Advance Mechanical replaced the HVAC systems in our house in Brook Valley last year. During that…read moreprocess, they were expert, responsive, and thorough. We were especially impressed with the fact they reengineered the system for performance and efficiency rather than simply sticking new equipment in place of the old. Their personnel were friendly, informative, and very respectful of our home and privacy. The new system has made our home far more comfortable - both temperature and humidity control has been tremendously improved. We have also seen substantial savings on utilities - both electric and gas. What had been a consistent source of trouble and expense in our home is now a source of comfort and savings. A 5-star rating would be justified If this was the end of the story. Just recently, however, the compressor failed - apparently a factory defect unrelated to any of the work by Advance Mechanical. The part is under warranty, but the manufacturer would not pay for labor to replace it because the install was just over a year ago (and the manufacturer's "labor warranty" is only 1-year even though the part warranty is 5-year). This was no surprise to us, the specifics of the warranty were explained to us when we decided on this equipment. Advance Mechanical, however, decided that this scenario was not acceptable and replaced the compressor at their own expense - we didn't even ask them for that! Clearly, we are pleased and very satisfied with our decision to engage Advanced Mechanical. Indeed, we are relieved that we found a capable and reliable company that takes pride in their work and reputation. I hope this review will help other people make a similar choice.

The technician called me just before noon on Wednesday and told me he'd arrive in 20 minutes. He arrived just when he said. He (Josh) did a great job. He was very thorough. He checked the refrigerant level and the starting capacitor and thoroughly cleaned the coils. Took maybe 45 minutes.

I had to call the owner…read moreof the company and fuss at him because it took so long for them to begin the installation process. It was improperly installed from the beginning. One of the first nights we used it, it cut off because it wasn't draining properly. Before that, the installers drilled the holes for the upstairs registers in wrong place. The workers denied that they did it! To be honest, the company did make that right. The holes were filled and a painter came in to touch up. A few times a week during the summer, I have to go upstairs and dry out the the area around the air handler in the attic. Attached are some photos of the sweating of the upstairs unit and the improperly drilled holes. I'll not be using them for anything else. We had to replace our downstairs unit this summer. Needless to say, we didn't use Robersons!

T & D Heating and Cooling wired and serviced a brand new Mitsubishi mini-split system and branch…read morebox. I was forced to call them several times because the lines kept freezing up (see attached photo) it would not cool and the system would display a fault code. Despite my efforts explaining these problems, Thomas Holley (owner) & Graeme Chipperfield (tech) kept telling me there was nothing wrong... yet the system would never operate correctly. So I called Jacksonville Heating Contractors, several things were found wrong that T&D did; (1) the refrigerant was serviced wrong, (2) they did not pull the contamination out of the system and (3) the system was addressed wrong (see description on attached invoice). Several minutes after the Jacksonville tech left, the fault code came back. I called the tech and explained what was happening. He asked me to check the wiring at the branch box to see if the indoor units A & B were crossed. When I checked, (4) they were in fact crossed... I re-wired them and the the fault code disappeared. After all these corrections were made, the system has been operating without any problems, no line freezing, it cools/heats and no fault codes. I contacted T&D owners Thomas & Denise Holley several times asking for a "partial refund" from the $808.00 I paid them for the work they did wrong. I provided them with documentation from Jacksonville Heating Contractors and information from Mitsubishi Tech Support that identifies what they did was incorrect. But they refuse to even talk with me about this and take responsibility for the work they performed. T&D has shown no business ethics and the owners have no integrity to make this right. Beware!

Their quotewas reasonable and the installers were on time, very professional and very customer service oriented. Following the insulation they stayed with me to inspect all spaces to in sure I was satisfied with the function as well as the cleanup of the space. Could not be more pleased with our HVAC unit and the wonderful service we received from Anderson's. We highly recommend this company

From the outset, we were sold a vision of reliability. A reputable company, a full-service experience, and the comfort of knowing our tenant would be taken care of. What we received instead was a dysfunctional unit from day one. Two weeks later, it's still not working--and not a single person at Delcor is stepping up to resolve the issue in any meaningful way. I'm not just speaking as a frustrated customer--I'm speaking as someone who tried to do everything right. We didn't go with a cut-rate contractor. We chose a well-known company and paid upfront for a full system. That trust was met with radio silence, departmental runarounds, and a shocking lack of urgency. Let me be clear: the unit had defects from the moment it was declared "installed." It leaked. It was missing critical components. And instead of taking accountability, Delcor has chosen delay over resolution. They continue to request final payment for a job that isn't done. Not working. Not livable. In the meantime, we had no choice but to spend more out of pocket for a temporary cooling solution--just so a human being wouldn't have to suffer in an unconditioned space during a heatwave. If you're thinking of hiring Delcor, ask yourself this: What happens if the install goes wrong? Who will pick up the phone? Who will stand by their work?
