Disappointing, we've stayed here before this time was enough to never want to stay again. We are Choice Platinum members, came down for breakfast and the place was a wreck, but 3 employees standing in the kitchen just chatting. We asked when they are going to stock the area and the response was "oh it's out"? Then one of them rolled their eyes thinking we couldn't see it. So we asked for the Manager. 5 minutes later the Manager came out and we asked her to go and look at the breakfast area and then we'll chat. She refused and apologized but without her seeing what we were talking about her apology meant nothing. Room had a non fresh odor to it. We won't be back. read more

I will defiantly be staying here any time we are in the area and I highly recommend it for anyone passing through or staying for a while. We got a room here over New Year's Eve, the front desk women was very kind and helpful at check in and check out. The room was very clean and the main beds were comfortable, our 15 yr old said the couch bed wasn't the most comfortable so I think for smaller kids it would be fine. But I think that goes for any pull out bed! Breakfast was great, we like the way they have it all set up and there was many different options for each one of us to pick from! One if the main things that stood out to me was the reaction in got when I asked what the food contains because Our youngest son is highly allergic to tree nuts and the women that is in the kitchen area was so helpful with making sure what he picked out to eat didn't have any tree nuts in it, she even brought out the bag that it comes in for me to make sure she was looking at the right area OK the labels just to reassure him that it was ok for him to eat. We have stayed at Comfort Suites often and with the high ratings of this property, I had similar expectations. The room itself was adequate, not as nice or updated as other Comfort Suites, but adequate. The sofa bed was worn, especially underneath. I wouldn't trust an adult weight on it, but it's okay for our 8 year old. We arrived late at night and went straight to bed. Fridge and microwave in the room- bonus points! Microwave is insanely low power- minus a few bonus points (took about 10 min to pop a bag of popcorn). In the morning, I yelled at my son for "missing" in the bathroom- turns out the toilet just hadn't been cleaned. That's kinda gross. Got in the shower and there was a long hair on the curtain. Also, kinda gross. Breakfast was pretty good- bonus points! We had a really long day. Came back at 10 at night- and our room hadn't been cleaned. I called the front desk to inquire, and the response was that they run out of towels, but later delivered towels to our room. That's true. They put the towels on the toilet. Not even on the rack. And the toilet still hasn't been cleaned. Needless to say, I'm pretty frustrated. And disappointed- because I know this isn't the reputation Comfort Suites has. The lack of response at the front desk, including my having to request to speak to a manager (after explaining what happened and being offered toiletries) and suggesting that perhaps they should take my cell phone number- just adds to the frustration. This place was okay. Not what I expected for the price. Went to check in and got charged twice even after asking before putting my card in if it's going to charge and they said no and in which they did. Next they gave me a room the wasn't even clean!!! The bed had no sheets and the comforter was thrown in the chair. After telling them they upgraded the room which was decent but one complaint is the bed. The bed felt like a floor, hard and stiff. Did not have a good night sleep which is not what I wanted. Not sure if I will be staying there anytime soon again. read more

Needing a quick mid-week getaway, my beau reserved us a room here. Neither of us had stayed here before, but it was in the right price range so we went for it. We left after work so by the time we got to Prescott Valley from Mesa it was past sunset. When we pulled up to the hotel is was brightly lit in a beautiful color changing scheme, making it very welcoming. The lobby was super clean and the desk staff were prompt and got us checked in quickly. Even though it was later in the day, there were still cookies available (have to love free snacks upon arrival). We were given a room on the third floor, overlooking the valley - a very nice view. The room was modern and very clean. It came with a mini fridge and microwave, which is a great feature if you are staying more than one night. There is a shoppette in the lobby that we did not use, but it looked well stocked with late night treats and forgotten sundries (those that didn't come with the room). Speaking of! On the bathroom sink they had pre-moistened makeup remover wipes. I have stayed in some very nice Hilton's that don't even come with that. The location is very nice as well. We were a quick drive to a busy plaza that had a Harkins, shopping, and restaurants. The best part about the stay was the breakfast (well, the company too but he came with me). The breakfast was set up from 6-10 and both of us were expecting your basic continental breakfast that you get at 90% of the hotels out there. We were both impressed. They had waffle irons (with plain and blueberry mixes), bagels, danishes in five flavors, omelets, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, toast, cereal, sausage (no bacon though...), and oatmeal. Plus two types of juice, milk, coffee, tea, and hot cocoa. I've had to pay for buffet breakfasts like this one in the past. It was a sweet setup. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Prescott Valley. It was great for a quick overnight, but would be ideal for a weekend or extended stay. read more

Now, hotel reuses to reimburse us for our losses!! They said their "pest guy" said to just turn up the heat in the room and it will kill the bugs. I called Truly Nolan, they said DO NOT try to recover the luggage!! Heating the room will not kill these bugs. THIS IS THE WORST WAY OF HANDLING A SITUATION!!!! This was one of the first hotels that popped up on my hotels.com search of Prescott. It's a brand new hotel at the top of a large hill and near the Liberty car dealership just off of highway 69. Turn right at the intersection where Sam's Club is on your left. You can't miss it in the dark, as it is lit up in ever-changing colors. The hotel staff we met were all as nice as could be, and the room was quite comfortable with a king size bed, a small living room with couch and over-sized chair, a flat screen TV that swiveled from bed to living room, a nice bathroom with a great shower-head, a good sized refrigerator, and a microwave. Everything was very clean, and the price was right at $89 plus tax. We arrived late and slept in, so we just missed the hot breakfast they serve from 6:30 to 9:30, but we hit the brand new Cracker Barrel at the foot of the hill. The hotel does not otherwise have a restaurant. We come to the Prescott area or to Arcosanti a few times a year, and I could see the Comfort Suites becoming our go-to place. read more

I have stayed in many hotels in my 40+ years and simply put there is no justification for such rates given such sub-par service! The rate changed 4X in a four day stay....which as far as I am concerned, boils down to one word: GREED! But how can a rate of over $100/night be justified when housekeeping is not being done....yesterday our bed was made but our towels were not replaced and the garbage was not emptied. Today our towels were replaced and our trash cans were emptied but our bed was not made!!! I will be asking for money off our stay this is just not acceptable.....and can not be "fixed" by front desk coming up and bringing new towels. People hired have a job to do - period - if they do not want to do the job - fire them and find someone who wants to do their job with pride. Arizona is a right to work state....people not doing their job should NOT be the problem of the guest. read more

My stay at this hotel has been nothing but pleasant. It's very clean, spacious room, and comfortable bedding. I like their attention to details. USB outlets are conveniently provided on bed side and the desk in the room. The alarm clock as aux plug to connect my phone to play music. Four lights in four corners of the room and soft and hard pillows on the bed were nice. I liked the breakfast with all choices of coffee, tea, waffle, eggs... Another big plus was wifi speed which was very high (20 Mb/s down and up) and I had no issues using it or streaming videos. The rate was very good and it's been diamond rated by AAA in 2015 and 2016. Straight to the point: Nice motel. Really good for the price. Room is spacious, view towards the valley is great. Services at the motel are top notch, staff is helpful and the motel has a general updated look. Breakfast is good, and it is quiet at night. Beds are comfortable, couch is nice, and there are plenty of usb's/outlets available. We were there for the rodeo, so it was hard to find a place to stay that wasn't crazy expensive. This was a good choice. What makes this a 3 star for me: Chase called me the day we checked out saying that they identified a fraudulent charge on my credit card originating from this hotel directly after using it for incidentals on the room. I had to cancel my card and am currently waiting for a new one. Because of this, I probably won't be going back. Pay cash here. read more

Started off a great stay until the room next to us decided they were going to smoke...our room smelled so bad I complained to the desk she didn't do anything her excuse was I'm by myself. So you take a moment to to that room because your hotel is smoke free 100% guaranteed per your own advertising. Yet I wasn't the only one to complain. The sheets and pillow cases had black long hair all over them, the bath tub wouldnt drain, their was black mold up on the shower ceiling, their were orthodontic rubber bands on the floor, old socks under the couch and a GIANT YELLOW STAIN ON THE WHITE COMFORTER. The key cards quit working the next morning so they had to fix them...the house cleaning girl wasn'tever wearing a mask...yet they bothered us a few times about walking out without a mask. We stayed here for two nights and found the room small, but perfect for two people. We had a corner room and really enjoyed our stay. Of couse if you are like us you are hardly in your room so the most important thing is that the room is clean, and the bed is great. We had both here. Loved the view, The hotel is on a high across the street from a small mall and lateraly to Hobby Lobby and Home Depot. It's easy to find. The staff were really nice especially Melanie who went out of her way to make sure our stay was a good one. Breakfast was good, and what is expected at most hotel chains. This hotel was an unbelievable bargain; the building looked brand new, but I was told it was 3 years old. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Also, for this price range, the breakfast was fantastic; they had a large selection of hot and cold foods, fruit, yogurt, etc. The whole place was spotless and our room was very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! Arrived with a baby & small pet, the staff was very accommodating. The suite was great - value priced, clean, very roomy, well-appointed, and full stocked with all the necessities! I loved the separate seating area, bed was comfy and they provided lots of pillows (a must for us). The parking and access is convenient and the view is amazing. I stayed here for the ERAU open house in mid April and this place was great! The staff was really laid back and kind. The rooms were SUPER clean and big and very modern (it's new). Breakfast was good considering it's free. Seems like a place worthy of 5 stars, right? Well, the thing that bumped me to put this down to 4 stars is the fact that the fitness room is tiny and the pool is outside. It isn't convenient to put the pool outside because it was snowing... In normal circumstances, I would rate this motel as 5-star, but I am choosing only a 2-start rating because NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE, including the front desk check-in person, was wearing a mask. I do not care that the local county does not have a mask mandate. I expect Comfort Inn's corporate policy to require masks for all employees in order to protect their customers. We simply did not feel safe at this facility. That being said, this motel has many great features. We loved the location as it was close to two great hiking trails and it was only a 15-minute drive to downtown Prescott. The room was very spacious and had a pleasant sitting area along with a desk, two tables, a large fridge, and a microwave. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the towels were fairly thick. Coffee was available 24/7 in the lobby and a prepackaged breakfast was available each morning. The breakfast was pretty lame, but we understand the limitations during this pandemic. We did contact Comfort Inn almost immediately to complain about the lack of masks and the representative said the manager and owner would be informed of our concerns. Nothing changed during our stay. We would never return to this chain's motels during the COVID-19 pandemic. read more

This review is long overdue. In fact, after our stay I let YELP know that this hotel was not listed yet. We were coming for a wedding from California so we wanted to make it a long weekend. Since everyone else was staying here we decided to as well. It was a new hotel and provided breakfast which was very convenient. The deduction in a star was due to the fact that we were not informed that the rate was HIGHER for Sunday night when we booked the reservation. I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last two years. Both times the staff was very friendly and the location was awesome. The hotel sits high a top a hill in Prescott Valley. The rooms are clean and the hotel was pretty quite. It is centrally located and close to downtown Prescott as well as grocery stores. And if you need some last minute outdoors supplies to hike or swim with, there is a Dick's sporting goods right at the bottom of the hill. read more

This has been one of the most pleasant hotel stays I can remember. We arrived to check in and the front service person was very polite and personable. We left to go frolic about town and when we came back the whole hotel was covered in lights that changed color which was super cool my 2 year old son was super excited about that. The room was super clean which is awesome. The room had plenty of couches and seats it had a lot of nifty features, the alarm clock and an auxiliary port for your audio device. There's A USB port charging station. The bathroom actually had a tub which makes it feel like you're home and not in some sterile environment, like a hospital. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast is great with plenty of delicious things to pick from. My only Truly first world gripe is that wifi is kinda slow, other than that I would definitely stay in this place again!!!!!! read more

Stayed in this hotel for a week. It is very clean and much of the staff is friendly and helpful especially Cassie, Carly and the breakfast lady from New York. The manager has too ridged an attitude. We needed to stay for a few weeks, the manager would not even discuss a better rate and incredibly said she doesn't encourage guests to stay long term. Made a reservation on 9/7 for 9/27. No problem... Checked in on 9/27 and was told "you were supposed to be here on 9/13." Um, what? They didn't have a reservation for us for 9/27. We were able to get a room, but they had charged us for the "no show" on 9/13 because some idiot at the desk entered the date wrong !! So now we're charged for the "no show" on the 13th AND the room I the 27th. The manager at the desk essentially told us tough &$@t, it's our problem, not their mistake and they can't do anything about it. We called the Choice Hotels customer service and we were told to put in a complaint with the hotel, which we already had, and the manager has the ability to make things right. We usually try to stay at Hilton brand hitels, but we have found Comfort Suites to be nice rooms. We checked in at 3, because they don't allow early check in. Got into the room and the ac was not on. In the middle to end on June it is hot and would have been nice to walk into a cool room. Rooms are nice size, beds are comfortable, pool was freezing, but the hot tub was not heating up either, so we went back to the room and ordered pizza. Next morning went down for there complementary breakfast. Not bad!!! Everything was clean, they were constantly cleaning and refilling everything. Definately will keep coming back and recommend this brand hotel! read more

What a wonderful stay, I wish I could have stayed longer!! Had a littel Boston Terrier with me, and I can't say enough how caring, supportive and helpful, all the staff were with my stay. It such a true blessing, that everything is: as it should be !!!! Its as good as it gets!! Especially with all the extensive travel I have done in the last 4-5 years, It's actually hard to find a Hotel these days that Delivers on every expectation- ( LET ALONE ABOVE AND BEYOND!!) I'm normally not one to post a review but I really couldn't believe what happened. My daughter and I went to prescott with another mom and daughter and stayed in 2 different rooms. We were getting ready for bed and pulled down the top sheet to find hair. Not 1 or 2 or 3 it was like 6! I called my friend who was in the other room and told her so she checked hers and there was nasty hair in her bed as well. I called down to the front desk to tell them our situation and all she said was well if you want new sheets you need to come get them from the front desk. We got the new sheets, opened them up and there was hair AGAIN in all of them!!! We went back to the desk again and they just made excuses like they changed the kind of sheets they use and stuff sticks to them. Then they said their laundry person has been out for like a month so everyone has been doing the laundry. So now we are back in the room with our 2nd set.....hair AGAIN!!! We honestly couldn't believe this!! We went back again and they just keep giving us new sets. FINALLY we got a pair that was hair free! Needless to say this took up so much of our evening that was supposed to be spent having fun with our girls! The next morning we asked to speak to the manager. They said she was in a meeting but to take 10% off. I'm sorry but me getting a whole $9 back does not seem like a fair and respectful way to have handled this poor situation! Very disappointed in how all of this was handled or in our case was not handled. read more

I was hoping to get away for the weekend to decompress a little in lovely Prescott Valley. While the town didn't disappoint, the rest of the evening wasn't so pleasant. It sounded like a little big foot was up stairs doing twenty foot sprints back and forth starting around 8pm. I figured around 10pm was a reasonable hour for quiet time so I ignored it the best I could but my family and I finally had enough at about 1030pm. The nice lady at the front office said she had already warned a family earlier about some unsupervised kids and she would go back up to investigate the noise once her coworker returned to watch the counter. And it was really strange while we were on the 1st floor that the whole 2nd floor was vacant. Anyways, the last race ended just around 12am and we finally managed to start sleeping. When I checked out in the morning I explained briefly to the morning checker outer what an uncomfortable evening my family and I had and all I got was really pathetic "sorry that happened" making zero eye contact with me. As if to tell someone "sucks to be you...thanks for staying" No big deal I guess, but I'll find better customer service down the road next time. read more

I have been remiss in writing about Comfort Suites. On Dec 11, 2010, we came to AZ from Alabama due to my work. We had just lost my mother and my daughter passed away suddenly the day we arrived. Comfort Suites staff not only took us in but also helped to coordinate the many family and friends that arrived to help us through this tragic time. I don't know what we would have done without Jason and the crew. There were no unusual charges and in fact they held a room without charge when our other daughter was late arriving due to a flight delay. They treated us like family and gave us every courtesy imaginable. The rooms were extremely clean and we were supplied with extra towels and other items at no cost. On nights when I could not sleep, I wandered into the lobby where the staff would make sure I had hot chocolate and some much needed "alone" time. We stayed with Comfort Suites until we moved into our home in late December. I cannot express to them how much we appreciate all that they did. It's nearly a year later and our family continues to remember with gratitude their many kind acts during that time. Last summer we had a friend from Florida stay with Comfort Suites on our recommendation. He also was treated extremely well and received the same service we had told him about. I most highly recommend Comfort Suites and endorse them as the best place you can stay in this area! read more

This place is wonderful. My husband and I are purchasing a house in Prescott Valley, and we stayed here for a weekend while we searched. The over the phone service was wonderful, we spoke with Victoria, and it was a last minute trip for 4th of July weekend. Everyone was booked, but we were calling to see if they had cancellations. They did, and Victoria helped us book the room, at a fair price even! When we arrived we checked in with Victoria as well! She is so pleasant and helpful. The lobby is open and fresh, there is plenty of parking, the pool looked pretty big and inviting. Then we got to our room. It was nice and clean and comfortable, and the view was amazing! The hotel is up on a hill, so you can see the whole valley from above!! It is across the street from a big shopping center and restaurants, which is also nice. And the breakfast!!!! So good! Blueberry waffles you make yourself, and a ton of other items. I am staying here again at the end of the month, and I'm so glad I found my go-to hotel in the Prescott area! read more
