If you have a repair need, they'll evaluate it for free first and not do anything until you authorize the repair estimate. They are very nice and knowledgeable. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I've had to take a laptop back in for battery replacement shortly after buying it there. But they replaced no problem for free, no questions asked. Yep. My computer was running very slow. I took it to quick fix. They ran a diagnostic and gave me a very clear description of the problem and the cost to repair it. I had a really nasty bug on my computer that just would not go away. The employees worked really hard to remove the item and were very speedy in the repair. My laptop is good as new. While they did not have the proper part in-stock to fix a broken laptop screen, they ordered it quickly and got it installed in a little less than a week, more than 4-7 days sooner than other estimates by competing companies and almost $50-100 cheaper than most others as well. Personal-IT. I dropped my laptop onto its head and ruined my hard drive. Took it to "Laptop Fix" aka "Your Quick Fix" and had a definitive answer within two hours. I decided to purchase a used laptop they offered at a very reasonable price and have also asked that they replace my hard drive with a working SSD, again at a very fair price. The staff does not work for commission so there was no hassle with getting the cheap model I wanted. They are very knowledgeable and will help to point you in the right direction if you tell them what you need. I will be coming back to this store if I have more tech problems. read more

This store does not honor its promises. They promised to hold an item for 24hrs and then sold it in less than 12. My particular item was sold because of who I am. An African American male, who they made an assessment, not rightly so, that I wasn't going to buy it. They held others for many more days than mine, and the white customers didn't buy. Great DEAL!!! I came in here before to get my Dell laptop I call it ( Old Faithful ) anyway, they did a Reinstall for $20.00. Awesome price the first time. So I was so happy for the great price. Took my laptop to this place to have it fixed. I took it to them in multiple pieces keyboard disconnected ribbon cables clips broken etcetera etcetera. Dropped it off on Wednesday at noon they finally called me back on Monday at 1 o'clock in the afternoon. I went to pick it up they got it all back together and cleaned it out of all the dust. The keyboard clip was unrepairable but they manage to get back together no warranty on that part. But the bill was only $20! They get four stars simply because it took them four days to do the little bit of work they did to it. The price is great and they are very friendly. read more

I took my laptop apart during a medical incident and took it to this store to reassemble it. I returned a month later to find my laptop had been put back together but no one had called me and it didn't work. I asked them please to fix it as they might just be a laptop repair store. Another month passed and no call. I went back for my laptop and found that they had done nothing but was told it was the motherboard and it wasn't worth the cost of repairs. I found a friend who said he would fix it for free and was going to send it to him but decided to try to repair it myself. I took it apart and put it back correctly and am typing on it now. When I called demanding my money back, I was told that it would be refunded and asked to not return to their store again. Really? As if I would! read more

I had my laptop worked on at this shop last week. I took it in on Thursday and they told me it would be ready Monday. Monday came and I called, turned out they fried my mother board in the process of fixing my jack and had to order a new one. Now they did replace it free of charge but it wasn't done until Thursday, When I got it back they didn't have the driver for the sound card installed right and I had to fix that myself. I am a college student so now I am trying to cram a weeks worth of work in 3 days. I will NOT be taking anything back to them. read more

I agree with John For 100.00 an hour you can get a very nice used OR NEW laptop, depending on your need. WAKE UP guys....this is ridulous price to repair a computer and youre not even a high end shop. NO GO! Put your bet on 777 instead, I used them 3 times now, they give you a 3 month "used" warranty or extended for an additional reasonable rate. Dropped off my computer for a simple OS restore, they sat on it for 3 days, didnt do a thing,and then when I decided i was done waiting and went to pick it up, still before they did anything to it, they charged me $20! Yes they have a decent selection of parts at a reasonable price, but for for service, Geeksquad is much quicker, and wont charge you 20$ and 3 days of your time to do nothing with it. read more

I've been here before and, although the service is good, they are extremely slow. On an earlier visit they took near a month to replace a keyboard Also, they are definitely stronger at hardware than software. However, on my last visit, not only did it take 5 days to get a quote, they returned my computer to me, with a key missing. We all agreed that, had a key been missing when I dropped it off, they would have made a note. But since they did not see the key lying around the shop, they wouldn't fix the problem. I mean seriously, they pretty much said they lost it and there was no solution. So you can go there and most likely it will work out, but if it doesn't, be prepared to shoulder the consequences on your own. read more
