I cannot the believe the level of unprofessionalism I experienced here. I left my last office visit sobbing. I had my last deep cleaning done with Cynthia in March and in the process she (whether accidently or unknowingly, I'm not sure) , she took out a filling that ive had since childhood. I noticed a hole in my tooth the next day. Even though I had a cavity on that tooth I never experienced tooth pain there or anywhere. It took me over a month to call and discuss it because I do not like confrontation and wanted to trust they didn't mess up. They were courteous enough when I called about it and spoke to the supervisor and I scheduled an appt to get the filling replaced. When I went though, Dr. Miller got into a huge argument with me and was completely unprofessional. He told me it was my fault because I hadn't complained right away and hadn't been to the dentist in a long time so I was "neglecting myself" and that the filling could've came out either way. I told him I know my teeth and can tell the difference between a hole or not and he said "well if you know your teeth then why do you come to the dentist". It was unbelievable the way he spoke to me, all while I was laying in the chair and he was in my face. He told me I need to be more assertive in life and that I was just blaming her even though I told him it was most likely a mistake and I do not wish for her to face any consequences. He said " should I call her a liar?" I said no and that I'm just relating the sequence of events and that it's possible she made a mistake. He also said a lot more horrible and unprofessional things to me but I will just leave it at that. He finally looked at my tooth and I could tell he was surprised to see my filling gone and put in a temporary one and I have to come back and get a new one in a week. I'm just so upset by the situation and he just confirmed my fears of going to the dentist. He said I needed to complain but then when I did he argued with me. Please be wary of going here. dentists aren't supposed to make you feel bad about not going in a long time and should'nt argue with you when you have an issue. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Miller for several years now and their new location is great! The office is clean and well-maintained. When they book your appointments they are specifically for you, so you're never waiting around and wasting your time. Dr. Miller still does the cleanings himself which is amazing because he spends more individualized time with you. Unlike other dentist offices, Dr. Miller will never try to "upsell" you with screenings and services that you don't need. He and his staff are honest and very professional. I don't work in the UTSA area anymore but I would still make the drive to come see Dr. Miller because I always have a positive experience. Okay, so who leaves a dentist appointment and thinks, "I'd give that 5 stars!" Well, apparently me and all of the other yelpers who have found NorthEnd Dental! After a terrible experience down the street, I was waiting until I could reschedule for another 6 month appointment with a new dentist. This time I wanted to make sure I did it right, so I consulted Yelp. I was not disappointed. Although I waited around 15 minutes or so for my appointment, I was out within an hour, so I call that good. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and the dental assistant was as well. They have a handy computer check in procedure for new patients, which was nice since I was able to complete it much quicker than filling in new client paperwork by hand. Dr. Miller actually did the cleaning himself, and he was super friendly, talkative, and informative. I had a few questions about my teeth and my previous dentist's recommendations, and he was able to calm my fears about the whys and whats behind what he recommended. He referred me to someone who does implants, but didn't pressure me into anything and did not try to get me to buy anything unnecessary. He offered multiple options for me as well. I have been a patient of Dr. Miller for about a year now (found thru ZocDoc!) and I have been beyond satisfied with every single appointment I've had. Upon arriving, Nicole (office manager) greeted me and assisted me with the electronic check-in process. She also went above and beyond in verifying my dental benefits to ensure the coverage I was offered at work. As a medical professional, I had no idea of how different medical and dental insurance policies work. Nicole took the time to explain the services covered under my plan. The pricing, without insurance, was what first attracted me to have my dental procedures done here. I got four cavities filled and one crowning and even with insurance I believe I saved some money. It has been over 6 months that I had the work done. The work done, knock on wood, has yet to fail me. The Dentist is honest, kind, and puts effort into his care but he will tell you the truth, its on your diet that will decide the outcome of your teeth. The building is beautiful and clean, the front receptionist is outgoing and knowledgeable, and the dentist assistant is serious when it comes to care and a joy to be around. Best dentist office in San Antonio, located on De Zavala. They pick up your phone calls, get back to you with information regarding your insurance and estimate costs or other questions quickly and via email. Also, I have never waited more than a minute or two for my name to be called in and to get started on. I also consulted with the doctor about a cosmetic procedure I was interested in and he wrote back a detailed email advising why I shouldn't go through with it putting in his knowledge and care. I appreciated that they listen there and they don't push you for procedures even if they suggest them. Never in my 23 years of life have I had a good/ pleasant experience at the dentist until coming to BLVD Dental. I've always thought long wait times, discomfort, and randomly getting charged for things I didn't ask for was how all dentists were... Well, not here. Dr. Miller and all of the staff members are so nice and friendly. They get you in and out! I've never waited to get called back. In fact, they usually call me back early. They treat you like a human and have genuine conversation with you, instead of trying to perform unnecessary procedures on you to charge you extra. They recently moved to a new location also. Very modern! There are tvs in the ceilings and headphones, so you can watch whatever you'd like while you get your teeth cleaned. I never thought I would write a review for a dentist, but honestly, I am just so pleasantly surprised at how awesome/ easy/ fast/ friendly my experiences here have been. I was really satisfied with my visit to see Dr. Miller. I've been on the hunt for a new dentist since January and hadn't found anyone good, until my coworker recommended Dr. Miller. The office is very cute and quaint. When I walked in the receptionist was ready for me already knowing who I was and that I was a new patient. The technician was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Personally i'm very talkative so I loved that she was also chatty asking about my day and actually finding some common ground when i brought up the restaurant I just ate at (she likes it too). Dr. Miller seemed very knowledgeable and listened to all of my dental concerns. He made some very good suggestions to help solve my tooth sensitivity to cold drinks and food. I liked that he didn't push to buy a more expensive tooth brush, he said as long as it was sonic then the brand didn't matter. Dr. Miller did all the cleaning, which I liked because it made me feel like he was being more hands on, which you always want from a doctor. When i went on the website I noticed that Dr. Miller accepts many different insurances, so most likely you'll be able to see him. I was very pleases he accepted mine, since I liked him so much. I live like 10-15 mins from his office and I thought it was very easy to find I barely used my gps. This dentist did a teeth cleaning that was not thorough , I don't think there was a hygienist on duty . It took 5 min. Then I was offered a :valentines day" special on whitening, first one cost $150 and said second was free. The second was very short and the results sucked. Very bad bedside manner. I don't know how anyone else id writing these good reviews, must be from family and friends. I don't recommend this dentist to anyone. My sister is dental technician with her own business for over 30 years and she said there are bad ones out there.
