Thank you Hannah for all the great info!

Thank you Hilton for a great stay! I love Hannah and Dave at the bar! I really appreciate the shuttle bus drivers and Stacie for making our stay extra special! I'm looking forward to the speakeasy tonite. They give you clues how to find it in the hotel. The breakfast was good, but the service could use some improvement! My room was super nice 312 and the view was great! Loved watching the tugboats and barges. The sunset was breathtaking the first night and the pool roof is super nice! If you are thinking about where to stay in downtown Baton Rouge there is only one place - right here!!!

The hotel is beautiful. It has enough room for a conference and to host whatever event you need. The rooms are reasonably sized and clean. The gym is small but it's does what it needs to do. I am very pleased with my stay. It is the second time I have stayed there. The staff was friendly and ensuring you had a pleasant stay. It was great. Location is a wonderful plus. Stay and have a wonderful, peaceful, and safe stay.

Never felt catfished by a hotel before, but it was catfish galore! The pictures you see are not what you're gonna get at all. They show bathtubs that you won't get. The photos look so posh, but in real life, it just knows her angles. I ordered room service, and it was uneditable. Don't get the Caesar salad; it's drenched in dressing. I'm not sure what the mashed potatoes are, but they are definitely not potatoes. With all that said, I loved the pool. She was the real deal! Small, but a sunset in the pool is so divine. I adored my windows and view--I paid extra for that! I was ready to give this place a 3, but then I had the staff hold my bags while I ate. When I came back, the front desk staff was being awful to a customer in front of me, giving him attitude about "there are no balconies for you.... If you get that room we don't have it. So I am going to send it back anyway." Being in customer service you could be a little kind, but her tone made everything uncomfortable. Three of us in line just looked away. After witnessing her berate him for ten minutes, it was my turn to get my bags. When I asked her for them, she took my ticket and didn't say a word. She just started texting, then put her phone down and said, "I just texted him; I can't help you." I was like, okay? I waited another ten minutes just to get my bag. I asked three other people for help because no one came. Finally, someone got my bags--a lady who said she was off but was still kind enough to help. If you hate people, go work at the DMV, where we expect people to be mean. I paid close to two bills for this, and honestly, the service I got, it wasn't worth one.

Came in at 2 am after a 7 hour drive, found the staff was very friendly from valet to checking in and out. The location was great. Love they are pet friendly and that they have pet treats at the front desk. Now what's not so great is that this hotel is much older and is in need of renovations. All the elevators, hallway on the 6th floor and even our room had a bad odor to them.

    Love it here

Run down, everything is broken and the ac in the room produces a horrible odor and noise! We complained, no comparable room was available and only a $25 discount was offered. Avoid this place.

Visiting Baton Rouge for a wedding, I had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton in downtown Baton Rouge.

As a Bonvoy Gold member, I received plenty of snacks and drinks as a warm welcome, which I appreciated. I do not often see hotels go above and beyond the way TownePlace Suites did. The rooms were freshly cleaned and organized, which was great, but the two air conditioner controls were a bit perplexing. I had to find the controls, though there was a note saying they were by the back of the window. Removing the redundant climate control by the front door would be useful and would reduce confusion. I had a pleasurable stay, and the breakfast bar was really good with a quick-make waffle machine and stellar options. I will consider staying at another TownePlace Suites property in the near future.

We are one family of the many thousands that have come through Louisiana to be able to attend and participate in the 2025 USBC Open Championships, a nationwide bowling tournament. She is so sweet and so polite. We asked her for many food recommendations, and all of the spots that she named were phenomenal. Now, we are not from here. So, maybe our idea of what is phenomenal to us may not be the same for others. But I can guarantee you one thing, The food places that were suggested to us not only served great food, but also they served up GR8 service. Everybody's attitudes were so enthusiastic and positive. Not to mention, we are in the south, everyone was so polite. There really is such a thing still as southern comfort and southern hospitality. We received both by staying here, at this hotel. This hotel was definitely clean and comfortable, well lit, and not super modern, but definitely not at all close to being outdated. I like that the pool area is open fairly late into the day and that towels and things are removed constantly. The restroom and icemaker areas are clean and kept that way all throughout the day and evening. The breakfast varies day-to-day. For example, yesterday there were waffles and breakfast sandwiches, eggs, bacon, sausage, patties, cereal, bagels, and other bread items available in addition to four or five may be different types of milk, and two kinds of yogurt. And today, many of the same items were offered along with biscuits and gravy. Nothing about this hotel has disappointed us one bit. All of the appliances in our room are in working condition. Dish, dishwashing detergent and sponges, coffee, utensils, some basic flatware, and other dishes of various types are available. There's also a long listing of different appliances and things that are available to be borrowed from the front desk. The one that really shocked us was a rice cooker. Room rates were definitely reasonable. And even more so now that I've seen the hotel, the room that we were given, all the things. You definitely get what you pay for. I have stayed in rooms that have costed four or five even seven times more than what I paid for this one and in comparison, while this one may not seem as fancy, it definitely offered more to me and was more valuable to me because I had all the things I needed to keep my family comfortable during this trip. Oh, and did I mention? Parking here is absolutely free. The hotel is very close to the freeway on ramp as well. That makes it very nice, on and off the freeway as we please very easily. Ever you were looking for a hotel in Baton Rouge I would stay here again, without question or hesitation !

She said she had some free drink chips for drinks. Sure, it seemed as nice of a place anywhere to catch up. The hotel looks like it hasn't been updated in years, which is not a bad thing because everything looked great. It had only been years since I last been there. The Bar, however, could use a little updating. I imagined a grander hotel bar. Something Instagram whorthy, even. No such luck here. This hotel bar seemed like an afterthought, like a dive hotel bar from a movie. There's nothing wrong with that though we were just there for drinks and it's not like we haven't been to dive bars before back in our day. The bartender was way above average. Friendly, fun, very helpful. Evidently when you check into this hotel, they give you tokens for free beverages, at the bar. That's nice. They even gave me some for the road since they're not going to use them. My friend did, that is. You could order food in this bar. They give you a menu, it's only sheet of paper. They offer appetizers. My friends ended up getting some and said they were nice. Nothing jumped out at me though, so I cannot attest to them. I'm sure the hotel is great. I would love to stay there and they were happy with their rooms. There was a big event or something going on the same night. I was there. A bunch of high school kids running around in costumes. Good for them. Seemed fun. This hotel bar needs updating. It's nothing to write home about maybe it wasn't meant to be. Maybe we're lucky. It's there at all.
