    Stains on bedding
    Lesley B.

This has to be the worst hotel I've stayed at! My daughter and I stayed here after a long drive. Our first impression was that it was very trashy looking from the outside. The welcome desk/receptionist was not very friendly or communicative what so ever. Got to our room and it was absolutely disgusting! Blood stains on the bedding and other stains that I can only assume were other bodily fluids. Also splash stains on the lamp shade. Black hair on the bathroom floor every where , both my daughter and I are blondes. Attached are pictures that I've taken. All I can say is DISGUSTING!! They don't even deserve a 1 star.

I got bed bug bites from my 4 night stay!!!

I got bed bug bites from my 4 night stay!! The comforter was cut apart and the replacement they gave me was stained. I requested house cleaning at 8am and at 6pm it still wasn't done so I had to ask again. And I left with bed bug bites??? Horrible stay! I'm never coming back.

Wow, this used to be a pretty great place to stay. Boy has it gone down hill. I know times are hard, good help is hard to find but is this what the new standards for hotels are now? Come on!? The lobby smells like weed, the floors and hallways are all sticky. And I was completely disgusted with my room I was given. I went to the front desk to ask for all fresh bedding so I could make the bed myself because I did not want to even lay on the bed. The front desk agent gave me a different room. The second room was a tad better but still "dirty" walls, carpet, switch plates, furniture, bathtub. Just dirty. I was a member here but after this stay I will not be returning.

A comfortable and clean room. Friendly and genuine staff. A decent continental breakfast with extremely nice staff. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The rooms were large and the beds were extremely comfortable with super soft sheets. I wanted to rate this hotel higher but everything to include coffee/tea in the room was set up for only one person with not even enough sugar for one cup. Also, the shampoo/conditioner/lotion was all open and half used. When we checked in they didn't bother to verbally tell us that breakfast was only served from 6 to 9am. To top it all off, they gave me some one else's bill with their address and other information on it and gave my information to another room. When I brought this all up the service girl blandly replied, "Sorry." Unfortunately I will not stay there again.

We had a very nice stay here on our WaterFire weekend. The room rate was $179, not too bad for a city location. We tried to stay closer to Providence but couldn't find anything. Comfort Suites is located in a commercial area, right next door to Cox Cable and across the street from a daycare center. The front desk agent was pleasant and polite. The room was big and comfy with a nice work desk. The bathroom was big and modern. We had mixed results with the free WiFi. I couldn't connect, but my wife and son had no issues. The free breakfast was pretty good - all kinds of pastries and cereals, two kinds of make your own waffles, yogurts, and a few hot dishes like sausages, cheese omelettes and plain omelettes. Even the juice in the dispensers was fine- unlike the weak & watery slop you find so often. I really didn't have one complaint about the hotel......

It's the lower level of Marriott's long-term stay properties. The rooms are not really suites ... it's more like a regular hotel room with a small alcove with a desk. Those expecting an actual suite (which I've always defined as a separate bedroom) will be surprised to find a regular hotel room. The not so good ... - Pool is always ice cold. I don't think it is heated. Hot tub is warm-ish but kind of industrial feeling. There is a big glass window looking into the pool from the lobby. Not fun being watched while swimming. - The bathrooms are small and sparse with a toilet and a shower. The water pressure and showerhead were terrible. The water trickles out making a shower totally unenjoyable. Tubs of shampoo and body wash on the wall. The worst part is the empty bathroom acts as an echo chamber and the door is right next to the bed. Any tinkle ... or other sounds one might make in the bathroom can be heard as clear as a bell by anyone laying in bed. Don't be shy! - There are small maintenance issues here and there. Our roller shade was broken and only raised 3/4 of the way, meaning it was kind of dark because the shade was blocking the top of the window during the day. There were also water stains on the ceiling and rust on the shower door. - The fridge in the room barely worked and our food did not stay cold enough that I felt safe eating it after a day or two. The drinks were also barely kept cold. - Metal door to the room magifies sound, so any hallway noise feels like it's actually inside the room. The good ... - The staff here are great. The front desk was able to solve any problem and didn't act as though they were doing us a favor by letting us stay there. We felt like guests. The breakfast attendant also was good and kept the place spotless. Although on the second day of our stay, they were out of most everything. Best scrambled eggs I've had at any cheap hotel buffet. - It's not luxurious by any means but the room seemed clean and the decor is a bit dark but comfortable. Bed is nothing special and linens feel cheap but no complaints. - One of the best in-room work station set-ups I've found with a comfortable chair and desk with plenty of space to spread out. - Very easy to get a 2 p.m. check out as an Elite guest. They didn't even hesitate to approve it, which is nice. Normally hotels fight you tooth and nail when you ask for a late check out, even as an Elite Marriott member. - Plenty of parking. It's a shame they don't have a bar, or little restaurant ... but I guess the area has lots of options. Tavern on the Square and just about every chain restaurant you can imagine and lots of fast food, including Shake Shack and Chick Filet. Pro tip ... there is a grocery store nearby named Dave's which has the best pizza by the slice and fresh soups and salads. Much better than fast food! Overall, there is nothing special about this hotel other than it's clean, comfortable and right off the highways.

As a frequent traveler and military service member, I can't recommend this hotel at all, despite the valiant effort of the staff. If you have ANY issue at all, rest assured the management lack any leadership to properly address or resolve your issue and will avoid ever calling you to understand the situation. When a case was opened with Bonvoy, management closed it with misinformation they concluded without ever calling me to confirm. In my 27 year career traveling for a living, I've never seen this level of unprofessionalism.

With most hotels either fully booked or charging sky-high prices (thanks to the USA Gymnastics Championships in town), I turned to Priceline and found the best available deal at the Extended Stay - West Warwick. The reviews were mixed, but since I only needed a place to rest my head overnight, I decided to give it a try. Here's my honest take: Pros: * Late-night check-in was smooth. I arrived around midnight, and the night attendant was available to assist. * The room was clean. Sheets, towels, and all visible surfaces were tidy and free of dust or residue. * Ample parking available on-site, which was convenient after a long travel day. * Plenty of nearby fast food options still open late, including Taco Bell, Sonic, Wendy's, Dunkin', McDonald's, and even Denny's. * Fresh hot coffee was available in the morning. * Extended stay amenities included in-room kitchenettes (with stovetop) and on-site laundry facilities--a plus for longer stays. Cons: * The property is dated. Both the lobby and the guest rooms could use a refresh or some modern updates. * Room odor was off-putting. There was a strong, sweet yet musky scent--likely from a floral plug-in. I'd suggest the hotel skip artificial scents altogether, especially considering guest allergies and sensitivities. A truly clean room should smell clean on its own. * The bed was uncomfortable. The mattress was firm and the pillows were thin--reminiscent of a roll-away cot. Definitely not the best night's sleep. * Grab-and-go breakfast was minimal. Though this is expected for an extended stay property, guests should be prepared to make their own breakfast. Overall Impression: While I wouldn't choose this location again for a short leisure stay, I think it serves its purpose for families on vacation or individuals in need of a longer-term, budget-friendly option with kitchen access. Cleanliness and staff availability were definite highlights, but the comfort level and dated environment left something to be desired. #YelpEliteSquad

Our room was decent in size but smelled terrible, likely due to the dirty carpet. The noisy air conditioning forced us to turn it off every night to be able to sleep. The lack of sound insulation made us hear everything happening in the hallway. The worst part was discovering that the carbon monoxide monitor was out of batteries, and there was no maintenance staff available to replace them, so the same woman who was at the front desk came to assist, but she didn't know what type of batteries were needed and couldn't resolve the issue. Eventually, she had to assign us a different room. Breakfast was standard for this hotel. Overall, we feel that this hotel is overpriced, as it is old and in need of many renovations. (Negative 5 Stars) I…read morewas placed at this hotel by my insurance company and was originally booked for a one-month stay. However, I was required to leave after only three days. During my stay, several advertised amenities were unavailable. The swimming pool had reportedly been closed for an extended period, and no employee could provide an anticipated repair date. The lobby computer was also out of service, which created a significant inconvenience because I needed access to review and print important documents. In addition, my room door lock had a recurring problem. On multiple occasions, my key card would not unlock the door, and a front desk receptionist advised me that my particular room had an ongoing issue with the lock not consistently recognizing room keys. My primary concern involved my interaction with hotel management. I was informed that I was being required to leave the hotel based upon complaints from multiple employees. When I asked for specifics, I was told that employees had allegedly observed me participating in a drug transaction in the parking lot the night before. I categorically deny that allegation and immediately requested that surveillance footage be reviewed because I maintain that no such event ever occurred. During that same conversation, the manager stated, "This is why I don't like long-term guests." The statement was made in the context of the allegation that employees had supposedly observed a drug transaction in the parking lot. As someone who had been placed at the hotel for a long-term insurance stay, I found that comment concerning. After being told that employees had allegedly observed a drug transaction on the property and hearing the manager state, "This is why I don't like long-term guests," I became uncomfortable remaining at the hotel. If management truly believed such activity was occurring on the property, I did not feel comfortable staying there and had no interest in returning. Rather than reviewing any surveillance footage with me or discussing the matter further, I was instructed to leave the property or the police would be called. In my opinion, the manager was unnecessarily loud and abrasive during this interaction, which occurred at the front desk in the presence of other guests and employees. After relocating to another hotel, I was informed that the manager had contacted my lodging vendor and reported that I intended to return to the property. I never made such a statement. What I actually said was that I intended to file a complaint with Holiday Inn corporate regarding my treatment, after which I left the hotel. Because the allegations made against me were serious, I immediately requested preservation of all relevant evidence, including surveillance footage, incident reports, emails, notes, and communications relating to my stay. A formal demand for preservation of evidence was sent to both hotel management and Holiday Inn's customer relations department. As a retired physician who practiced Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology for nearly three decades and who has also served as a medical expert consultant, I take my reputation very seriously. Being publicly accused of involvement in criminal activity was deeply upsetting and, in my view, completely unwarranted. Preserving my dignity and professional reputation is more important to me than any legal expense I may incur pursuing the truth of what occurred. Readers can draw their own conclusions based on the facts described above. Based on my experience, I would not stay at this property again.

Unfortunately, my experience attending to a wedding hosted here this past weekend at The Loom Hotel (Tapestry by Hilton) was profoundly far from that. The Service Failures: MORNING FRONT DESK: The level of incompetence and rudeness is alarming. The morning front desk staff (specifically the receptionist with glasses) was dismissive, refused to make eye contact during check-in, and openly complained about answering phones--( I mean you kinda pay her for doin' that right?, well she's complaining with the guests about doing her work and it's uncomfortable ). Now, problem solving skills: 0, when we inquired about a room pre-arranged by the bride's mother, her response was blunt and stupid without any attempt to assist or verify the reservation. HOSTILE LATE-NIGHT FRONT DESK: The experience on Saturday night was worse. After a technical issue with my key to access the hotel, I was met with condescending remarks and aggressive shouting from the night-shift receptionist rather than assistance. Hearing her complain about me and others with the same problem while I stood in the lobby was out of line and rude. This is not the standard of service one expects from a Hilton property. Hotel Standards: HOUSEKEEPING: Housekeeping standards are nonexistent. Beds were not made daily, trash was left in the room and just one little soap. It is baffling that this hotel holds any "Best of 2025" status when basic cleanliness is overlooked. BREAKFAST: The breakfast was inedible, ex: low-quality powdered eggs with rubbery bacon. The only highlight was the kind waitress who speaks Spanish: Grace, her high quality of service and kindness was the only things that made the meals here tolerable. WEDDING PLANNERS, I have no idea how you can even think of suggesting this hotel as a wedding venue. The facilities are totally unsuitable, and I'm sure there are a thousand better options than this rundown/makeshift hotel. COUPLES, seriously, do not book this hotel for your wedding--among all the guests, you could only hear comments similar to mine, and we were a large wedding... consider yourselves warned!.
