They also never asked me what the issue was that I was having and assumed very incorrectly about prior damage that had occurred more than a year prior. My computers worked perfectly after those spills because I was able to do a cleaning of them all those months ago. Their forced cleaning of my computers didn't resolve my issue at all because my actual issue was electrical issues we had been having in our home, and if they had asked me what problem I was having with them in the first place they would have known this and could have earned their money legitimately instead of scamming me for it. I ended up having to pay them $150 just to get my computers back with the same exact problem. The issue wasn't with them at all but was with the monitors. If they had spoken with me we could have figured this out before this unneeded cleaning service was forced upon me to pay for. I signed up for a free diagnostic and then he called to tell me I owe $69.99 per computer. What a scam! The front desk gentleman is very nice, but the actual repairman is a scammer. They also won't refund me the money! So now I have to buy new monitors which is more than $150 on top of the forced cleaning fees! Unbelievable! This is shady business and they shouldn't be allowed to keep scamming people. At first I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought this was only a misunderstanding, I reached out very kindly to explain all of this and ask for my money back. I use my computer for my business and investing, so I need it. On Monday I tried to upgrade my graphics card so I can use two monitors at the same time. I removed the old graphics card wrong, and broke the motherboard. Because I live in Florence, I took my desktop there and explained my problem. They took a look and decided to take it to the other store immediately. I got a call from the other store Tuesday morning. I need a new motherboard, and he can get it. He gave me a detailed quote and asked me about shipping. Standard shipping would take a week, but expedited shipping would get it here Thursday or Friday, and was $40. I gave him my credit card number over the phone and he ordered the motherboard. That was yesterday. Today he called me at 11 am. The motherboard had been delivered by courier, he had put it in, put in the new graphics card, loaded the driver, and checked everything out. I could pick it up! I got a seven month warranty on the motherboard. I also made a permanent go-to computer repair expert for life. These guys are genuine. They are honest, their cost is great, and they're downright cheerful and patient. Aside from the quick delivery, they demonstrated something rare today - dedication to their customer. The stores are small, so their overhead is low. But don't be fooled. These guys are professionals.
