This place was a dump. The front desk girl Robin had an attitude and could not believe that I would ask for my room to be cleaned daily. Ever since I requested that the day, she couldn't find it in herself to lift her head or even acknowledge in the morning. That would not be who I would have as the first person greeting guests I probably would never have asked for daily clean, but the floors were dirty with shoe prints by the sink and the restroom itself when we checked in, the sheets were shredded on one side, plus there was the mold in the shower. It just was a very uninviting room. The desk chair was torn, the sofa bed broken. This place needs a remodel or to be demolished. Cringy all around. read more

Norman at that front desk is absolutely unprofessional. While i was checking in he felt the need to attempt to raise his voice at my child for asking questions. When I told him not to talk to my children he had the nerve to refuse my reservation. I have stayed at this hotel many times and never had any issues. We have stayed at this hotel numerous times when we come to visit family. This will probably be our last stay. We booked directly through the hotel as it was cheaper than the apps. The wi-fi is slow and an open connection. We specifically asked them to put us on an end and away from families/children or an elevator. They put us on the side next to Galaxy. They have had a live band, and the noise travels until about 2 am. The room next to us had a party from 1130pm-430am. We called the desk to let them know, but nothing was done about it. We requested the manager to call us. I had to stop at the desk twice to ask why the manager had not called yet. He finally called and told us they asked the people to keep it down. Ok, cool. Then call the police even if it doesn't stop. He offered us 2,000 points. 1 night stay is 18,000 points. What an insult. I asked for a refund for 1 night since we got no sleep and stayed a total of 6 nights. He then offered to refund half a night. The hotel is finally quiet, and we decide to head to the jacuzzi. It's closed due to maintenance. I think next time we will head to a different hotel. We had a family reunion, and we had a row of rooms. I will bring all those people with me as well. read more

We are Choice Privileges members for many years, and try to stick with this chain to accumulate their points. For a recent weekend road trip to the Cleveland area, we went with this Comfort Inn location. Although it was farther from the city than we preferred, (we were in town for a couple of Cavs games and to go to The Cleveland Museum of Art), Choice Hotels chain options are limited in the Cleveland area that included an indoor pool and have suite-style rooms. Our kids demand a pool, and we prefer the extra space of a suite, so we ended up here, about 40 minutes south of Cleveland. We stayed in a two room suite, which had an unexpected bonus half-bathroom. Nice perk for our family of four! The sitting room had a desk, couch, chair/ottoman, and kitchenette with a sink, microwave, and mini-fridge. The bedroom had two queen beds. Each room had its own TV. The main bathroom was spacious, with the tub/shower and toilet in a separate closable room. Overall it was a very clean and spacious suite for our family. My family slept well, but as for me, I was not comfortable in the mattresses here. They were way too firm for my liking. My back and hip did not agree with me in the AM, just too hard of a bed IMHO. If you prefer a firm mattress, you will like it here. The stars of the show of this hotel for our family were definitely the indoor pool and arcade. The pool area had a hot tub and a small splash pad. Our kids had a blast there. The arcade was a nice touch, too. Several of the games were broken, but enough worked to have some fun there. The breakfast here was just meh', but I don't fault the hotel, as all hotel breakfasts have become pretty meh' since the pandemic happened. There was only coffee, juice, and handheld fruit and grab-and-go microwavable Jimmy Dean sandwiches. Gone are the days, at least for now, of full breakfast buffets. :-( Our family was generally pleased with this Comfort Inn hotel. Friendly front desk staff, plenty of free parking, easy in-and-out off of the highway, many fast-food and dining options, some within walking distance of the hotel, and not too terribly far from Cleveland proper. When we stay in the Cleveland area in the future and require accommodations with an indoor pool, we'd consider Comfort Inn Wadsworth again. read more

This hotel was fine for a stay. There were some things about it I liked, but also a few things I thought they could either do better or that I've seen better at similar hotels. The staff here are friendly, and check-in and check-out were easy. The breakfast area and adjacent lounge area (with nice sofas) easily accommodated everyone. My bed was comfortable. I was told by another acquaintance staying there that there is a large jacuzzi next to the indoor pool, though I didn't have a chance to try either. On the flip side, the rooms could be quieter. I could hear conversations in the rooms on either side. Plus, if you're on the south end of the building, you can hear everything driving by on I-76. Some people don't mind that and actually like it as background sound. If you don't, try for a room on the north end, or provide your own background sounds. But don't rely on the fan for that. There is no "fan only" option, so the fan is intermittent. I also had a lot of trouble getting the temperature to level out at a comfortable setting, having to get up roughly twice each night to adjust it. Breakfast included scrambled eggs (powdered and watery), and typically either sausage links or biscuits and gravy. Coffee was good and strong. There were several types of cereal, though I thought they were slightly stale. You can make 2 types of waffles. There were English muffins, bread, jellies, and pastries, but I could not find bagels, cream cheese, or butter. You've got quite a few dining options locally, including the Galaxy Restaurant next door, a Bob Evans on the other side, a Mexican restaurant within walking distance, and numerous fast food chains nearby. read more

The Assistant Manager for this hotel is a complete unreasonable jerk. Due to him this hotel does not even deserve one star!! He is rude, unprofessional, and a complete piece of dirt. He should not be in the customer service industry. He makes the rules up as he deems necessary. I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express right next door and have never had any issues. My husband and I booked this Hotel for our wedding in July 2019! He is from Cincinnati & we had many out of town guests. We were able to tour a variety of rooms & they all appeared newly renovated, VERY CLEAN, wonderful variety(double queen, king, suites etc) that were ideal for getting ready and spacious for multiple night stays! The newly added splash pad, pool area and little arcade room was perfect for out of town guests with kiddos and our ring bearer/flower girl. We had wonderful service all around! Christina Rock went above and beyond and was excellent to work with, making sure everything was right on track throughout it all. We were given a link to put on our website for easy booking access, inserts for invitations, etc. In total we had guests from 18 different states fly in. This location was worth every penny! It was conveniently located by the highway, we purchased round trip shuttles to transport the wedding party (guys/gals) to church, salon etc morning of. After the wedding at the Galaxy Banquet Center next door, guests LOVED that we invited them into our suite with a large table, private bar area, couch's etc. Next door (at the Galaxy) guests were also able to enjoy the sports bar and outdoor patio as well. The morning after our wedding, we rented a private room (the Wadsworth room) and opted to have a more intimate space for our wedding guests to enjoy breakfast. The continental breakfast from the lobby was delicious and included a large variety of options! Would absolutely stay here again! Can't thank the staff enough for their level or professionalism and commitment to making our big day perfect! 5/5 stars! read more

I stayed at this hotel when I was in town for a family funeral. First off they have a bereavement rate which I thought was pretty nice. The rooms were all super spacious and equipped with a really nice fridge. I got a room with 2 queen beds and they were really comfortable! I liked how the sink area was separate from the bathroom so if someone wanted to get ready while the other was in the restroom or shower they could. The breakfast in the lobby was good with waffles and eggs and everything else were fresh and hot. The hotel also has a pool and hot tub I didn't get to partake in but looked really nice. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in town, hopefully under better circumstances. read more

Ah, old faithful. After a terrible night at the hotel on the other side of the Galaxy, we came over to the Comfort Inn to finally get some rest. The person taking my reservation was very understanding and empathetic and got us a room on the fifth floor to ensure there'd be no one above us. Our single king bed room was bigger, had a couch, had a larger TV, and was cheaper than the previous hotel. Also, the pool and gym were open. The breakfast options weren't great, but that's been the case at every hotel since the pandemic began. The WiFi could've been better and room service knocked on our door at 8 a.m. despite us having the do not disturb tag on the door handle. Maybe we should've put it in the key slot, so maybe that's on us. All in all, so glad we ended up at the Comfort Inn and really appreciate their accommodations and understanding. It's where we'll be staying every time we come back to visit family. read more

Absolutely the worst hotel! First you have to pay 50$ for a wrist band to be able to swim in the pool or to be in the swimming area. We had family in that consist of 8 kids under 10 years old that could not have an adult with them because we didn't have a wristband! They came in to do a wristband check and kicked us adults out of the area but the kids could stay with no adults watching them, what?? how does that make sense!?!! I have never felt so targeted, so attacked than at this hotel the staff made rude comments and would continuously make the point to come yell at us for things that we didn't do! there was a separate family that had a child and they broke a machine while we were not even there at that time and tried to blame us for it! We had to literally tell them to check the cameras to get out of paying for the broken machine. I would not recommend. read more

This hotel was very easy on and off highway, very clean, staff friendly and breakfast buffet was wonderful. Wish we'd known pool was under construction but should be done shortly they tell us, and also if you are short, beds are higher than normal. Decent room to start with but the shower had mold in it. Went to the front desk and got cleaner to clean it myself and they were unpaused. Showed them a picture and all they said was yes that is disgusting. WiFi down for an entire day and the receptionist said no one else complained, then another person in the lobby goes I said something three times. read more

This is one of the best Comfort Inns I have stayed in. The room was clean, had comfortable beds and a great assortment of pillows. It was not a suite but a nice standard room. We told the desk clerk that there was water on the elevator floor at 1:30am.. She made no comment or reply that she would take care of it. We told her two additional times and she just ignored us. We have been staying here every Memorial Day weekend for family functions. We always get a block of four rooms. The staff at this hotel has always been very helpful. Early check in times, calling to confirm a few weeks ahead and late check outs have become the norm. The rooms have always been clean and ready when we need. We have never had a problem here and they even put up with our constant loss of room keys. We are huge fans and will continue to stay here every Memorial Day. Great hotel. read more

Would really give it 4.75 stars. We stayed here last night on our way out east... nice hotel for $$. We are a large family (7) and the suite was perfect. Comfy beds, a bathroom and 1/2, which was super nice with 3 boys! Breakfast was good in the morning. The kids loved the biscuits and gravy, waffle maker and juices. I think they sampled them all. Staff was friendly. Check-in/out easy. 4.75 stars for not so good in room WiFi. We were able to connect at night however wouldn't connect at all in the morning to any device we had. Nice, renovated hotel. Decent free breakfast. Clean. So, why only 2 stars? The hotel owns a banquet hall next door (The Galaxy). On Saturday nights in the summer they appear to act as a bar with a live band outside on the hotel side. It was unreasonably loud and when I went down to the front desk they just wrote down our name on a list and said they couldn't do anything. It is obviously a known problem because the form they wrote my name on had "Galaxy noise complaints" pre-printed on the top. read more

One of the few hotels with a true suite - separate room with king bed and full bath and the living room has a pull out sofa. Perfect when traveling with kids!
