However, he needed…read morelonger screws to install a larger fan and was unsure if he could use the same box in accordance with the county building code. I called for an estimate and explained the situation. The man (perhaps the owner) was very nice. He said it was $95 an hour with a one-hour minimum, but since the job was pretty much complete, it could be less. He sent his guys over to my son's house. They started the job without a callback, for the estimate is the charge. They did not change out the box and only used longer screws. They were there for 40 minutes, mostly just chit-chatting with my son. They told him he did all the work already. I called the next day to pay over the phone, and the woman said it was $135 or $145. She said they claimed they were there for an hour and a half. That's an absolute lie. They also said they spent that time "showing the homeowner how to use the remote." Are they kidding? I paid the amount and now know never to use them again.

First of all, I don't understand the substandard rating displayed once this business is accessed…read morefrom the search option. I have been a Barnett customer for three years. Not once have I been disappointed with the service technicians or the excellent service they provide. These people are honest and, most importantly, customer oriented. It is easy to set appointments, AND they're timely. The techs are experienced, diligent, and polite. Barnett will always give you a call once the tech is headed your way. I'm very picky when it comes to dealing with service providers. Trust me. THIS IS the place to go. Barnett Electrical Heating and Air 1628 Kelham OKC, OK 73129 (405) 794-9800

I finally had enough money saved up to upgrade my wiring for the house. Oi! That's a lot of money!…read more The house had the original wiring from the 40's. Now it has top-of-the-line easy to upgrade wiring with room for exapnsion. This is good because I will need to call them back a couple of times. They came in, upgraded the breaker box, grounded the wiring, made space for future additions which we discussed. Sadly, I couldn't afford to get everything done all at once - nor could I get everything done all at once because I needed to have a carpenter in for part of it and the plumber, and then the electrician back again, so even if I had the money to get all the wiring work done at one time, it wasn't possible. But - they did a great job of installing the upgrade. They were fast, prompt, friendly, professional, hardworking, and now I have to scrimp and save for more work. I need some switches and outlets that don't work fixed, I need a number of new outlets installed (remember, original wiring from the 40's - a maximum of 2 outlets per room and I think 4 should be the minimum, so I need to double the outlets), install electric wall heaters, and an overhead heater in the bathroom, plus bathroom outlets for grooming items that are electrified, and ceiling fans. Barnett and I , we are going to working together for YEARS (because I save up slowly...). If you need wiring done, call Barnett. They are good.
