The problem was that my rental car was not blowing any air (AC) despite working earlier on my trip. The gentleman (think he was the owner) looked at/operated the controls and concluded that the blower motor was likely failing. He took the time out of his day to check this out for me for no charge. When I got the tire back, I noticed paint chipped off the rim, and there was something left inside the tire. They also charged $20, which would be reasonable if the work had been done cleanly--but it wasn't even balanced. Now I'll have to take it somewhere else to remove the debris inside the tire.
