I desperately needed a shirt with my logo for an event I was participating in the next day. I found Comik Ink in a google search and decided to give them a try and I'm so happy I did! I called and spoke to the kind gentleman over the phone and told him what I needed. He instructed me to send an email and come in, which I did. Pretty reliable and fast service. Customer service is on point. Weird hours, some times they seem closed when they are open so call or go there and knock if needed but they are pretty legit and busy working most times. Love supporting my black-owned businesses. I stumbled across this hidden gem as I was on my way home from the mall. I needed some last minute printing & got right on yelp - after calling 4 different locations that turned me away I called Comik Ink. Leslie was so friendly and welcoming! She talked me through my design as I drove over and when I arrived she allowed me to work together with her to have my vision come to life! Not only that but she valued my opinion rather than telling me what she envisioned would look best. I almost gave up but I'm glad I didn't. Everyone here was friendly, easy going and extremely helpful. Not only that but it is a black owned business (okayyyy y'all) and I see that they're giving employment opportunities to younger pre-teens and teens in the neighborhood. How amazing is that? I came in excited to describe my logo for my own brand i am looking to launch next weekend . I've tried to explain my idea , someone came in randomly and began to speak the gentleman that i was speaking to . The gentleman literally cut me off , began to speak to the person behind me for about 2 minutes and when he was done , he didn't think to apologize for cutting me off in the middle of my conversation instead was just looking at me as I'd i was supposed to know when he was finish with his conversation . I try to support young, local, BLACK BUSINESSES as i am a potential BLACK entrepreneur myself. However , customer service is the HIGHLIGHT to your quality !! I was referred to this place through a friend. First I called and spoke to a wonderful young lady named kita, who was very helpful, and set up an appointment to check out their graphic designs. When I arrived , once again i was pleased with the customer service. I explained the concept of my business , and she took it from there ;she created so many different designs it was so hard to choose. Went in there to get some color prints made up. Told me that color prints are $1.50... When its .69 at Staples... But really upset me when he said he did not have an SD card reader to print out my images... I have a 7 year old computer that has an SD card slot, so I dont think that was the reason for not taking my job... I felt unwelcomed and just left. read more
