Some of the items in the room were damaged (tub scratched up and mirror had black marks) but the room was clean. Price was also decent. Staff were wearing masks. They serve complimentary breakfast everyday and offered cold items - burrito, sausage egg biscuit, fruit cups, cereal, packaged baked goods, nut bars, bagels. They also had coffee and juices. However, some of the guests were eating indoors without masks. Because of covid, there's no room cleaning if you stay consecutive days (have to specifically request it). read more

Checking in was quick, easy, and the woman who checked me in acted in a professional manner. The room was extremely spacious! I stayed in a suite with a king size bed, pull-out couch, coffee table, desk area, microwave with fridge and small coffee maker. Room came standard with tea and coffee. Loved that they had built in shampoo and conditioner with lotion in room. Heater/ AC worked well just loud. I laid down and the pillows had a distinct smell as if they hadn't been washed in some time or weren't changed from the previous guest. Something between dried sweat or wet rag. I got up and decided to wash my face and the face towels had that same smell. It was late and didn't want to make a fuss and since I'm traveling often for work I now pack my own towels for this purpose. Slept just fine after that. They offered free breakfast in the lobby and I believe 24 hour coffee. The ladies who checked me out were pleasant and greeted me with a smile. First of all I want to thank you for such a great experience as check in was easy, rebooking for another night easy, clean room and a good breakfast!! My adult daughter and I had the need to stay in town because of same day surgery (which went well :) ) Everything was great until we were checking out!! I had made one trip putting things in the car and upon returning to room, my key would not work!! No choice other than to have daughter open door for me. As I entered the lobby on my second trip taking things to the two ladies I had seen in the breakfast room were loudly laughing and asked me if I needed another key!!!! As my daughter and I were leaving they declared I should have paid for the pet .... I told them it was a service animal for medical alert and not a pet! Both of these ladies continued laughing as I assisted my daughter to the car. I found them to be very unprofessional, rude, loud and obnoxious. If I had been "up to it" I would have educated them on being ADA compliant. These two women need to stay in the breakfast room not in the lobby sitting at the reservation desk!!! read more

All I can say about this hotel is it was clean. the lighting is terrible, there is no carpeting at all which would have been helpful to stop the noise from the herd of elephants above. there is a decent bed and one kitchen style chair. the rooms is bare and echos terribly. breakfast item was a banana and TV was placed in such a manner, a fixed to the wall, so its was not comfortrable viewing this from any -lace in the room. read more

This is a GREAT HOTEL to stay at especially when traveling with family (Four adults and 2 children). We got the 2 King size Suite bedroom! There is ample room for all of us including our luggage. Not only does this room have 2 KING size beds for the adults, but it also has a sofa bed for the children. It's too bad we weren't here long enough to truly enjoy the spacious room. This room also has a great balcony that looks out into the pool area. Their breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, bagels, cereals, oatmeal, milk, juices, coffee and fresh fruits are available. I forgot to bring down my phone and take pictures, but trust me they have both hot and cold food available. ****TIP*** If you're traveling with children make sure to request the 2 KING SIZE SUITE. THEY WILL KICK OUT YOUR INFANTS!!!!!!!!! I informed the desk clerk I had twin 1 year old's and to put me somewhere away from people if possible and he said he would. He then proceeded to keep telling me how beautiful I was which is beside the point but weird. They were in a new place and scared. I had to change their diapers. By the time I did this, I had got them somewhat calmed down BUT then the phone rang riling them up again. I picked it up and then hung up and it rang again and I did the same. Then the clerk came to my door and I opened the door while holding one baby and said that what he was doing was NOT helping the situation and shut the door. I then sent Jordan out to apologize for my frustration and see what he actually wanted. He then told Jordan that if I don't get them to stop, we will have to leave! Mind you, I am the ONLY licensed driver on this trip and can not safely drive another 5 minutes! So I start to cry! I am beyond stressed and don't know what to do. One baby was sleeping at this point but not the other so I loaded him in the car and proceeded to drive around for about a half hour to see if that helped but when I brought him back into the room it started up again so I tried the same thing again and another half hour wasted. I tried to sleep in the car with him and as I am laying there all I am picturing is me waking up to a dead baby. I called the manager and basically the conversation ended with her telling me that she is sorry I cant control my babies and hung up on me! read more

My family and I stayed at this inn for 2 nights to prepare for a gathering of my cousin's upcoming wedding that was to happen at a local golf country club located a short distance from there. Check in was quick and smooth. The electronic keys were easy to use. Our room was comfortable and spacious that included a balcony (which was of the boring parking lot). But convenient in the aspect that we could keep track of family members coming and going when needed. The beds were very comfortable and we could watch cable TV from the bed or you could rotate it to face the make shift "living area" at the entrance side of the room. The bathroom was pretty standard, and offered a vanity sink with the separate, private toilet and shower area. A few minor inconveniences were that one of the heat lamps in the bathroom popped and made a shattering sound that made me duck and cover my head. To my relief, no glass particles ever made it the floor. I guess it stayed within the bulb, but it did give me scare! Another annoyance, was that the bath tub in our room and others, made loud creaking sounds while showering! My boyfriend said that whoever installed the tubs didn't do it properly and eventually these tubs will end up cracking! Trying to use the outlets seemed almost humorous as we tried to plug something in. They were so worn that the plugs kept falling back out! They also offer a free breakfast that I never tried, but heard it wasn't that enticing. There is a Perko's Coffee Shop within walking distance, a fast food restaurant or Applebees nearby. The staff is very nice and accommodating and the rooms are kept neat and tidy. Basically, the Comfort Inn does live up to its name. Just don't expect perfection! read more

This hotel exceeded my expectations and was nicer than many upscale hotels I stay at for work! The room was huge and featured a king size bed, deck, free WiFi, minibar and flatscreen TV. All the rooms have reentry been updated and the room was clean and didn't smell old or dirty, amazing given they allow dogs. The only negative was the shower which had a tiny shower head and low pressure. Also, you could hear a bit of freeway noise, even on the backside, but given the location I'm sure it was much less than many other hotels in the area. The reception staff were all really friendly and helpful. There is a free breakfast every day. The hotel is super close to the freeway, downtown and fairgrounds. I would stay here again and highly recommend the hotel. read more

I had a long day traveling from Santa Rosa to Red Bluff in the horrible heat of the day. Our truck overheated 10 times and we had to pull over. We were moving to Red Bluff and then I find out when I get there the person that I will be sharing a house with is a meth head who beats his pitbull puppy. So I had a long day and I was tired AF. We try and find a hotel to stay the night because we were not going to move in with Gary the meth head, especially since I have a husky who is a year and a half old. We search around for a hotel and we find this one which seems really nice and I am really excited about. We get into the lobby and they tell us that there is free continental breakfast. Soooo we get to our room (room #107) and it's very nice and spacious. However, I see a smudge on the curtains of the room. I think nothing of it thinking it's just a stain but then when I go turn on the air conditioning I see that the smudge is a COCKROACH. I was creeped out. I hate bugs so my boyfriend calls the lobby asking for a different room and tells them that there is a cockroach in our room. Their reaction was more scary than the cockroach because they acted as if this happened all the time. They gave us a different room (room #203) which was upstairs. We get to that room and I look around for bugs but the light is on so they hide. Cockroaches don't like the light so they were probably hiding if there were any in the room. I get in bed and hold up the covers to pull them over me and I noticed that if you put the white comforter up to the light you can see all the stains and nasty shit in the comforter. I did the same with the sheet but I didn't see any stains so I pulled it over me so I didn't have to touch the nasty comforter. Id hate to see this place under a black light. The small full size bed was in front of the tv so my boyfriend and I had to sleep on the full and Mika got the king size bed. I think my dog enjoyed the stay more than I did she got a king size bed all to herself. I was hoping the breakfast would be good considering they said it's "continental" breakfast. It was a bunch of packaged items you had to heat up in the microwave. I do recommend if you do go here to get the sausage egg And cheese sandwich thing they have that you heat up and the blueberry muffins that are also packaged. It wasn't continental like advertised lol. I was just really upset seeing the dirty comforter in one room and the cockroach in the other. Reading Yelp reviews I see they steal credit card info and have bed bugs as well which is alarming. I wouldn't go here again until they fix their bed bug and cockroach problem. The breakfast was fine I just wish they didn't say it was continental because it wasn't. At least Mika enjoyed her king size bed. read more

Pros: the owners will rent a room to you off the books if you stay for a period of time (no card needed this way). Some rooms are clean if you are lucky. Pool is nice when bums aren't in it. Cons: a lot of the house keepers don't speak english and are extremely rude unless you are Mexican! The owners like to pay under the table so they hire crack heads. Not someone I would want in my room around my stuff. The laundry is hardly ever done so towels aren't changed after every stay. They don't have a lock on the pool gate and the local homeless people like to swim with guests. Breakfast is always cold and unsanitary. read more

We needed a place to stay till my hubbies boss told him where we're going next for work. (We travel for my hubbies work) They set us up here, I was surprised on how nice this place is. Yes, the first room the front desk gave us wss extremely sorry and hadn't been cleaned yet but they didn't hesitate to give us a new room with a balcony. This room is huge, a lot bigger than most that we stay in. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and pleasant. The staff was also very sweet. Plenty of room for a hyper toddler top roam and play. Has great breakfast, a pool, and a small gym area which is a great plus for me. Definitely would stay here again. read more

Nice big room, decent hot breakfast. As other reviewers mentioned, they have serious internet issues. Last night, it only had one bar and dropped out so often it was unusable. I called the desk about it and was told it was due to the WIND. Really? Blowing the electrons away from the wire? It didn't seem very windy to me anyway. Today, it's clearly quite calm out and the internet does seem to be getting the full 4 bars of signal. They really need to fix whatever is causing the wind to make the internet drop out. Also, I just had another dropout (browser says "no internet") after writing this review! So it's more than just the wind, if that's even a factor. read more

Pros: Pet friendly, close to I-5, very nice front desk staff and inexpensive. The kids enjoyed the cold rainbow cereal, which they don't get at home. Cons: It just felt dirty. Like, we kept our shoes next to the bed so we didn't have to walk on the carpet dirty. The pillows, all of them, sucked. The breakfast was sad. We didn't expect gourmet, but given I was already feeling like everything was dirty, I noticed the how dirty the food containers were. Someone from earlier that AM had left their plate of biscuits, with green mold, on the counter. I chose a safe pre-packaged dry oatmeal. The "hot" water wasn't hot, and I swear it was stale...I literally spit it out. Good news is, there's a drive-through Starbucks right there. Admittedly, I looked at about five spots as we drove up 5, and thought this was a 4 1/2 star spot. We didn't need fancy, just a clean spot to sleep. Horrible hotel! Political stand on not wearing mandated masks with little concern for their customers!! Never again! 10 days after masks were mandated for everyone in California, I was greeted by the front desk personnel without a mask. He was quick to tell me they just haven't had enough time to implement the current Covid 19 protocol. Really??? A mask takes about 20 seconds to put on! What other protocol had they not gotten around to???? I voiced my concerns about housekeeping and all personnel not following the Covid protocol!! No Supervisor there, of course. I will never support CHOICE hotels ever again. Their lack of concern for my safe stay in a clean, well disinfected room serviced by mask wearing employees was infuriating. The travel industry must lead the way in following protocol because they are serving the traveling public from other states, foreign countries, and locals. I work for a major airline & fully understand how uncomfortable wearing a mask is.... I also know, first hand, how horrible this virus can be! We were meant to stay in Redding, but couldn't get reservations for July long weekend. So, decided to stay in this place because of the OKish price for next day. We checked in at around 9pm and the woman at the counter wasn't friendly, at least not welcoming. She was busy with her work. After a few minutes, we got to enter the room and relax. Then,I decided not to stay here again. 1. I found a Fly in the bathroom( disgusting!!). This indicates the cleanliness of the room, all in all. 2. The coffee maker wasn't cleaned. People who stayed earlier left the coffee bag in the coffee maker and no one got to clean it and jar which is meant to be filled with water is dusty. I preferred not to drink coffee. 3. The air conditioner was super old and we couldn't get to sleep because of the sound it made. It didn't seem to work well either. The only reason why I gave three star rating is the breakfast we had in the morning. It is complementary and had all good options, like toast, cereal, waffles, apple.. We had waffles and loved them. However, we didn't have a good night sleep, which is the reason we spent 150 bucks for a single day, and it didn't happen. I don't mind if I don't get complementary breakfast, and have my room super clean. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room , couch,desk ,patio and large king size bed. lots of pillows to choose from ,comfortable bed, plenty of bedding. air conditioner works well and bendable lights on the headboard work great for reading in bed. even though the hotel is dog friendly the room did not smell old musty or of a pet. the only things I would mention as a negative is definitely the shower pressure and shower head which needs updating and variety of breakfast options. read more

I love that this motel offers TWO king beds in ONE room! As a family of 5 (3 kiddos) having king beds just makes it that much more enjoyable! We stayed here on a Saturday night, and had the pool and spa to ourselves! The pool is not heated so it was a bit chilly, but totally doable. The 2 king room was very spacious! We live full time in our 31ft trailer, so this was a nice treat for the kiddos! The decorations are nicely done. Feels a lot nicer than a comfort inn. Thanks so much! read more

I was booked to stay at the comfort inn for a week. On day 2 I get a call from the front desk because they needed to talk to me. So I went up front. The chubby blond lady that works in front informed me that, "At 8:00am someone had called the hotel and asked for me by name, and the caller ID on the call was a name that she was uncomfortable with." I said "I received a call from a friend, and who's name is on the caller ID that you are uncomfortable with?" She told me the name, and it wasn't my friend. It was someone I didn't know at all and never even heard of. She then asked my boyfriend and I to leave. I asked her how it was my fault that someone she didn't likes name was on a caller ID. I don't even know the person and what's any of that relevant to me in anyway? She insisted we had to leave. I told her my boyfriend was at work and he got off at 2. She said i had till 2. I asked her, if you are so afraid of this person and he makes u that uncomfortable then when you saw his name pop up why did you send the call threw to my room? If it was that person, then you just gave my location to this person. My friend who it was that called said he just asked them if I was there, he didn't tell them a room number. So if someone was trying to find me they just gave up my location to someone that she is unsafe around. When my boyfriend got off he talked to them and asked for her bosses information which she refused to give us! Then called the cops. I don't think this is legal she violated my safety and privacy. And made us leave because someone that didn't even call the hotels name was on the caller ID?? I intend to file a lawsuit. read more

The few stays have been nice, but this last one I had checked in showing Expedia reservation and explained Priceline was canceled. No refund was given because apparently they accepted the canceled reservation. I must add I was alone so even if they booked with the wrong one which they did. They should had communicated this with me. Nothing was said. Either they wanted the extra or seriously not guest friendly behind the counter. Any reasonably responsible management staff would had noticed especially since have stayed before and a very good guest. read more

Nice hotel for the price. The front desk agent, Tabitha was awesome, and i was glad she checked me in, rather than whomever it was that checked me out. Room was clean, and nicely furnished, the moldings at each room entryway were very nice. I didnt use the pool, so cant comment on that. The free breakfast was nothing special, but it WAS free. Two complaints i had,which I didn't bring up with the staff, cuz I know there wasn't anything they could've done about it; the water pressure in the shower. More than once while my family was showering, the pressure just dropped drastically, as if someone else stole half of the water for their room/shower. Second thing, the Wi-Fi signal, in my particular room wasn't very strong, though in the lobby, the breakfast room, and my aunt's room down the hall all had decent signal. Not as nice as appears on website. Sadly disappointed with room and pool. Room I called to advise we would be arriving late. I was assured they would not give my room away. I reserved a room with a King & a Queen bed, non-smoking, pet-friendly. I made the reservation via phone and discussed details in great length particularly about our dog. Upon arrival they were surprised I had a pet so had to "change" my room to a room on the first floor but was a chair accessible room. I declined because the bathroom floor gets quite wet from the shower. They wanted to then move us to a room on the third floor with the smokers which I declined. Ultimately, we were given a room on the second floor where dogs are normally not allowed. The room had a King and a Double, not a Queen as paid for. For being recently "remodeled" the room appeared very retro in decor, the heater had the service light on and the bathroom had hair on the floor. The pictures on the website don't paint a good picture of the grounds for obvious reasons. Our view from our room was run down homes and backyards. We didn't bother to go in the pool and the spa was empty. I had called to verify the spa was working and was assured it was. After driving in a car for seven hours the spa would've been nice. Glad we were passing through and don't expect to be staying here again. read more

Absolutely DO NOT STAY HERE! Many of us from across the state and neighboring states descended on Red Bluff for a 3 day event held at the Fairgrounds. Our host hotel was the Comfort Inn. As early as the morning after check in, many started receiving calls from the fraud departments of their banking institutions. I too received one such call, however, I thought nothing of it as I was out of the area and sometimes they flag the account. Fast forward a week and my account is completely hacked. Dozens of us from the event realized the commonality was the hotel. The hotel refuses to speak to any of us. The police have launched an investigation as well as this being the top news in the area. The front desk attendant said, "yes, the last person smoked in it and we charged him but feel free to come downstairs and change rooms." Why on earth would you give us this room in the first place?!?
