Overall the place was pretty nice. The check in process was simple and quick. The lobby can be entered through multiple doors depending on where you parked. The room was clean and housekeeping did an amazing job during my stay. The one thing I didn't like was the room didn't have a microwave, so you had to travel to one of the other designated floors and use the microwave that was at the end of the floor. It just felt awkward and uncomfortable. I'd stay again if needed.

Crowne Plaza is a large hotel located in Warwick, RI. It's in a central location near TF Green airport, Warwick Mall, Providence, Newport, and highways. There are large meeting spaces and they're known to hosts many events. The parking lot was huge and complimentary; there is one electric vehicle charging spot. The amenities include, indoor pool, fitness center, restaurant, bar, coffee shop, and shuttle service. I've been to many events over the years there, including a New Year's Eve party and a wedding. The space is clean and modern. My family and I stayed there recently. The room was nice. We had a king bed, a chair, large TV, desk, Keurig machine, and decent bathroom. The bed was comfy and the pillows were great and firm. I've been to many hotels where the pillows are just limp and flat. The room was quiet and I didn't hear my neighbors. Unfortunately, there was some sort of youth sports conference event the weekend we went and the pool was packed everyday with tweens. Needless to say, we didn't get to swim in the pool. Overall, we did have a nice stay and would definitely stay there again.

Not too pleased.. lovely place as always/ been to weddings , corporate events and other functions here and loved it but this was not one of my favorites. Unfortunately my experience was not what i expected. It started at 11am.. we didn't get in until 11:50.. and we had purchased VIP (which in the VIP area once we finally got in, was not served any drinks that were promised and others had before our arrival.. my two friends and I ALL had different items in our "swag bags" missing items but it wasn't a big deal to mention on scene) Hyped this event up a lot more than it was.. not as many vendors as I expected .. the ones there were great but for a woman's expo they probably should have timed down on the home improvement tables.. but we didn't purchase a decent amount from the tables we loved, jewelry, sons vodka, Edgewood cheese , air and anchor, martucci group, I was pleased to buy soaps lotions and sprays from the magnesium group.. But overall I really expected more. Connie (contstance stowers) was amazing as always, she killed it ! Please follower her if you don't already!!

My stay here was pretty good, but I had the unfortunate luck to stay when some youth hockey (I think) team stayed. The hotel did thoughtfully put signs about quiet hours, but kids really have to talk at full volume walking down the hallway late into the night. I hope those kids lost! So the rooms definitely aren't soundproof, but it was clean and comfortable. There is breakfast but you have to prebuy it when booking or pay on arrival (before is cheaper). The pool is okay but small. The gym is unfortunately attached to the pool and subject to its limited hours when most hotel gyms are 24/7. There is plenty of parking, and this site has a lot of rooms and hosts events, so it may be a bit of a hike sometimes and elevators are a bit slow. Otherwise I had a good stay, and even better when those noisy kids left.

Showed up for what I thought was going to be a peaceful getaway only to see this.

I showed up here excited to have a relaxing and peaceful getaway. Instead, I walked into a lobby filled with at least five dozen children screaming, yelling, and racing all around with hockey sticks. I looked up to see a giant sign that said "Welcome Teams!" and knew this was not going to be the calm weekend that I had planned. When I got to the counter, I had to practically scream for the receptionist to hear me, because the room was full of screaming kids. She was extremely nice and told me that the quiet zone room I had reserved wouldn't be available because every single floor was booked with kids sportsball teams. While I canceled my stay, at least three other people who were staying at the hotel came down to complain about the shrieking kids everywhere. As I walked out, another half dozen kids came running in through the out door. I thought this would be a more upscale hotel, but it's more like a place that hosts big events. Not upscale at all. Seems more oriented toward families, but on the website it gives the false impression of a quiet resort-type vibe. For the price, it should be. Ruined my whole weekend and created a massive hassle.

We had a great stay. Very clean. The only convention was a veterans convention. They upgraded us because of our IHG status which was a plus! I've noticed some IHG don't do that and they suppose too! Pleasant staff!

Front desk assistant manager Bim was rude and not very customer friendly. I recommend putting a better first impression person at the front.

Is there a self-service laundry room? (coin operated washers/dryers)

Does this place have a pool? I've seen some mention of it but no pictures, which is strange.

I believe so and it's indoors. I never used it, but have seen it

She continued to be so helpful and excited, giving recommendations for all kinds of vendors we'd need. The day of the party she was professional and hands-on, making sure everything got done on a quick timeline. She calmed nerves and had great suggestions on where things should go to make sure everything flowed just right. Beautiful historic building who's tour guides added in a true life murder mystery of the lady of the houses death. This really added to the event as it was so my scene and absolutely fun. I would def host an event here because unlike the Newport mansions I could touch things and see things in the midst of being historically preserved since they're still restoring the house. The only thing it had going for it was, it was the only bathroom out of the three that the floor tiles weren't all broken. The lovely room that we had to settle on, because it was 11 o'clock at night, may have been worse than the first two. It came with not one, but two mouse traps. The floors were filthy and disgusting clearly again not vacuumed. The floors were so bad. I had to wash my feet in the morning before I put my socks on. You could visibly see the dirt discolor the water in the bathtub when I did so. The surfaces had not been fully wiped. Upon arrival the room was at 68 (below 30 outside) soooo turned that sucker up. Put it on 74 and thought it would warm up overnight. Arrived pretty late, after 11pm. To my suppose the room was still at 68. And getting out of a warm bed to that was not my idea of a good morning. I called the front desk and the agent confirmed I was using the right thermostat to control the temp and noted that maintenance would check it. That was fixed as when I returned it was a nice balmy 76! Downside though was the unit did an odd cycling thing with warm air....cold air...warm air. So it never shut off at night and tan the entire time. Their drive way is odd, one way only and Tuesday morning there was a delivery truck blocking the exit. Thankfully no one else was behind us so we were able to back out. The room felt very industrial. Concrete walls and high ceilings, with an almost open concept bathroom. Barn door and the shower was a waterfall (over head) with hand held option thankfully. If you've got curtly hair, you know why a waterfall shower is the worst. And to ere was no shower cap as an option. The shower itself did not go all the way to the ceiling which also meant there was no barrier between you and the room. If share with a partner may not be bad but with friends, that's a nightmare. Other downside was the lock was funky. When leaving for dinner, thank goodness I checked the lock as it did not lock. I had to open the door and mess with it to finally lock. All in all decent hotel however I can't say I'd stay again.
