    Door and bed.

    I booked this place primarily on location. I was VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED by the quality of the property. It's a little hard to find, there is a Triangle motorhome park very close by. The property is from the 1940s and had been expertly refurbished. It's very modern while keeping an old vibe. The bed is comfortable and there's a decent sized table and place to put your suitcase... lots of floor room also. Although I thought it was fairly close to the freeway I did not HEAR ANY TRAFFIC NOISE. One very different aspect of the property is there is no "front desk" or people at the property. The company instant messages you with the code to enter the lock. I was a little confused because there were 6 buttons on the lock. They were "1 2" "3 4" "5 6" "7 8" and "9 0" and a button with a "lock" on it to lock the room. Inside the door there was a little basket on the wall with all the information (in 3 laminated pages) you need about the property and the TV remote. In the instructions it says if you need ANYTHING.... Extra toilet paper, towels, soap etc. there is a room (and it gave the code) where you have access to stuff like that. I didn't need anything so I didn't check it. The shower was good water flow and pressure. There was also a refrigerator (already cold) and a coffee maker. I would rate the cleanliness and comfort of this property 95 out of 100. I think they should have a bigger shelf to place items on in the bathroom. I only have a small bathroom kit and it took up most of the counter. The sink has no space around it. I WILL STAY HERE AGAIN... on any trip when I'm coming down from Oregon to break up my drive.

    I can't say enough good things about this motel! I left today after a 1-night stay and already want to return. I assume Google Maps classifies this as a 2-star hotel due to some technicalities, like there's no reception desk or in-room dining etc, but it does not deserve to be in the same category as other 2-star hotels. Let me tell you why I loved this place: -The motel itself is completely renovated and absolutely impeccable. The style is so modern with some retro motel charm. -very clean -comfortable beds & bedding -I'm a sucker for their great branding lol -dog friendly!! Just be sure to say that when you book because I think (?) only certain rooms are dog friendly. They're so dog-friendly that your room even gets set up with a little pet kit - a cute dog bowl, towels to wipe their paws, paper towel for messes, and lint roller for the bed. -fantastic guest services, even despite no in-person reception desk (it's all self check-in/out with a code for your room). Erin was SO friendly and helpful with booking my room over the phone, answering questions, letting me change the date of my stay bc a wildfire on my roadtrip route led me to a longer detour (and even offering to refund my night if I didn't end up staying due of that wildfire- I say that bc the motel's refund policy is much less flexible than most places - so fyi be sure to read that when you book), and helping move me to a different room when I arrived (the front door of my original room wasn't fully closing without using the deadbolt). -thoughtful local touches - including mattresses from a 100-year California-based company, coffee from a local roaster, etc. -great AC - very necessary in the summer!! -there's a pool, but I didn't get to use it I highly recommend staying here!

    It's super cute and new remodel. Very cool and clean. They put a lot of work into the charm and it's great. However, my husband said he didn't want to say that their convenience shower supplies were empty. He spent a lot of time reading their website because of his interest in the complete renovation and attention to modernization. I brought my own personal shower caddy. Second, there are no USB ports. He was surprised. There is a Great smart tv. You can log into Netflix and YouTube. Excellent . Be sure to log out. There's a few instructions on the wall for the door lock and the windows are antique and I love them!! Yes. Stay here it's amazing!

They are charging $150 a night in Red Bluff for what is essentially a bug-infested closet. This is pure price gouging and taking advantage of travelers who have nowhere else to go. The moment we walked in, we were hit with a revolting, overwhelming smell that permeated the entire building. To make matters worse, there were millions of bugs all over the hotel. It felt like a health hazard just standing in the lobby. Once we finally checked in, the nightmare continued: * The Heat: The room was stiflingly hot. It took over two hours for the AC to bring the temperature down to a tolerable level. * The Fridge: In a ridiculous attempt to "conserve energy," they keep the refrigerators turned off. So, if you have food or cold drinks, expect them to sit at room temperature while you wait for the appliance to actually start working. * The Beds: You might as well sleep on the parking lot pavement. The beds were hard as a rock and completely uncomfortable. This place is a disgrace. Save your money and your sanity--stay literally anywhere else. This "hotel" shouldn't be open for business.

Probably not...but the price was right for three of us to split. For us this trip it's not about the hotels, it's just a place to rest. As long as I don't see bugs or unwanted fluid I'm fine. I ran my blacklight, while my friend sanitized where needed. We didn't hang out coats on the rack because it looked like something splashed all over after I ran the blacklight through it . Bedding had a few stains but at least it didn't look like blood or seminal fluid . So my friends are sleeping, I'm up at after 3am writing this because I can't sleep. I will have to say this place is pretty quiet. At first I was very afraid because upon arrival the train was so loud and we were worried there will be no sleep all night. It's past 3am and I hear a train, but it's not loud at all. I don't hear the neighbors either. So it's nice that the rooms are pretty soundproof. There's a little coffee pot, a couple coffee packs, a mini fridge. We didn't have to use because we have an ice cooler, and a small tv. Paul at the front desk brought us more towels. They provide you with dark towels also to remove your makeup. They charge you extra if your towels are stained. I have blue hair so I bring my own dark towels, and my own pillow cases so I don't stain any hotel beddings. So I shouldn't be charged at checkout. There are plenty of outlets, and usb plug ins for the three of us to charge our devices. Front desk made sure we were on the first floor so we could park right in front. That was very convenient. That's why I give this place a three star instead of a two. If anything changes after checkout I'll be sure to update. The photos I posted aren't mine. I understand the $10 pet fee, but the rest was explained as taxes and fees, which felt misleading. We were very tired, so we just accepted it and checked in. The room itself was decent, but there were several issues. There were coffee packets but no coffee maker, a missing picture on the bathroom wall, and one of the shower bottles was broken off. Only two full-size towels were provided, and they were very thin and not what you would expect. The room was also missing basic items you typically find in hotels, especially one associated with Wyndham no laundry bag, no notepad or pen, and no local information or reading material. The lamp shades were also loose and flimsy. We were also traveling with a dog, and the designated pet area in the back had cigarette butts all over the ground, which was very disappointing. Additionally, the photos online do not accurately reflect this specific location in Red Bluff. DO NOT BE FOOLED Overall, for the price paid, this stay was not worth it. I would not stay here again.

Of course he told me, it doesn't matter, he would never smoke in a hotel room, if I was there due to my asthma, very sweet, but damn! Well of course the room smelled heavy like an ashtray, wish they would have Febreezed that room. 2nd mistake was ignoring the bad reviews We noticed the pillows were so small, they must have been made for children, and they offered no support. There were cigarette burns and little black stains on the blanket, the sheet had a stain on it, the hand towels had make- up stains on them, the bottom of the bathroom door was messed up, and the paint was off it, the wall next to the bathroom door had a stain on it. The door was hard to close as well. The shower was pretty cool looking but if you decide to turn the water cooler, it causes the nice spray to lose its pressure. The pool had a padlock on it, so not sure if I was supposed to find someone to open it, but I would have figured it would had been left unlocked, as it was not supposed to be closed. The bed was horrible, both sides were definitely worn in, as they were sunken and the middle was not, so it kind of gave the feeling that we were going to roll off the bed. Would not stay again.

I had to disable WiFi on my phone and use my Sprint signal which was weak but worked for what little I needed. In the $85 per night price range I'd rate this room 4 STARS. Room was very CLEAN and CONVENIENT. THERE ARE LOTS OF PLACES TO SPREAD THINGS OUT. There were absolutely no odors/aromas of anything which is always a plus. TUB/Shower is outdated but clean. Good hot water and pressure. The cabinet under the sink is so old and ugly it's actually MORE FUNNY than problematic. But because of the cabinet I looked more closely at other things. The bathroom door is ugly AND it sticks! There are many things that are old and dated but with all the other hotels full and the HAMPTON Inn charging $155 per night...we felt Grateful to have this room at all. The manager is excellent. Very nice and friendly and helpful. He brought us an extra chair for company. Good small microwave & refrigerator in the room with a freezer we could refreeze things in. Breakfast consisted of a Grab N Go bag. See my picture! Pretty funny. I generally enjoy budget MOM & POP hotels and choose them over these big chains. They often have a homespun charm about them that makes up for things being just plain old. This place has no homespun charm and I don't consider it a budget priced room at $110 per night...but it HAS been kept clean and the beds are comfortable and the heat works! The TV is Spectrum Cable. And REALLY...if you have a lot of stuff to spread out this place is ROOMY and CONVENIENT! They also THANKFULLY INCLUDE A MULTI-PLUG AC OUTLET BY THE BED! Food was OK, not special, not at all below par. But- We were told by this nice girl that we could order after we paid. Watching, nobody else got this treatment. For them, it was order, eat, pay on the way out. Because it's some private club? Why is this open to public, then? She said nothing about drinks. They had coffee on the other tables. When she went to the table nearby, the dude said "I want all the sh.."- when vulgarity is disallowed at Moose to our knowledge. Server girl asked "You want coffee or juice? I'll make you a fresh pot." So he's the owner? The Grand Wizard or something? A whole pot of coffee, and y'all outsiders get- ? None. It probably comes down to small-town xenophobia. It's also the 21st century. California. You'd think we'd evolved. For the money, go to Denny's on Antelope. Similar amounts, food and cost, but more pleasant service. Really friendly, actually. They just don't like outsiders here. Moose is known for this. We just hoped they'd changed.

She made us two unique drinks and made us laugh. Very personable and would recommend spending a Friday evening when your in the area. Some of the members were present and very kind.
