There's a reason I almost always use Discount Tire, they're the best. I've never had a bad experience with them or the tires I've purchased there. I got a new set of tires today and the customer service was amazing. Monica and the techs were friendly, and professional. The techs even asked if I wanted the black or white facing out. It seems like a small thing but I like the black facing out. I ordered the tires online, they were delivered quickly and the appointment even started a few minutes early. Thankfully they also started doing alignments so they were able to align it today and I didn't have to go to another shop. While visiting some family this summer, we got some tires replaced on a ol' jeep we were towing home. We scheduled our appointment online in advance and then called to work out a few tires questions, to make sure everything was compatible, as it was older and not listed online. Though they were helpful and did answer our questions, when we followed up regarding our appointment and paying for the tires, they could not find out appointment with our names, emails or confirmation number and were not super helpful on the phone. It was a tad odd, but we did eventually work it out. but by making a secondary appointment. I cancelled our mystery appointment (did confirm it was correct location) and we brought in the wheels only, as the car was not drivable. They did promptly get the tires squared away and while there we inquired on getting our bus tires topped off. Lo' and behold we had a complete flat on the backend (it's a dually) and they completely replaced it as it was under warranty. We definitely appreciated them getting it in last minute, especially since our bus is a unique and has to be raised. Overall, the experience on-site was good and we were out in a few hours. Service was super friendly through the process as well, just the phone interaction was a tad odd, but nothing we couldn't work out! read more

went in to get 2 new tires on my altima when i got there at 8:30 in the morning its was busy but. I expected that as i did not have an appointment. i picked my tires the guy said it would take one hour and thirty minutes. i paid and sat down as i didnt have a ride anywhere else at 10. I saw my car had not been moved so i asked how much longer. he said there was 1 car in front of mine.so i sat back down to wait. At 11:30 i checked my car was still not moved. so now im not happy i ask again they tell me there is still one car in from of me. so i ask for my keys back and to be refunded and i left never again for me read more

I had a tire that kept going flat. I thought I had a hole in it and I needed it replaced turns out it was just the valve stem that was corroded. They replaced it for me and filled up my tire free of charge. They easily could have said it was my tires and had me pay hundreds of dollars. I I have about six months left on these tires, but when they need replacing I will for sure come here. read more

We used to love Discount Tire but in the end there is no real discount in Discount tires and the service is always slow or problematic in some way. 1. They hide costs and sell non-brand name tires at high prices. Their tire warranties depend on buying an insurance policy for each tire they sell and often this is included with the tire warranty of popular brands you can buy at other tire dealers for less overall cost. 2. Your appointment is almost always guaranteed to be delayed a significant amount too. 3. The managers have been argumentative when it comes to honoring warranty. 4. They have destroyed our car tire sidewalls on their machines twice and then tried to say it was our fault. 5. They sold my wife tires that were too narrow and lower profile than previous tires resulting in rim damages. We rarely had an issue until these tires were installed and not to the extent we do now. We are having to replace the rims as a result. EI No name tires they sold her when I was not able to attend were 225/40 R18 versus 245/45 R18 which may not sound like much but it changes sidewall profile considerably. 6. They just nickel and dime you to death. There are hidden costs to every purchase. 7. Appointments are never on time. We moved on to Point S tires for multiple sets of higher quality tires. read more

Wish I could give them 10 stars. I was traveling through Idaho Falls when a tire started vibrating badly. I got online and was pleasantly suprised at how easy it was to make an appointment for the next morning. When I arrived, they evaluated my problem an installed a new tire in record time. They also some additional clean-up from a previous problem at no charge. Discount Tire has a new customer in Texas as a result of this oustanding location. read more

I've been using Discount Tire for quite a few years now. Have not had a bad visit at any one of them. I have received the same great service from coast to coast. I have had the privilege of needing service in Michigan and Texas and California to name few. My Ram 3500 has tires that they don't normally have in stock but they always go out of the way to try and get them as quickly as possible. We were traveling through town on a road trip and wound up with a flat tire. They quickly got us in, pulled the tire and accessed the ridiculously huge hole from a large nail. They weren't sure they could patch it but instead of just trying to up-sell us a whole new tire they patched it successfully and sent us on our way! Wonderful service, and nice guys! read more

I have made multiple appointments over the past few years and they are consistently behind by at least 60 minutes. I'm always for giving a business a second chance but most recently I was assured I would be in and out within an hour, fast forward 2 hours and I was just getting my truck pulled into the bay for a simple snow tire swap. I hate to rate them low but just very poorly ran business. The front desk is doing their best and are always nice but could really use someone who can manage a business and keep jobs running on time. read more

Waited 7 hours for tires last summer and today waited an hour for a simple rotate on tires purchased by them and couldn't justify wasting another day in line, and this is after a 25 minute wait. We like our Discount Tire in Pocatello, but this place made me disappointed. We were told a time our car would be done, so we came back around that time, and it wasn't finished, no big deal, so we sat in the waiting room. I was so disgusted by how filthy it was. The floor was super dirty with what looked like dried soda and dirt everywhere. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I also used the restroom which was disgusting. We also waited another hour after we got there for the car. After waiting awhile, we finally got up and asked how much longer, and the employee said "It's been done for about 15 mins." It was kind of frustrating. Maybe it was an off day for them, but it should definitely be maintained better. read more

I'm updating my review. This Discount Tire location is great. However, they go through Synchrony bank for the financing for tires. This was a horrible mistake. Synchrony charges late fees for a payment made the day of it being due. Calling in to their support line only gets you a robot. Discount Tire needs to go through a local bank. I will not be going back to discount tire as long as they are using a greedy bank. Use a local bank discount tire. read more

I had a terrible experience with discount tire. I bought the tires I wanted online for a good price. Unfortunately, getting the tires put on was not an easy process. When I called to confirm the apt I had made with them they said they couldn't find the appointment and would have to be worked. When I showed up to be worked in they found the original apt and said I needed to come back at that time because they were too busy. What I saved with the cost of the tires I more than lost by wasting my entire Saturday. read more

I came in to get my truck's tires rotated and balanced, and get my TPMS sensors programmed. As soon and I pulled in, two employees came out to greet me. They were quick to ask what I came for, and pulled my truck in within seconds. Shortly an employee came to tell me that for some reason my sensors weren't programming, and offered to sell me ones that would. I told him that I had ordered them online for $120 and wasn't sure if they were the right ones I needed. He told me that he could match that price (normally TPMS sensors are about $63 each). Not only did they match the price I paid for the wrong ones, they beat the price by $20! I just need to return the ones I bought previously. I will be coming here again for all of my vehicles just because of the customer service I was given. Every employee I talked to were prompt and courteous. They even told me to inspect my wheels afterwards to see if everything looked okay. Great company and great service! read more
