Needed an emergency print job for Court (about 300pages). I walked in to Remsen Graphics at around 8:30am with a just a usb and he had all my documents printed and bound in under 25 minutes. In all my years in college, I never once had to get something printed, especially ASAP, until today. I was absolutely thrilled to know I didn't need a flash drive to give them my work. I was able to email it to them directly from the dropbox app on my phone. Luckily I had a PNG and PDF file since they preferred PDF for printing. The print result was beautiful and perfect and I happily gave my 2.50 for an 11x17 print. They did it right away too. I wasn't there more than 20 min and most of it was me trying to get service on my phone to access my email/dropbox. Service was fantastic and reminded me of the old school mom and pop shops I used to go to for my art needs. Both guys I spoke to were very helpful and patient. 09/15/15 Nice people and great service. Needed a quick printout of post cards, not many at all. Price was very good and they had the job done in less than 20 minutes. A place on Joralemon wanted a ridiculous sum for the same job. Remsen Graphics is a little pricier than Staples and Kinko's, but it's because you are getting top quality prints! I am not rich, but when you want good quality prints, you gotta pay for it, and it's so worth it every single time. I go to school nearby, and I've been to this place since freshman year. The employees are super friendly and helpful, and they value their customers. One time, I had to reprint the same file within an hour because I had to lighten the image. Remsen Graphics has no peer when it comes to any type of printing, binding, digital scanning, faxing, or production work in NYC, and I've been to just about every copy shop there is in Brooklyn and Manhattan. For over 25 years, I've given them my briefs. They do flawless work. Many other print shops do not offer tape printing, which is a requirement in appellate courts, but Remsen does. This little shop around the corner from Kinko's in Brooklyn Heights ROCKS. I went to Kinko's first, but the one person working the machines couldn't get to my 14 pages until the next day. So, by recommendation, I went to Remsen Graphics. They showed me onscreen what my project would look like, printed a sample and trimmed it.Then proceeded to print and trim the rest. All in one 20 minute visit. They are personable and helpful. I highly recommend them. Plus, they have 35mm photo printing and passport photos. read more

After being told by the FedEx whatever near my house that they don't do passport photos even though it says they do on their yelp page. I slogged over in the rain to the next closest option. The place was crowded but I was seen in like 1 minute and received my copies in 1 minute and they came out beautiful! Their price was actually cheaper than Fed Ex. I'm so happy I stopped in to Remsen Graphics! After an aggravating visit to the FedEx one block away, I remembered Remsen Graphics and thought to bring my print job to them. Thank God! The two attendants were very friendly...like, wow, someone is happy to provide good service! They stepped in to help right away, and even offered to show me samples of my print job before starting. No fireworks, just good customer service. I took off one star because they werent able to get smudge marks off my copies that werent on the original. They blamed it on the original, but i know that kind of finesse just comes from knowing your machines better. Still, the overall experience was great. I walk in here and instantly relax - the people are SO competent, SO fast, and SO friendly. Mirror image opposite of a mass chain copy store hellhole. Twice I've walked in while freaking out about a deadline and completely overwhelmed from dreadful experiences with self serve mass chain hellholes, thrown some papers on the counter, and walked out 10 minutes later, breathing again and toting beautiful stacks of bound and stapled papers. Sure the mass hellholes are ubiquitous, but the stress will suck days off your life and this place is AWESOME. read more

I walked in here with an old camera, a 35mm - that I could not remember how to use. i was not even sure if it worked anymore. Jay, the photo man at Remsen, helped me out BIG TIME. This guy was amazing. He not only showed me how to use my camera again, he lent me batteries and film to make sure it worked! He even took some pictures and developed them before I left for a big trip to ensure that my camera was working correctly. Jay has been so kind to me, I don't know what I would have done without his help. He was generous, patient, kind. It was so lovely. I took a trip to Europe and shot tons of rolls of film, and Jay developed them beautifully. He worked quickly, and kept in touch with me to let me know when I could pick them up. This place is extremely overpriced for the quality service and finished product. I dropped off a frame and wanted a few of my daughter's pictures to be added, all on one sheet of paper. They took over 2 weeks to finish the job, when I called they said they had forgotten. I was charged $50 for the job which was less than impressive. If you wanted to print some school papers or something that doesn't require too much digital work, go here, if not, stay far away. read more

Decently priced for 35mm Film scanning, but the quality of scans was terrible. The skin tones all turned out neon red and oversaturated in almost every one of my 7 rolls I had them scan. I am extremely disappointed considering this will take hours for me to color correct in photoshop. I have my BFA in photography and would scan my film myself if I had access to a scanner but I have never received such terrible quality scans from a 3rd party, it is not that hard to do simple color corrections for 35mm film. This is not quality work that deserves to be paid for. read more

I have been using Remsen Graphics for years and years. I have always found them to be fast, accommodating and on the ball. They were on Remsen Street until there was a flood which put their machines out of commission - and then they moved as close by as possible. If you are sending a fax, do it here. Their rates are lower than Kinkos and they give you a free cover page. I believe their copy rates are lower too. Try them - you'll like them. read more

This is a production shop - good, prompt service. But if you're looking for very fine, graphic/book binding work, I would not recommend it.
