This has become one of our regular go to places for cappuccinos and lattes. Service is usually friendly. Owner is very nice. Wasn't crazy about the toast I had, but .... can't be perfect at everything. Slushies are delicious too. Great place to also hang out and chill with friends.

Great local cafe with all the basics and some bonuses, like being dog friendly! Service is friendly and patient with changes on mind. Come here for the cozy local chairs and tables with bookcase and generally enough quiet or space to be able to think! If you don't see something you're thinking of on the menu, check the cooler to see if there's something there too. Glad they have some Gluten-free pastry and vegan items too.

The staff, coffee, treats and overall vibe are all top notch. Five stars all around. One of my favorite places to grab a quick coffee, easy breakfast or just have a snack and read in their comfortable room. A big asset to our community and worth the trip is you're exploring the area from another neighborhood.

Stopped in for lunch with my daughter-in-law and had a great time. We found a table and tucked into a corner to catch up. I ordered a latte (fantastic) and a chicken salad sandwich. I had originally wanted tuna, but they were out and suggested the chicken salad and I was skeptical, but they were RIGHT ON! Servers are super friendly and there is even a small section in the back where local artists can sell their jewelry/body products.

Connected with my sister here a few times when we were both in New York. We grew up in Harlem and have been excited to explore some of the great places that have popped up over the years. The staff was great as was the coffee (I got an iced mocha and my sister had an iced latte). The shop had a laid back and chill vibe. I also had a sausage, egg and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich which was really good. This spot is a gem and I would highly recommend it.

We stopped by to pick up a coffee and check this spot out. Walking in you are greeted by the owner who is very nice. The cafe is clean and bright. They also have WiFi. Coffee is great. I had a pecan sticky bun. Wasn't the best but I wasn't the worst. We will be back.

Cafe is very cute and quiet to study! The music isn't loud at all, the baristas are super friendly, and there's a lot of space! If you're a student like me, then you'll appreciate the free wifi, outlets, and bathroom. Their loaded bagel was pretty good for a cafe and their lemonade is so tart and delicious! I will say, it is a bit on the pricier side, with the lemonade and bagel coming out to 16 dollars. Otherwise very nice cafe and I will be returning!

Great coffee, tea, good food! The avocado toast was the bomb. The owner makes everything so personalized. Down to the decor and pillowed seats! How thoughtful!

Love this spot. Been coming here for a good 4 years now or so since they opened. Owners and staff are friendly, down the street from the park and subway. They have some small goods for sale in the shop as well.

Super cute coffee shop. Owner is very nice. Lots of people just hanging out working enjoying their cup of coffee. Had the toasted and roasted seasonal drink, which tasted like a toasted marshmallow and an oat milk lavender latte, which was scrumptious. Highly recommend stopping by!!

I stopped by this place while visiting family, chasing their overnight oats. The oats were really good, and surprisingly affordable. The place was so cute I decided I'd eat my breakfast there. Well, I liked it so much I went home and brought my stuff to work remotely from Common Good. The next day I showed up again. Karina remembered me, quoted me my orders from the day before, and gave me a loyalty card. I felt comfortable in the shop, with funky r&b mixed with oldies and others. The cook behind the counter - whose name I didn't get - was also friendly but not intrusive, which I appreciated. Made it back today for day 3. Was sad not to see my dear friend Karina (we're besties now, basically), but my cook friend was there, along with two other staff members. I had my overnight oats for a third consecutive day, and tried the pumpkin spice latte, as well as the grilled cheese panini (add turkey), and a green tea lemonade. This place is fantastic. Sad to be leaving my hometown, especially after finding a new favorite place. Here's to convincing my husband we need to move back!

Great coffee and snacks! Discovered this café recently as we have friends who live around the corner from them. Cute space. Though during the pandemic they pivoted to a bookshop/market of sorts. If you live in the neighborhood, do support them!

While waiting, I sipped on a Cinnamon Maple Latte, which was bold and strong, as well as heavy on the cinnamon, but could have used more maple and sweetness. My friend and I shared the Bread and Cornbread Basket, served warm with raspberry preserve jam and butter. The Bread was perfectly baked, fluffy, and well seasoned. Cornbread was glazed, giving it a slightly sweet taste, as well as crumbly in a good way. The butter made the breads richer, while the raspberry jam added a nice layer of flavor. For my meal, I ordered the Steak and Eggs, adding Truffle Fries, which were an additional $5. This also came with a small side salad topped with radishes. The Steak was tender, wonderfully juicy, and flavorful. Eggs were cooked over hard, just how I like them and made expertly. Truffle fries had a generous sprinkling of Parmesan and were delightfully crispy, with strong truffle yumminess. Salad gave a fresh element to the dish. Service was lovely. Our waitress was friendly and everything came out in a timely manner. Prices were decent. I would consider returning for dinner to try the Short Rib or Brisket Mac & Cheese.

It's a comfortable little place with a nice vibe. Our waiter, Daniel, was great. He introduced himself and told us about specials. He took our drink orders and promptly came back with same. We asked about some appetizers and he gave us great advice. We ordered the fried chicken app (yummy, fresh chunks of fried chicken with a nice dipping sauce.) we also had the eggplant croquettes, those were quite tasty. The dates wrapped in bacon were also yummy. We ordered more food for dinner. He took a couple more drink orders, all good. After a bit he told us the food would be out in about 10 minutes, and it did! We had a three cheese pizza which was great. One of our party had the cauliflower salad and said it was very good. The French fries were also hot and tasty. The lentil soup was reported as being just ok. The beef bourguignon looked great. Unfortunately, the beef was dry. It had great potential but missed the target. Same for the roasted half chicken, it looked great, the sauce was great, but the chicken was overdone and dry. The bread pudding was so so. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM was that Daniel left after the dinner came. Eventually a young lady came around to our table. She never introduced herself, but the ticket said Nyla. She literally never would clear the table. I cleared several big plates and put them on an empty table next to us. Those empty plates were there when we left. The plates with pizza crust and the finished bowl of lentil soup were also still there. She never brought the bill. I had to flag her down to get it. Then I had to get up to go pay. Lo and behold, there was an automatic 20% tip. Now it became clear why she didn't bother taking care of her table. The food is so so and the service was horrific. I won't go back.

Yes, a kale salad and a guava waffle. Stay with me. The salad is fresh, savory, and hearty, especially with the grilled chicken. Then comes the waffle--warm, slightly sweet, and topped with guava rum butter that melts into every little pocket. Oh my goodness. Taking a bite of the savory chicken and kale, followed by that soft guava waffle, gives me the perfect sweet-and-savory meal. It should not work as beautifully as it does, but it absolutely does. And the brown sugar latte? Always. It's smooth, comforting, and sweet without tasting like someone poured syrup into a cup and called it coffee. The space has the easy, unhurried feeling of a neighborhood coffee shop, but the menu is giving a real brunch experience. It's cozy and beautifully lit during the day--the kind of place where you can settle in and enjoy yourself without feeling rushed. The service matches that energy. Everyone is attentive, kind, and genuinely knows the menu. They always greet you with a smile and give you exactly the right amount of small talk: enough to make you feel welcomed, never so much that it interrupts your peace.
