Advance Mechanical replaced the HVAC systems in our house in Brook Valley last year. During that…read moreprocess, they were expert, responsive, and thorough. We were especially impressed with the fact they reengineered the system for performance and efficiency rather than simply sticking new equipment in place of the old. Their personnel were friendly, informative, and very respectful of our home and privacy. The new system has made our home far more comfortable - both temperature and humidity control has been tremendously improved. We have also seen substantial savings on utilities - both electric and gas. What had been a consistent source of trouble and expense in our home is now a source of comfort and savings. A 5-star rating would be justified If this was the end of the story. Just recently, however, the compressor failed - apparently a factory defect unrelated to any of the work by Advance Mechanical. The part is under warranty, but the manufacturer would not pay for labor to replace it because the install was just over a year ago (and the manufacturer's "labor warranty" is only 1-year even though the part warranty is 5-year). This was no surprise to us, the specifics of the warranty were explained to us when we decided on this equipment. Advance Mechanical, however, decided that this scenario was not acceptable and replaced the compressor at their own expense - we didn't even ask them for that! Clearly, we are pleased and very satisfied with our decision to engage Advanced Mechanical. Indeed, we are relieved that we found a capable and reliable company that takes pride in their work and reputation. I hope this review will help other people make a similar choice.

We were so satisfied with their honesty and integrity that in 2020, when it came time to replace our system we had them do the work. They come out twice a year to check the system to ensure that it's running properly and efficiently. I highly recommend this company for all your HVAC needs!

A Harsh Lesson in Trust: Thousands Paid, Zero Relief from Delcor's Broken Promises. As someone who…read moreco-financed the HVAC installation with Delcor, I felt compelled to share my own perspective, because this ordeal hasn't just cost us money; it's cost us trust, time, and peace of mind. From the outset, we were sold a vision of reliability. A reputable company, a full-service experience, and the comfort of knowing our tenant would be taken care of. What we received instead was a dysfunctional unit from day one. Two weeks later, it's still not working--and not a single person at Delcor is stepping up to resolve the issue in any meaningful way. I'm not just speaking as a frustrated customer--I'm speaking as someone who tried to do everything right. We didn't go with a cut-rate contractor. We chose a well-known company and paid upfront for a full system. That trust was met with radio silence, departmental runarounds, and a shocking lack of urgency. Let me be clear: the unit had defects from the moment it was declared "installed." It leaked. It was missing critical components. And instead of taking accountability, Delcor has chosen delay over resolution. They continue to request final payment for a job that isn't done. Not working. Not livable. In the meantime, we had no choice but to spend more out of pocket for a temporary cooling solution--just so a human being wouldn't have to suffer in an unconditioned space during a heatwave. If you're thinking of hiring Delcor, ask yourself this: What happens if the install goes wrong? Who will pick up the phone? Who will stand by their work? Based on our experience, the answer is no one. This review isn't about venting--it's about warning. If you're looking for true end-to-end service, or a company that takes responsibility when things go south, I urge you to look elsewhere. The cost of choosing wrong goes far beyond dollars.

We called the company on…read moreMemorial Day and were told that he had two service calls to go on and then he would be by to give an estimate on the work. (We also needed two faucets to be replaced and figured it would be easier to get it done at the same time as the toilet.) Well, he did not show up at all that night. We didn't receive a courtesy call either. It only takes a moment to call someone back and apologize that you won't be able to make it that night after all. Hopefully they pick up on this practice in the future. The next morning, the guy called us back and said he would be at the house around 9 or 9:30 and apologized that he got an emergency call the night before. (Again, it only takes a moment for a courtesy call once you've told someone you're going to be there for an estimate.) He did arrive around 9:45. He did a quick look at the work and quoted at half what another company quoted over the phone (without seeing any of the work.) He stayed and did the work. It took him a total of six hours to complete the valve replacement on the toilet and installing the two faucets. He had two cell phones with him that rang constantly. And every time one rang, he took the time to answer it. I thought this was quite a bit unprofessional, especially since some of the calls sounded like personal calls. The calls greatly slowed down the work. Unfortunately, one of the replacement faucets we purchased was faulty and we had to get it replaced before he could finish the work. During the twenty minutes it took to go down to Lowe's and replace the part, he left to go do another call. Luckily it didn't take him long to come back after we called him and told him we replaced the part. So after this six hour ordeal, he finally finished the work and stuck to his quoted price. (Lucky us!) I can't really say I recommend or don't recommend this company. If you have all day for your plumbing problem to get fixed, then go for it. The guy is very nice. (This was just a little pet peeve, but he talks extremely loudly and I had a sleeping 4 mo old in the house.) He also kept asking us to clean up after him and tighten things here and there. Some things I feel he should have been doing himself. I probably won't use this company again.

However today I had him install a water heater that took him 45 mins. The only thing he had to do was take it out of the box and connect it. All the wires and fittings were already there so literally hook it up was all he had to do and he charged me 250.00. Told me this is what they been charging for 20 years. Could have been that way but I am sure there was a lot more to that price than connecting a couple of hoses and wires. On the high side I did not expect to pay no more that $100-$150.00 for this job. Reading the other review it appears to me he makes it up as he goes. The invoice he just jots down something to make it appear that he did something of value for the price.
