We do trade shows 4-5 times a year and need to rent a van to haul our huge display to the show. Have rented from Rob at Comfort 3 times so far and are renting from them again tomorrow. Every time we've done so the van has been nice and new and clean, the service is always with a smile and a hug (minus the hug), and it's great because they have a good sized lot were we can leave our car during the rental time period. Wow, Unbelievably RUDE to their customers. I tried renting two passenger vans from these guys. I was quoted price on the phone and when I called back to book the rental the price had changed. When I asked why the price changed the guy on the phone instantly became rude, condescending, and augmentative. I needed a truck to move some furniture. I originally reserved a pretty large truck. Upon my arrival and speaking to Rob, he suggested I rent a slightly smaller truck for my needs. He even took the time to show me the difference between the 2 trucks. Since I lived on a dead end street, it was helpful to know the manuverabiliy of the van between street and driveway. Both Rob and CJ were very courteous and professional. Their trucks, equipment and accessories were clean. Reservation went smoothly. I would definitely rent from Comfort Auto Rental again. read more

I used to try to use Comfort auto when I could, but after my last rental, I will NOT be using them ever again. I had gone through the cash toll with my rental car and the computer did not register when I threw change into the basket. I thought this was the case and so I called the day that I returned the rental and asked them to notify me right away if they got a notification that the toll was unpaid. I spoke with someone for a long time and they said to not worry about it and they would keep an eye out. One month later I got a bill for the unpaid toll in the mail and realized that a $15 charge had been charged on my credit card from Comfort Auto Rental. No one ever called me to notify me, even though I had explicitly notified them of this situation and I had spoken to someone directly who assured me that they would keep me informed. When I called to get the car information to pay the toll and express my frustrations about being charged without notice even though I had gone out of my way to communicate about this particular toll situation, the man I spoke to brushed me off and said, "I have someone else calling." I have much less of a problem with the actual $15 charge as I understand that as policy. My frustrations are with their lack of communication after I had gone out of my way to make sure they were aware of a potential impending toll notification and the way I was invalidated when I went to express my concerns. The other rental company that I use is Hertz where prices are lower, where I always get discounts, where customer service is top notch, and where they are much better about communicating their policies. I will definitely only be using Hertz from now on. read more

I've rented from Comfort a few times. Most recently I needed a large cargo van to move some office fixtures. Everything went as smooth as can be expected. Guy behind the counter was friendly, efficient and polite. He gave me a quick run down of the van's controls and, knowing that I was only going to put on a few miles, provided a tip about the gas station down the road: "They don't get upset if you only buy a few dollars of fuel to top off the tank." I was only on local roads and never got it over 40 MPH, but the vehicle seemed like it was in great shape. I stopped at the recommended gas station and had the van back within 2 hours, wrapped up the paperwork and was done. Because Comfort's minimum rental is 24 hours it cost me more than I would have paid to Home Depot for a "rent-by-the-hour", but Comfort was quick and hassle free so I felt it was worth the additional cost. I'd rent from Comfort again in a heartbeat. read more

Robert was completely rude and nasty on the phone. He was condescending and did not handle himself in a professional manner. I would not recommend using this company. There are many other rental places that conduct their businesses in more professional ways and treat their customers with more respect. read more

I rent a car there every year. The owners are very nice and professional. The prices are reasonable. We had a problem with thier GPS, but they didn't charge us for it. I will definitely continue to use this business for my needs and I do recommend them in the most positive way. read more

Just rented a car for the night while in town visiting family, and truly lucked out with finding this car rental company. They were courteous, kind, professional, and will be the only place i rent from whenever i return home for holidays and such. I'm convinced the people who wrote these bad reviews are either competition with this company, sociopaths, a-holes, or all/some of the above. The people here are fruit of the Earth. Ed and Matt were especially awesome, and the other gentleman who i returned the car to when i was done with it, was cool and friendly as well. read more
