When I got there, they didn't have the exact battery on hand, but they got one on the way to the shop immediately and let me take up space for the 30 minutes it took to arrive. I took my Honda into Affordable Auto in February because I was leery about taking it to Bud Clary. All of the lights on the dashboard would light up and the car would go into limp mode intermittently. I showed them the Autozone print out stating that the throttle body needed to be replaced. They claimed it wasn't the throttle body, it was some other parts connected to the throttle body. I trusted them to complete necessary repairs. The repairs costed $2,000. Not even a week later the issue returned. I took it to Autozone again and it stated again that the throttle body was bad. I had already spent $2k that I couldn't afford and they said it might be a bad steering rack. I took it to Bud Clary and they replaced the throttle body and I haven't had an issue since.

When we got to Moses lake we tried a couple different places to help us. We didn't have an experience with anyone else close to the one we had with them. From the second I walked in the door Aaron started taking care of us as if we were family. He first gave us suggestions to try on our own before throwing money at it. Once we came to the conclusion that we couldn't do it on our own we went back to them, they went above and beyond to help us. Gavin who did the majority of the work was amazing. He took his time making sure everything was right and explained to us what he was doing so we could fully understand the issue with the car. We were going home from Montana in our motorhome. We stopped in Moses Lake to get pizza when l…read morenoticed anti freeze leaking onto the ground. I spotted a large leak on the right rear side of the radiator. We had to stay overnight. The next morning l called Jenkins Family Auto Barn & drove our motorhome to have them take a look. They found an additional leak in the radiator. We had to put the motorhome in a storage facility down the street from them & get a rental car home. They spent a week trying to get a replacement radiator only to find out it had been discontinued. With the help of a radiator shop, an new one was built. They were very good about keeping me updated on the progress they were making & trust me, this was a monumental task they had on their hands. Our motorhome is 31 years old. After running our motorhome & test driving it, we picked it back up & drove it for 4 hours back home. It worked flawlessly. Great job Jenkins Family Auto Barn. The man behind the counter told me that they don't do appointments, it's first come first served. I said I didn't feel like leaving my car there for several days waiting for them to get to it. He responded, "That's not how we do business here." At that point, I said I would take my business elsewhere and walked out. I don't think it's unreasonable to ask a repair shop to work with you so that you don't have to leave your car there for more than a work day. The front desk person's inflexibility to even have that discussion was rude. I truly felt like they didn't want my business. I know the owner is a good man and I hope he can resolve the attitude problem with his front desk person.
