Great work ethic, reliable, and honest. Won't tell you that you need a new system when you don't like most HVAC companies.

We had a HVAC tune up & inspection last month. Our traditional original gas furnace & A/C were…read morestill running but we're barely able to keep up with this summer's heat. We learned about the Federal tax credit that expires at the end of this year & all the new regulations for Title 24 in California. We decided to upgrade our system now instead of next year because of the higher costs in 2026 for all the new rules & regulations. We decided on a RUUD heat pump system from Love's Air. They were great with the entire process from financing to installation. The day of the install Love's text me a photo of one of the installation team members, Xavier. Followed shortly with a phone call from him. Xavier, Wyatt, & Tim all arrived on time as scheduled. They explained everything about the installation & each went to work with their assigned duties. Every team member was respectful & took excellent care of our home. Floor & shoe covers, furniture & clothes were covered anywhere near the areas they were working. Took about 6 hours to demo the old system & install the new one. Everything step was thoroughly explained as they worked through the day. The new system included a Nest thermostat & as Xavier helped me setup the Google Home app, Wyatt & Tim cleaned up everything. Swept up the driveway & left the home cleaner than when they arrived! We couldn't be happier with our new heatpump & it's worked perfectly for 2+ weeks. We've had the first of 2 inspections completed with no issues. We've can't recommend Love's Air enough & extremely satisfied with the quality of workmanship & professionalism of the entire team at Love's Air!

Update- for the owner! 1. Prior to yesterday's visit, we just had a maintenance performed last week and all was good. No immediate recommendations was given. 3. If as your said this could happen, shouldn't your technician go over the possible issues with us before he start operating? He was here for less than 15 mins and broke the compressor. 4. I am in awe that after management showed up they told us it's just bad luck and they cannot take any responsibility. Then proceeded to give me a quote for 6-7k for a replacement compressor. 5. I had a working AC and your technician showed up, within 15 mins, messed up my AC and give me a quote for 6-7k? If you were me, what would you say? What is fair is fair, in this hot weather and I just had a surgery and I have no AC and now what do I do? I also have a feeling it's not the first time this tech messed up. 6. I will attach my service export a week ago from your company and all the research I have done! This is the 1st part of my review. We have used loves air to maintenance our AC unit for 3 years now. A week ago the tech Joel showed up and said everything was fine. We did have to add some freon a year old and was told we have a small leak & provided quotes. My husband decided to go forward with the leak & add more freon. Yesterday around 11:20 Joel showed up, as he was adding liquids, the compressor made a hizzing sounds & Joel attempted to cool it and it made banging noise & the whole thing stopped working l. My husband immediately came inside and told me" I think he messed up" and got very worried , he spent about another hour working and cooling and trying to get it to work and no luck. He came back and told us, the compressor went bad the same time he arrived it and quoted us over 6k for a replacement. I said no way, my AC was working before you showed up, it went bad because you broke it, probably because you poured it too fast. ( we chatgbt is right away as he was attempting to fix it) he said no, it's just bad luck. We proceeded to call office and a supervisor came out and told us the same thing, said just bad luck and they can't take any responsibility.I was in shock, I told them I do not have 6k to fix a part they broke and now I have no AC. I called office again asking for the owner and was told owner does not handle this and we will have a conference call Monday morning with office manager. I know this guy broke it and doesn't want to take responsibility. If owner see my review I hope you have the decency to contact me and make this right.

I paid $150 for a diagnostic fee to DHA Mechanical. Jhonny Sibrian from DHA visited my home,…read morecompleted a diagnostic report, and provided an extremely high quote (several hundred dollars more than other quotes I had received). I was upset because I was between jobs, and I wanted to get the work done by them only if their quote matched the other estimates. Jhonny wrote negative remarks about me in his report, even though I paid $150 for it. He then put me on the phone with Paul, and we agreed on $900 (still higher than my other quotes) to repair all the issues identified in Jhonny's diagnostic report. Later, they wanted to create a contract and assured me that all issues from the diagnostic report would be addressed. They required a 50% upfront payment. I expected to pay $450, and when they sent a payment link, I entered $450. However, their payment system charged $463.50 without my consent. I complained to Paul and Sheri, and they said it was standard because they had switched to a new payment system. I disagreed and told them that on the day of repair, I would pay the remaining $436.50 by check. The contract Paul prepared failed to include the flame sensor replacement, even though it was clearly mentioned in the diagnostic report and discussed in detail during Jhonny's visit (since the flame sensor was visibly damaged). I missed this omission when signing the contract. I expected Paul to act in good faith and fix all issues based on the diagnostic report prepared by Jhonny. During and after the repair, the flame sensor issue came up again. Jhonny said it was not in the contract, acknowledged that this was a mistake, and told me Paul would correct it and that he would return to replace it once Paul approved. In good faith, I decided to absorb the earlier transaction fee and paid $450 by check instead of $436.50. After that, Paul avoided me for several weeks by not responding to emails or phone calls. Finally, he emailed me while I was out of town, stating that he did not agree to replace the flame sensor. He was rude and bullying on the phone and hung up on me. ----- UPDATE: A customer grievance BBB complaint was registered and all documentation was submitted to them and awaiting response.

Review for DHA Mechanical…read more I hired DHA Mechanical for an HVAC system evaluation. The diagnostic fee was $525 -- which felt high compared to other companies I spoke with, but to be fair, the technician spent over two hours on-site and provided a detailed report. The cost seemed tied to time and expertise, not just a flat service fee. I spoke with Paul afterward (likely the owner), and he was clearly knowledgeable, especially about zoning and more complex HVAC setups. If you're looking for a high-end, white-glove install, DHA might be a good fit. That said, there were a few misses. The attic access cover wasn't put back after the evaluation. Paul acknowledged the oversight as a simple mistake, but no one returned to address it until a day or two later, despite me notifying them promptly. More importantly, the system replacement bid I received wasn't competitive -- significantly higher than other reputable proposals -- which made the upfront diagnostic feel like a sunk cost rather than a step toward a practical solution. Bottom line: DHA brings solid technical know-how, but expect premium pricing. Clarify what your evaluation includes up front -- and keep shopping if cost is a key factor.

He gave us an estimate which we thought was reasonable and went with him to provide us with this new heating system. Took 3 days to complete the project. Starting from scratch as we only had a floor furnace before. They installed the machine, ran new duct work throughout our home. They were prompt everyday, they likewise cleaned up at the end of everyday. They explained the online function and helped us to get the app needed to control the unit from our cell phones. We were very pleased with the end result and would recommend them whole heartedly.

He was originally responsive when I told him my system wasn't blowing cold air in the summer. He came out and said he found a leak and fixed it. The next summer, it also wasn't blowing cold air and was dropping condensation onto our wood floors. I continued to call him but he would not answer my calls. I called him from my wife's phone and he picked up right away. He told me he would come out again to check the system but after that, refused to answer calls from both phones. This was an expensive system and he tried to do the install as quick as he could while taking shortcuts. To make it worse, you can't even get ahold of him to follow up on mistakes. Save yourself the headache and choose someone on yelp with a lot of reviews...this guys a headache.
