Do not trust this guy Mike! My AC was working at morning time and night time it just wasn't cooling down all the way during the day I figured I need a new coolant since we had coolant had it before, literally after he touched it when he said he couldn't even put a reader on it because the compressor capacitor didn't work,, and that basically we needed a whole new system for about $12,000, literally the night he left and after that the house wouldn't cool at night or in the morning at all now completely just hot air, so we decided to have other a/c people look at it, they were able to run the proper test which this company said that they weren't because it didn't run which it did they did the test and they also ran the pressure test on the lines, they showed me that there was no pressure zero psi meaning that there was no coolant in the lines when there was coolant today before this company did a check, they even less the valve caps off of the lines the guy that came to check and said all they had to do was just push in the valve and let coolant out, I had to call back this company to get a refund which they still have not refunded my money, and I'm gonna report them to the Better Business Bureau and other BEAR about their licensing and also possible lawsuit because they told me that in order to fill this up now it would be $1400 and that was the cheap and because I believe this company was trying to tell me two to $3000k do not go to this guy he is a scammer his company is a scam! And then when I asked him what did he actually do all he kept on saying was it we have five star reviews! He literally took my money said he couldn't do a diagnostics because the unit wasn't running when the other people came he said there wasn't anything wrong with it it's running it just doesn't have any coolant he did all of this so we would basically get a new unit trying to charge me anywhere from $10-$15,000! I had A+ heating and air replace my central heat and air system about 2 years ago. They came out and did the work. I had a feeling at the time that something was off. My AC is struggling this summer and I decided to hire someone else. I learned that A+ Heating and Air did not file permits with the county to do the work. They cut a ton of corners. Didn't install things correctly, pipes were not sealed and there are issues with with the electrical outlets and the drip plate. Avoid this company at all costs. I read all the reviews and decided to give them a call to work on our heating system. The guy (I'm going to leave names out) came by the day we called and was quick to diagnose the problem. He said it would run us around $1500.00 to fix the issue. We scheduled him for the next day. He said "first thing in the morning". At 10:30 I called to find out around what time he would make it, the lady that answered the phone told me he was going to make it between 2:00 and 4:00pm. I called at 3:45 to see if he was going to make it. The same lady told me she would find out where he was and what time he was going to be here. After 30 minutes of waiting for her to call me back I decided I'd call her. She told me he was going to be here but couldn't tell me when. I'm not impressed with the professionalism of the company. I think the other reviews are employees and not actual customers. At 4:07 I finally got a call from the "technician" telling me he got into an accident and he'd be here at 5:00. I cancelled. This company is too unprofessional. I'd give negative stars if the app would allow it. Update to the update. I found a different hvac company they came out and discovered that there was a hose that was disconnected. He reconnected the hose and checked the thermostat. It needed to be replaced. Just the thermostat!! A+ was going to charge me $1500.00 after disconnecting a hose from my system. RIP OFF ARTIST!! SCAMMERS!! Dishonest company!! I did not notice an appreciable improvement in the AC after it was added. Later, I called another well-rated HVAC contractor, who came out, replaced a fuse and did some other work, adding nearly $500 to the total charges. A+ should have found this and the leak as well. I had used Alladin for the past 20 years for the heat and air at my property in Stockton. They had installed a new furnace and AC unit for me in 2013 or thereabouts. I'd had them come out to do a regular maintenance service twice a year for years. I was happy with them. Then they sold their business and became A+ Heating and Air. I recently had them go out and service a problem with the communication between my thermostat and furnace. It was a minor problem and quickly repaired, for which they charged $250. As soon as I received their invoice (I had to call them several times before they finally emailed it to me) I set it up for payment by my bank. A check was sent to them and cashed. Then 3 weeks later I received a notice of non payment from A+ Heating and Air. I checked...my statement shows it was paid and cashed several weeks ago, the check being submitted for mailing the day I received their invoice. I call the bank, they confirm the account which cashed the check was A+ Heating and Air. The bank also confirmed that the money went into the A+ bank account at JP Morgan Chase. I sent A+ HVAC copies of the check payment information..which has their invoice number as well as a reference of the property address for their service on the check memo. Frankly I believe this company was trying to scam me because I am elderly. Maybe they thought I am too old to remember whether or not I have paid my bills. Or too old to use the technology and research my bank statements and bill payments online. Either that or their accountant doesn't have a clue about how to reconcile their books! Somehow, they received and deposited $250 without being able to reconcile that payment to the invoice. So be forewarned...if you want to use this company, be prepared to spend hours proving that you've paid them! I will not be going through this again. read more

Still waiting for job to be completed. Install of new HVAC unit was on 7/20/24. Was not easy to communicating with install tech but AC unit was installed nicely in backyard. However, insulation for furnace area in garage was not completed. Tech did not have insulation material to complete job. What? Ok. Was told someone would reach out to schedule insulation. Never received a call. I left a message and sent an email this week. Have yet to be contacted. Seems once they get paid, they are done. I was promised a 10-yr warranty. I can see I will struggle getting someone out if ever needed. And the new HVAC unit did nothing to lower my PGE bill which is why I called in first place.
