The initial repair person who came to see what caused the flood was the one who told me that the overflow preventer install caused the flood yet Appolo refused to reimburse me for the insurance deductible. Two years later another (different) company came for routine maintenance and showed me that the original ductwork was poorly designed because there is a rule that there should be 24 inches between secondary ducts and the end of each main line; it is clear on most online descriptions that this is ideal for maximum air flow through the system. When Appoly did the original install I had them come back because the air flow felt insufficient and they told me it was by design because the goal is to run the unit for a long time at a lower air flow for consistent temperature!!

I explained that I was expecting an estimate and that I'd be going out of state for two weeks and hoped the estimate would arrive by the time I got back. it did, and I had questions, so I called back. The woman who answered the phone seemed confounded by my request and said I needed to sign the contract and send it back. I explained again that I had questions that needed to be answered first.
