The staff here are amazing. The breakfast is good. The decor and overall appearance is nice. The luggage carts need replaced. The cleanliness could definitely be better. The bed and linens are clean and comfy. We stayed in room 236 about a week ago while visiting for work and the comforter had a huge rip in it. There was mold in the bathroom in that room as well. The couch had dirt and trash underneath it. The photos are from our most recent stay (January 28, 2026) in 211. We got the jacuzzi tub this time and unfortunately, couldn't even use it due to the mold and yuck buildup. The couch cushions have some stains on it. We didn't moved it to see underneath. We enjoyed our stay, mostly. However, we will likely stay at holiday inn next time we are in town and see how it compares. read more

This place is absolutely disgusting. It took 3 rooms before they put my daughter and her teammate in a decent room. This is the hotel you stay at if invited to the school for a tournament. Look at this, blood, poop all over the first 3 rooms. This should be a health hazard. I never seen anything like this.. Lordy. People, just don't. I'm telling you, our room had the worst smell! The place is dirty. The furniture is straight up nasty! They are working on renovations right now and the workers have to use the guest elevators so, if you refuse to take my advice to find another hotel and decide you like stinky rooms and gross sofas, expect possible delays waiting for an open elevator or take the stairs. Here's the good news- the workers are very nice! So, if they ever get this place renovated and cleaned up, it'll be a good place to stay because they really are nice. Nice, clean, and comfortable room for a good price. The staff was friendly and the check-in process was a breeze. There is only one elevator. it is slow and shared with staff and guests. My room, 324, was meticulously clean when I checked in. Internet is fast and water pressure is good. A hot breakfast is served every morning, with waffles and scrambled eggs. They seem to rotate between sausages, cocktail weenies, and biscuits & gravy each day. There is 24 hour coffee and tea, and sundries are available for sale. This facility is outside the loop on the south side of town. Access to it requires taking a u-turn on a busy US highway. read more

This past weekend, my girlfriend and I traveled to Center, Texas, for a funeral of a dear family friend. We'd been on the road all afternoon (coming from San Antonio) when we decided to use "Hotwire.com" for our hotel needs. I've had some great experiences using their "hot rates" (for those that aren't familiar - you select a hotel "blind", at a sometimes deeply discounted rate - based solely on reviews, but you don't know which hotel until AFTER booking). This particular hotel was NOT one of my better experiences. We arrived pretty late, pushing 11:00 p.m. Check in went fine; we'd just started winding down, getting in bed (both of us in nothing but our underwear and just under the covers - getting this picture?), when the fire alarm started blaring. Quickly checking the hall, I confirmed it was the WHOLE building - not just our room. We both dressed and headed downstairs when the alarm ceased. Turns out - some WINNER decided to smoke in their room - inconveniencing a hotel full of travelers. The next morning - we were BEAT. So, we explained our situation to the front desk attendant, politely asking to push the check-out time from 11a to 12p - just an hour. We didn't have to be in Center (30 miles +/- away) until 3:00p.m., had nowhere else to be, and really nowhere else to go...We honestly thought we might be able to stay in the hotel one - measley - additional hour. Silly us. DENIED. We were told the only way we could push check-out was to enroll in some special "choice rewards" membership or some such thing. Really? REALLY? I'm not saying you ALWAYS have to "break the rules" or make exceptions...but we're talking about ONE hour for a grieving couple who was in LATE the night before and had no where to be until later that afternoon... Good value for the $. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious enough for me to consider the possibility of staying for an extended period of time. Breakfast was of decent proportions (bagels, sausage, waffles, fruit, and dry cereal) as well as three different blends of coffee. The amenities of the pool area (no hot tub) plus an adjoining weight room with two machines were also quite appealing. Although the hotel is a few minutes from SFA & the heart of Nacogdoches, arriving at the front desk is interesting. There is a bit of construction going on that forces you to make an awkward U-turn in order to access the hotel. With a Sonic next door for all of you fast food aficionados with late night munchies, the Comfort Suites seems to be a pretty good option for business travel. Will be back. read more

A reservation was made in my name and using my card falsely and I called the GM (Dan) for a month before I got an answer. The lady's at the front desk supposedly gave him notes every time I called. Finally got ahold of The GM Dan he refused to give me my money because " the reservation was made to be NO CANCELLATION" I told but I didn't make book this hotel he said we are not giving you money sorry. I had a "pay upon check in" reservation scheduled for 9/23/2023 that was booked through my choice privilege app, I called on 9/15/2023 to cancel reservation due to a death in my family. I spoke with the rudest front desk person named Josh. I explained my situation and Josh placed me on hold and said he called his GM, who he also said was his best friend, and he told me that his GM (LANDON) said that I couldn't cancel my reservation and it was nothing that he could do. I told him that I would call my bank and see what my options were because I couldn't make the reservation due to a family death. i called my bank and was notified by my bank that Josh had ran my card for payment. I called back to comfort suites and Josh laughed in my ear as if it was funny to him. This Infuriated me and I was able to speak with another front desk employee named Alana. Alana was absolutely amazing and assisted me with great professionalism. she gave me all of the info that I needed to contact the asst manager to get this resolved. I was able to speak with Jessica, the following morning who was able to refund my money to my account. THANK YOU JESSICA. I also spoke with Amanda (asst manager) and everyone of them were so professional. BUT... Josh is rude, lacks professionalism and throws around the fact that he is best friends with the GM. I later called back to cancel my reservation for the meeting room ($300 for the entire day) that was scheduled for 9/24/2023 because of the experience that I encountered with Josh and his rudeness, condescending behavior and total lack of professionalism. This establishment will continue to lose business and customers if they continue to keep someone this unprofessional on staff. read more

Don't stay here. The bed was stained. The furniture looked like a bad garage sale pick. The back of the door paint was peeling off. The pillows were soiled and nasty. I would not even walk on the carpet bare foot. We asked to change rooms, the AC was not working well and while they were able to accommodate it was still disgusting. I stayed 1 night, found elsewhere the next. The hotel's network is unsecured. Do not use! The room was pretty clean but there is hair in the bathroom. The most peculiar thing is that there is no COLD water. No matter how long you run the water, it is never even remotely cool. Even the water in the toilet tank is hot. Talk about energy inefficiency. Nacogdoches, Texas If you're in search of a hotel with 'QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE'... seek life ELSEWHERE. We reserved their conference room for our son's birthday party. First of all, the air conditioner didn't work, and three hours in a crowded room makes for a miserable time. Afterward, they charged our card for the room. Normally, that wouldn't be a problem, but the room was paid 'in full' and in person when I made the reservation, several weeks prior. I called and spoke with the manager (or at least that's what she claimed to be) about why our card had yet to be credited. For being a hotel that prides themselves for "friendly staff", the "manager" couldn't have been more rude if she had tried. I understand that errors and mistakes happen, but when those errors come in the form of triple digit$, 'their' understanding ceases to exist. It's a damn shame to be treated like that. They (she) didn't consider in the least, that because of their screw up and incapabilities, certain bills go unpaid, and that's not to mention the potential delinquent penalties. This was our first AND last visit. And if, for whatever reason, anyone asks where they can find a nice room, cheap rates and quality customer service... It'll be my mission to deter all of them from this potential stay/event. I'll give my money to an establishment who gives at least half a shit. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Whatever you do not book online it is a giant scam! I made reservations five months in advance for SFASU December 2018 graduation online and the hotel automatically charges your card for the rooms you booked. If you call to make a cancelation the hotel says that they cannot cancel your reservation or give you your money back. The employees just proudly say that their own website that has their name, and their address on it has nothing to do with their own hotel or company. This is deceitful advertising and employees should not be proud of this, this is a scam to rob people of their money. Don't waist your time with these people, and drive down onto the Fredonia Hotel that is defiantly worth your time and money when visiting Nacogdoches. read more

The rooms were good, bathrooms and showers were perfectly fine. We only had a problem with the manager. We left our joint rooms the way we found them, except we sleep in the sheets and used the showers. We checked out with ease and left. But we received a call later that day saying that we will be charged with a cleaning fee because of all of the vomit on the bed in one of our rooms. None of us were sick, and none of us vomited in the room. (Our best guess is that the maid vomited, and was embarrassed, so she said she found it there. But that's just a guess.) We tried to explain this to the manager- Rene, asking her not to charge us since we did not make the mess, but she hung up on us. We then called the main company office, and they contacted Rene at the hotel. The office explained to us that Rene told them that we had apologized for our mess and accepted the cleaning charge. So she lied to the main offices. So we decided to go back to the hotel. Of course, Rene went home for the day. So the guy on duty have us a few numbers to call, and we will tomorrow. Customer service/GM-Rene at this property is the worst we have ever experienced. Never received an email confirmation, or verbal notice of cancellation time, only told verbally that it was 24 hour prior. When I called to cancel at 4:30 p.m. was told it was a 4 p.m. cutoff. Industry norm is 6 p.m. unless otherwise notified which we were not. Then they charged our credit card twice. 3rd floor, Room 337, Nov. 28, 2015 - Ceiling full of crawling bugs! Desk clerk states they are Ladybugs that "come in looking for warmth. I have them at my house." Does apologize and gives us 3rd floor, Room 319 - more bugs, this time ON the bed AND the heating a/c unit sounds like a coffee grinder when on. Desk clerk gives us 3rd floor, Room 319, NO BUGS and a/c heating unit purrs as it is brand new. Morning clerk also apologizes (not too profusely). Where is the management (that we understand is new)? How about a facilities/maintenance person that checks rooms and takes extermination measures BEFORE assigning room to guests. Would you not think that Comfort Suites would comp us the room after this ridiculous experience at 10:30 at night?
