Been dealing with Comfort Pro for few years. Always for most part had very good service on all 3 of our units under contract. On Sunday, 2/8/26 during the extreme cold spell we experienced an issue with one of the units. Seemed that maybe Comfort Pro was having an issue for on-call tech. Tech showed up and checked our unit, advising that it was functioning properly and did readjust the gas valve, and departed. I had another HVAC company respond to check the unit. He said he smelled gas and found that gas line from gas valve to the line leading to the burners was leaking. I took picture of the fluid bubbling up after he sprayed it. Tech told me that the leak could have caused a terrible fire mishap, especially next to the burners. He corrected the issue and the furnace is presently back up to proper heating condition. He said the burners may not have been getting enough gas since it was leaking. We will be calling Comfort Pro on Monday! Should have techs better trained for these situations. read more

We had an amazing experience from start to finish! We knew that we were going to have to replace our 40 year heat pump. Ben came out to discuss our options and we were given some great ideas. Ben followed up, answered more questions and we then made our appointment for the new installation. The technicians arrived right on time, did their thing outside and in the basement. Touched base with us a few times during the day. When the installation was complete they went over the operation of the unit. We couldn't have asked for a smoother install! I don't understand all the negative reviews. I've had ComfortPro out 3 times for things at my house.. First time, they came out because our AC wasnt working right. The guy told us he could either charge us $450 because it was neglected maintenance, or if we signed up for a one year contract, we could get our furnace cleaned as well, and pay $200 less in total. Second time they came out for the furnace cleaning and actually showed us a few things that we could do to have a better running furnace/hvac system. Third time was today. I saw water under my furnace. Tech was in the house... ID'd the problem, and had the issue fixed within an hour. I dont have much to compare them to price wise, but the service has been great so far. read more

They installed a new heater and A/C system then installed a 4 in filter with a carbon top and when they opened it therebknofe or blade cut the filter so when installed the carbon came out from every vent and is now all over my house on every wall and ceiling a coating of black carbon when I bought the house it was freshly painted 1 year before install..! they at first admitted and said they would get back to me and they never did so I had them come out for a service call and the manager stole the filter evidence and I had to kick them out.!! brand new home and system and they screwed me left me to spend $10,000 to repaint my home on the inside!!! Made appointment to have our furness cleaned. Tech showed up. Very nice guy. After a few minutes checking the furness he comes back up w an estimate of $1400 for needed repairs. He also suggested that we should consider replacing the furness. We told him that we would need time to digest the estimate. He said that he will still need to charge for the cleaning even though he didn't clean the furness. We the called another company. They came out, inspected the furness, cleaned it and reported back that the furness was in safe operating condition. read more

The 4 men who installed a new water heater and a new furnace were fabulously courteous and beyond efficient. I cant really say enough good things about their work. They even cleaned up to the point I had absolutely no further cleaning to do! That is something I have never experienced in my life (and I am 57 years old). Those who did the work at my home were Darnell, Cortez, Darrick, and Shane. Obviously I highly recommend them. My 4 dogs liked them as well which says a lot. read more

We called to have our AC repaired. They took over a week to come to our home only to spend 15 minutes to analyze it he said and then left. Couldn't come back for 10 days. There was a heat wave expected in a few days and they thought taking 17 days to come fix it was good service. We didn't wait those days, we found someone else who came that very evening we called. He fixed it in about 1 hour. The part that really makes me mad is that over the past 5 years we have spent over $10,000 for new AC and furnace installs from ComfortPro. When we called to cancel the second appointment, we were told that they would be sending us a $100 bill for the service call. I'll be sending that right out the second Tuesday of next week. read more

Horrible service. Every time I call the technician always says they can't get to me today. I planned on using them for my newly purchased property but based on my experience they can't service me cause they obviously don't have enough help. Over the winter my heater was not working, a tech arrived said nothing was wrong. One hour later it was not working again he had to come back and stated it was a filter issue. Problem still exists and it's not a filter issue. 30 days later I had to call again and technician said he wouldn't have any parts to fix it anyway. Say what? How would he know it needed parts if he never came to look at it? Today I called about hot water heater and this technician said I can't get to you today as I'm the only one working. What? He then asked me if I had a service contract but I was never offered one. He then says if you had a service contract I would get to you. I called UGI who is sending a tech within the hour. That's good service!! I need new duct work and central Ac but comfort pro company will not be getting my business. They can throw any quotes they gave me in the trash. read more

Jake from Comfort Pro was awesome! He arrived on time and showed respect for my home by placing shoe covers on as soon as he walked in. He also serviced my heating/AC unit in a timely fashion and took the time to explain the service he performed and also answered some questions I had about the possibility of replacing my furnace, as it's nearly 20 years old. I've dealt with Comfort Pro for several years now and they've never let me down. One of their technicians even came out to our home in the blizzard of 2016 to fix our furnace when we had no heat, which was especially helpful to my family as we had a newborn baby in the house at that time. They replaced a part on my a/c. That the part it's about $15. And was charged over $245 for a $15 part. Plus over $$115 to come out. Over $90 for less then a pound of frig Gas. Total time repair was less then 30 min. I called to work out a better price because the part it's only a $15 part. They said. Well yes the part is a $15 part and we got you for over $245. I never felt so robbed in my life. read more

Very unhappy with this company. We replaced ourheater 5 yrs ago, converting to gas. They are their every year to collect their check for yearly contract. But call them if your 5yr old heater isnt working and you sit and wait! When they finally show up , not helpful. Today I am sitting in a 50 degree house waiting for a service tech to show up. I bought this water heater through Lowe's and these guys are installing it I was trying not to even deal with them so here I am dealing with them in a roundabout way and they are late again. Worst experience really. I called them to service my gas heater but the repairman wasn't sure whether there was a "crack" in the unit or not. It didn't sound right to me so I had a UGI professional take a look. He red-tagged the furnace e.g. he found a "critical safety problem" with the unit, "usually a cracked or damaged heat exchanger" and determined that the furnace must be shut down until the damage is repaired or the furnace replaced. and said ComfortPro should've done the same. read more

I purchased my central air unit from this company a few years back. Now it's not working too well and I tried to set up an appointment but was told unless I give them credit card info over the phone they won't make an appointment. Even though I had no intention of paying with a credit card they refused to make the appointment. Seems that this company has gone downhill since they sold me my system. I would normally never give 5 stars, but this company excels! I started using comfort pro when my air conditioner died about 6 years ago, they treated me with urgency and respect. I replaced both the heater and air conditioner with the service agreement, comfort pro sends reminders to schedule the service on both units. When the technicians come to my home they are always on time and always wear protective cloths on their shoes. They explain everything they do to the units and leave everything the way they found it. I work weird hours and scheduling appointments can be hard they always accommodate my schedule with a friendly receptionist. One more thing I have never waited on hold when I call in they value their customers! read more

I signed up for the AC maintenance check program. They come out to check equipment 2x per year. First time came out- next day I hear noise in the air ducts I never heard before, called them back, get the obnoxious problem solver guy who tells me its completely unrelated and wanted to rip up ceiling to "maybe" figure out why I hear a rattling noise I never heard before- plus charge me to do that. I don't believe in coincidences. However part two, so they come back for the 2nd service check 6 months later and day one all is well. Now day 2, I have no hot water. They were here for the AC unit but now as soon as he leaves my 5 year old water heater isn't working. Same obnoxious mr fix it guy comes out, taps on the side of the heater and tells me $281..... WTF. Said part needs to be replaced and part is under warranty but labor isn't. Warranty or not, I will call someone else to come in and repair "IF" it needs to be repaired. Again he tells me another coincidence. I'm so done with this company. Very shady business tactics. One guy comes to break things and someone else comes to charge you to repair it. Will be going back to Berks Mechanical as a customer. read more

Worst experience. Installed two AC units with this company. After two years almost to the day both units needed freon recharge. Both times a technician comes out and says it could need a freon charge or could be a dirty coil, "That'll be 1800$ to clean and we'll go from there". I said no to that nonsense and cleaned the coil myself. Barely anything there. Then I called them back because the AC was still not working. Same guy comes out and says its going to be 1650$ to leak proof the system and the freon will be extra on top of that. Again, not paying that much. Two years is too soon to need freon. They want the price of a new unit to clean and leak proof a system they had installed two years ago. Will never use this company again. Maybe I'm stretching it there, but if anything their quotes are outrageous. read more

Comfort Pro installed our geothermal system, which involved complex duct work changes in an old house. We were impressed with their professionalism and exacting standards. The two technicians who performed the installation were skilled, knowledgeable, and thorough. They showed great concern for our property and overall cleanup, leaving all work areas at least as clean as they found them. We believe Comfort Pro provided excellent recommendations regarding our specific requirements and would heartily recommend the company to others. read more
