Filthy rooms!!!! Drapes and ceilings were heavily stained. When our room was changed to a "cleaner room," across the hallway, the bathroom door handle fell off onto the floor. Maintenance guy showed up a few hours later to fix the bathroom door handle. When I complained to the front desk, the Young man at the front desk offered a full refund, however the hotel manager later said that he wasn't authorized to do so. We will not be returning!!! I had an overall good experience during my stay. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The hotel room had a microwave and mini fridge. I received good customer service from the front desk employee during my time checking in and checking out. Kenric (the front desk guy) is seriously one of the nicest men I have ever met. I had traveled several hours and arrived early. He was so kind to get me. I arrived a few hours early and he could tell I was totally exhausted. He allowed me to check in early so I can take a nap before my important event that evening. Then the next day he went out of his way to help me print an important document. You don't find stuff like that anymore. The beds are why I love to stay at Comfort Inn. The only reason I gave it a four-star is because the hotel is getting a bit outdated. But under no circumstances, is that an issue on the staff side. read more

Front desk clerk was having a awful night . A whole floor was flooding when we got there. He was stressed and guest were lined up out the door. Breakfast was ok. Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches and prewrapped danish and donuts . A women and her children took all of the coffee donuts and had about 15 packs on the table just waiting for it to be refilled to take more . Disgusting how people act . The BS "covid" excuses to ??? The room was filthy. The room spelled because of carpet freshener put behind the bed. There was trash behind the beds, tables & by the air conditioning unit. The bathroom sink had built up scum around the faucet. Check out time on reservation & policy was 12:00pm but I was made to leave at 11:00am "covid". Was "covid" going to attack me at 12 because it knows the difference between 11am & 12 pm. Filthy, smelly, absolutely no extra towels, paid to check out at noon but forced to leave at 11am. This is absolutely one of the most disgusting hotels my family and I have ever stayed in. The security is zero! The patio door to the balcony did not even have a handle on it. The suite we stayed in was far from being a suite. There was no toilet paper, and the Kleenex box had a total of 2 Kleenex in it. The pull away bed in the "so called suite" did not have any blankets, sheets, or pillows for our daughter, and it took 45 minutes to get them for us. How in the world are the reviews for this hotel rated at 3, and 4 star?? If we weren't in a bind because there were no other hotels available due to the LSU vs Army football game, we would have went elsewhere in a minute! I've stayed here several times due to my job taking me to the area. The hotel is what you'd expect from a Comfort Inn. A decent room, clean and at a reasonable price. The rooms are decent sized. The bed is large and has 5 pillows(2 soft and 3 firm). The room has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and ironing board. The bathroom is completely seperate with the vanity inside the bathroom itself. So no showering while the lady friend gets her makeup on. (Not that that matters to me since it's all about business, just an observation though.) There is a decent hot breakfast in the morning(eggs and sausage) also a bunch of fruit, cereal, juices, muffins and doughnuts. The staff is friendly, there's a small workout room, but no pool. The location is right off College St and that means weird traffic patterns that will piss you off the 1st time you try to turn left. I can't explain it, just know you'll figure it out. 3 stars because I said the word decent too many times for it to be more than that. read more

Hotel was great! Staff was friendly! Baton Rouge shut down all the bridges that led to Texas and we got trapped in traffic for about 12 hours! Pretty gnarly, huh? I asked a cop what we should do and he was like "Psh. Get a hotel room." And we were like nah it'll pass. Guess what? It didn't. BECAUSE IT SLEETED IN LOUISIANA. Those people literally don't ever have to deal with it. Which got me thinking: Is it time for me to start thinking about moving to Louisiana? Everyone seems pretty nice. Just not very good at dumping salt on anything but COUNTRY FRIED STEAK. I took a bath in my underwear so the other guys could use the toilet and they just ended up hanging out with me in there. I tried to find Epsom salt at a nearby Trader Joe's but they only had lavender bath mix so I just did some shots and went to bed. Not before I annoyed the shit out of Jack by learning how to recreate that incredible synth in "Send it up" by Kanye. There's really not a lot you can do with the software synths to make it as cool/varied but by automating a triangle wave and an additive octave oscillator to have the attack vary by an octave in the first millisecond or two in the attack I got a similar effect. Massive worked out great for it. Shit sounds straight up like a pitch modded air horn, though. God I love air horns. I should just play one for my band. Pretty much the same effect of what I got going on now. But yeah, definitely put more air horn in your music. What we've been doing lately is having our TM plug the headphone line of his iPhone into the front of house and whenever kids start moshing all ignorant he starts hitting the air horn with an app he got. Solid 4 stars. Nice hotel with a better than average breakfast. We stayed on our way to Florida, and then again on our return trip. Both rooms were clean and comfortable, staff friendly, and the hotel is a decent value, considering it's right off I-10 in an area of town with a lot of hotels nearby. Only real knock against it is they don't have a pool. But there is a small fitness center. Also, be careful when you get off the freeway, it's not hard to get to, but you do need to pay attention since Constitution runs so close (parallel) to the freeway. BTW, Baton Rouge is a nice city, big enough to have everything, but not so big as for things to be far away. There's nothing for quite a while - except a swamp - once you get west of it, so a good place to stop on a road trip. read more

This is the friendliest staff I've ever encountered! Anytime I come here I'm greeted with the utmost respect and appreciation! I get a goodie bag for being a choice rewards member (none of the other choice hotels have ever given me anything.) I request the 3rd floor for the ice and vending machine and request to be away from the elevator. You can tell the building is a little outdated but they have done some updates. As long as it looks and smells clean, I'm good! The beds are comfy, the breakfast is decent and the price is cheap. I usually pay $70 for a room with a living room area and a king bed. I stay at this hotel for the location because I like going downtown or to L'auberge casino. Apparently people crowd this hotel for Lsu home games so prices may double! read more

My mother squished one before it could moved, it was ALIVE, and had bitten recently The only reasons we stayed was because it was one night, it was past midnight, and they did give us a new room. The first room they had didn't have a blanket for the person sleeping on the couch, and the bed that would've been my sister's was full of dust. We compared all three things that I've attached as pictures, and there was a drastic difference, as in, the new room had been cleaned recently. read more

The was a very clean and reasonably priced hotel in a great area of Baton Rouge - right off of College and I-10. The room was clean and spacious. They have free wi-fi and parking, which helps. They also have a free breakfast - waffles, ceral, fruit, muffins, coffee and cookies at check-in. I thought for $80/night it was a good value - considering the area. The staff was professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend to those passing through Baton Rouge. read more

I don't even know where to start. If I could give zero stars I would. I had a group of 30 staying at this hotel and we booked months in advance. We get there to check in and it took a whole hour.... had reservations, paid online, and when we get to the hotel MANY problems. The front desk staff is NO HELP if a problem happens. They will not and can not help you.... nor will they let you talk to upper management. I would rather pay more at Embassy Suites next door than go through what I did with the checking in alone. They will tell you that you didn't pay and try to keep charging your card. When we finally got to the rooms.... was not impressed. The toilets had trash in them. There is no problem with the hotel or the staff. This review is strictly for the general manager. The GM refused all contact with me over an issue covering a number of weeks. I tried to get a hold of the GM via phone from home, in person in the lobby (three times) and via a survey Comfort Inn sent me after our trip was over. OK hotel. Easy to find. Parking is on the sides of the building. We worried about how secure our car was. There was a lot of people milling about in the evening. Probably due to the hotel right next door and because it was a Friday night in Baton Rouge. Clerk was nice and friendly. When we opened the door to our room the tv was already on, the bed was not made, and the bathroom was not cleaned. The clerk apologized and gave us an upgraded room. The new room was ok. The bathroom was ok. The bed and pillows were ok. Wifi was good. Breakfast was ok. The breakfast lady was not friendly but ok. Not nearly as nice as other comfort inns we have stayed in. I have stayed at more hotels in my life than I can count and I never expect much more than a simple check in and a clean bed. However, our experience at this hotel was so terrible that I have downloaded yelp for the first time ever so that people do not have to go through what we did. We reserved our rooms months in advance and yet it still took us nearly an hour to check in due to the hotel losing our reservation. Not only that, but the hotel has charged us over 13 times in the past two days for rooms that we payed for when we first reserved. We were staying for two days and after fighting to keep our reservations for the first day, the front desk tried to almost triple our previous rate for the second night. There are far more other reasons that made this stay the worst hotel I've ever been to, but I am tired of typing this. From the minute we stepped into the lobby to the minute we checked out has been an incredibly stressful situation. There are numerous better hotels right next door to this one that I recommend far more. read more
