holiday spirit. We had a receptionist, named Vera, who consistently remarked that our attitudes needed to be adjusted and "hoped we had a better attitude, today." I understand sometimes people can be frustrated, but it was the daily sarcasm and attitude we received from this employee that caused us to have a distaste for this hotel and consequently, the hotel chain. When we went to look at another hotel, we noted that our credit card had already been charged for the week. This left a distaste as well since we hadn't stayed but one night! I am very displeased by this service and will not be staying here again. read more

Front desk was decent they basically read you a script and send you on your way but we were able to get settled in with no problems. The room was decent and the appliances didn't work. We ended up staying here last minute because of the area we needed to stay close by. The next morning my husband went down to get me and our toddler breakfast and had the worst experience the staff was rude and unfriendly, they started cleaning up when he was trying to get us something to eat and the woman started putting everything up like she didn't see him trying to get food. Very rude I wouldn't stay here again. We only stayed here because it was the closest location. read more

I found the employees were good, the food was ok. And the WiFi was not working. I noticed the locals have free reign on the pool. My shocker was I was charged $50 extra for a small dog. I have stayed at Choice Hotels before with the 10 lb dog because they were Pet Friendly. Well this one was not. I rechecked the website and found no indication of pets or no pets. Clean, comfy bed but staff was not knowledgeable. I checked in late Friday night and the only person working had no idea how to take my payment since I booked through hotels.com. I made 2 separate reservations for a total of 2 rooms, but when I checked my bank statement a week later I was charged for 3 rooms. I called the and spoke to the manager who told me the 3rd charged was reversed. I was never told the night I checked in that an extra charge was placed on my card, but was being reversed. The manager was unapologetic and rushed me off the phone. I would not stay here again solely based on the staff. read more

Stayed there 3 nights, it is small rooms, the fridge leaked the first night and not the other nights, weird. The maintenance guy came to fix it, did nothing. He said to keep a towel in front of it and that some refrigerators in some rooms do that and they don't know why. But it didn't do it any other day. The floor in front of it was really sticky, I went to the front desk and I asked for a mop to clean it. The gal there said they can only give me a towel to try to wipe it as they don't use mops there, only swiffers. That was odd too. The morning gal that does the breakfast stuff needs to spend more time in the breakfast area keeping things filled rather than spending the majority of the time at the front desk talking with the front desk lady about their jobs and co-workers. The room had a fridge, a microwave and a coffee pot. The ENTIRE hotel is non-smoking according to a sign up in the lobby. Overall, a good night's sleep, and it wouldn't bother me to stay there again. But three stars is generous. 2.5 stars would be more accurate. read more
