My car was lit up like a Christmas tree. (Literally) I want to give a huge shoutout to Joe, he always has a great attitude and positivity when you walk in the door. I am not great with cars, nor do i understand the mechanics to them at all. Joe walked me through everything I needed done, and why it needed done. I appreciate him and his team working hard on my vehicle. My AC went out and in an all black car with black tint it can get pretty hot on these hot days. He fixed it right away. Day two of no contact from Corporate from my complaint directly to them about my service in 5/2024, in which a new rack and pinion was installed and that rack and pinion failed last week(18 months life) . Unless the store installed garbage it should still be under warranty. I refuse to go to the store, I do not trust the manager from my experience in 5/2024! read more

The Commercial Tire in Ammon, Idaho replaced the front brakes on my Ram Truck last year. The truck is used to haul a large and heavy fifth wheel RV. The brake pads on the right passenger side failed, most likely due to the heavy load of our fifth wheel. The warranty coverage was 2 years or 25,000 miles which ever comes first. We had driven 31,000 miles so it was no longer covered. I bought new pads and a rotor and had planned to do my own repairs. I called and talked to Joe, the owner of the store, and asked him if there was any chance that if I provided the parts they could cover the labor. He set up an appointment to look at the problem and after checking the truck, repaired the brakes without a labor charge. He and his staff are super friendly and helpful. I'm grateful for their service and can recommend them without hesitation to anyone that needs tires or auto repairs! read more

It started with me dropping off a set of tires and rims which needed new pressure senors, filled with air, and balanced. They took no information from me and didn't ask any questions. Just said they would be ready by 2. I showed up at 2 only to find they hadn't done anything. They asked what vehicle the tires were going on. I told them. They said they would have it done by 4. I came back at 4:30 to find my bill was over $450. I've had work like this done before and was expecting it to be about $200. Their excuse was that they had run out of sensors and had to buy some next door at a parts store. They didn't feel they needed to tell me this would more than double the price or that I could have waited a day or two until their supplies came in and could have had it done for the lesser price. They wouldn't negotiate, they wouldn't let me return the sensors, and they really just didn't care. I could pay or they would keep my tires. I'll never go back and I've done business there for years. read more

Got a flat, and had a bit of a vibration. I'm from out of state. I used ,yelp, to find help. Call Commercial Tire in the morning. Asked if they would have time for a flat repair, and check the balance. Cody, the one who answered the phone. Said bring it in, and will get it done, ASAP. After the paper work. He gave a good recondition of where to eat. When I returned, Cody had my work completed, but had other issues. First, the way the tires had been balanced. Static, not high-speed. Second, a grease stain on one wheel. Ask me to take a look at it. The balancing was a no brainer. Yes he did all four. The grease stain was coming from the dust cap. He pulled it off. We seen a dent at the lip, and the grease was coming from it. There is a parts house next door. I got a replacement cap, and I was on the road. Now I know being from out of town, he could have charged top dollar. NOPE! It was more then fair. No charge, for replacing the dust cap. And a very fair total for the balancing. Way to go Cody. Fantastic service, I will be a return customer and recommend to everyone! I went in for an oil change at a separate location on Monday and they found the CV boot was torn on the right front tire so on Thursday I took it to Commercial Tire to get my brakes checked and see how much CV boot would cost. They took my car in right away and actually guided me through all the issues with my vehicle, instead of just paperwork. I was planning on leaving town the next day and I am so greatful these guys have respect and concern for their customers safety because the ball joints were worn out to the point I could of been in a bad wreck on the highway. Now my vehicle sounds good and drives much better, I received exceptional service at Commercial Tire today! And they sent me with a printout of further repairs needed down the road so I have the knowledge of my vehicles condition. read more
