This area is an outdoor space with a decent amount of the higher end stores. It's stretches out a few block radius but the Main Street, El Paseo is where majority of the storefronts are. But then you have the outdoor mall, not really a mall but a little shopping strip. Here is where most of the higher end shops are located. You have Gucci, Bottega Venetta, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Company, to name a few. Not to mention a fairly decent amount of restaurants to add to the mix. Quite a few steakhouse and seafood restaurants. Plenty of parking along the street as well as the parking structure behind which is covered. The property and layout of the district is beautiful. Of course the desert theme is active with all the cactus and succulents. A few water features and a good amount of seating with umbrella from the sun. Even if you window shop or just browse the streets, this area is quite beautiful and nicely done. A fairly decent amount of stores and loads of restaurants. It's worth checking out. It's where you'll find the higher retailers in the desert.

This place would be your typical covered indoor mall. Theres not much to it besides the main stores with Macys, Dicks and JC Pennys as they're major department stores. They have some of the other basics you would get inside any mall. HM, Finish Line, Hollister, Lids, Vans, Bath and Body Works and so on. Your regular retail chain stores. It's a decent size mall that you could walk down the whole strip in no time. Not overly big. Lately whenever I pop in to windows shop, it's not that busy. But I guess now as school is starting soon it has picked up a lot. They do have some restaurants as well as smaller snack booth. It's sucks that this is the only mall in the desert. You would think that they would make it way better to cater to everyone. But I guess it's going well so far. Not a lot of stores that I've been to as they're new to me. Plenty of parking with outdoor as well as a covered parking structure in the back.

The first thing I saw was how FRESH and HEALTHY everything looked. The ingredients were vibrant and clearly prepared with care. After speaking with the owner, I learned this is a FAMILY OWNED business that recently opened, and I was one of their early customers. That made the experience even more meaningful. For my first visit, I tried the tuna wrap and it was AMAZING. The owner was PASSIONATE about the food and took the time to explain the menu and the value is great. You can tell there is real pride behind what they serve. They also offer WRAPS, FRESH SALADS, AND BURGERS, so there are plenty of options depending on what you want. The atmosphere was FRIENDLY, WELCOMING, AND FAMILY ORIENTED. If I am back at the mall, I will definitely come again. IF YOU ARE AT THE SHOPS AT PALM DESERT, GO UPSTAIRS AND CHECK OUT IT'S A WRAP. Dear Hubby and I popped in this afternoon as we had specific things we were seeking, including a bathing suit for him, a USB cable for my phone charger, and a few other items. He scored a nice swimsuit on clearance for ten bucks at Marshall's! I found the USB cable with proper end for $7. I also picked up a couple of items I wasn't specifically looking for, but were good deals and will come in handy. It's really convenient to be able to check out TJ Maxx and Marshall's in the same plaza. There's lots of free parking. The architecture includes colorful tiles and distinctive domes, which are noticable even several blocks away. I didn't get a chance to take in the whole of the place, but did notice signs for Target, Aldi, and Best Buy. The next time we come to the desert, this will likely lure us again for essentials we forgot to bring from home.

This wasn't just any poodle either. This was a fully groomed, cloud-like creature with a level of confidence most people don't have. The kind of poodle that looks like it has opinions about fabrics. It walked into the store like it had an appointment. There was a brief pause at the entrance... a moment to take it all in... and then a slow, deliberate stroll past the displays, as if deciding between classic monogram or something a little more understated this season. And the best part? No one reacted Everyone just... accepted it ..... As if this poodle had been there before. As if it had a purchase history At one point it stopped near a display.... looked up ever so slightly, and I swear it gave off the energy of "this one, but in a different color." I didn't see what it left with, but I have a strong feeling it wasn't empty-handed. Only in Palm Desert do you find yourself watching a poodle casually browse Louis Vuitton... and somehow, it makes perfect sense.

I also purchased my Align Scoopneck Cami and my Align Racerback tank in Lilac Play The service was great and the sale prices were very good. It was a better outlet than then the Camarillo outlet which is my home Lululemon outlet back home in Calabasas. I definitely will be returning back to the Lululemon Cabazon outlet, the next time I'm in the desert. When we went in, we were expecting a Nordstom's Rack experience, but Saks Off 5th was way better than that. Lots of room to look around, everything sorted by brand, and very helpful staff. The woman who helped us took 15 minutes searching for a skirt that we described, and we finally found it. $49. Saks Off 5th will now be our favorite place to shop.
