The staff at the front desk was very polite and greeted us promptly. My wife had to answer a one page question sheet, nothing too painful. We are early people so we had a bit of a wait but nothing excessive. During the process the Ultrasound tech was very polite. Unfortunately, our little man was not cooperative the first time to try to get a good picture. They allowed us to come back in a week, at no charge to us, to make a second attempt at getting a good photo. The second time we came back, we had the same good service. Our little man was marginally more cooperative but it wasn't the staffs fault. I would recommend this place if you are looking for that 4D image of your unborn child.

The…read moreradiologist came into the room and told me after the ultrasound that I would need to come back for a needle aspiration, possible biopsy, and that I would have lifting restrictions for the remainder of the day with that procedure. When I came back for the needle aspiration, the staff were casually talking about the weather getting warm and taking their dogs for a walk while I'm lying there wondering if my life will go back to normal or if it will be upside down from a resulting cancer diagnosis. After the needle aspiration I had asked for the restriction paperwork. I was informed that they couldn't find any type of paperwork to support what the physician told me. I said I'd call back if I needed it. When I returned to work I was asked by my manager to provide it. I called back to request it. The woman on the phone seemed bothered and irritated by me and insisted that since no biopsy was done that there were no restrictions. I had made previous arrangements regarding my work day based on what the physician told me at the previous visit. If a physician instructs a pt to limitations, then it is the imaging center's responsibility to provide that paperwork. If not, that is bad patient care. It felt like since there was no concern for cancer that they didn't want to be bothered with me any longer.

But because everyone that I have had contact with, has handled me and my situation with so much compassion. Some even going above and beyond to make sure I received proper care. 2 years ago, I developed Cat Scratch Disease after being bit, trapping a feral cat. My family doctor dismissed me, an ER doctor misdiagnosed me, and a surgeon decided maybe it could be cancer. I was sent to the breast center for a mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy. After the biopsy showed whatever was going on with me wasn't cancer, the surgeon also dismissed me and said I should just be thankful it wasn't cancer. No one would even test me for Cat Scratch Disease and made me to feel like they thought I was just being a hypochondriac. A nurse from St Vincent Breast Center called me a few days after the biopsy to check on me, and I broke down crying and told her about how horribly ill I was and how dismissed I felt by all the doctors who had "treated" me. She promised to do everything she could to help me be heard and my medical issues addressed. This nurse personally took it upon herself to go and ask a pathologist to look at my biopsy results. The pathologist said my results looked like Cat Scratch Disease to them and I was quickly sent to a Disease Specialist. Because the illness was allowed to hang out in my lymphatic system for so long, I eventually had to have a lymph node removed, a year later. Now, another year later, I'm having pain in the same area again. So my new primary care doctor ordered a mammogram. When I called St Vincent Breast Center to schedule my mammogram, the woman helping me quickly noticed that my order had been written incorrectly. My new primary care physician had just ordered a general routine mammogram. She insisted with the complications that I was having and given my history, I needed a 3D mammogram and an ultrasound of my underarm. I am so thankful that she did this, because it was during the ultrasound that they discovered one extremely large lymph node that needs to be biopsied. My doctors office said that St Vincent Breast Center contacted them immediately with a request for a new order. Every time that I've been to the St Vincent Breast Center, I am always impressed with how every single person you encounter is very polite and compassionate. Not just the techs and the doctors, but also the women who help walk you from one place to the next and stay with you until the doctor comes in to talk to you. The women who check you in, deal with your insurance, make your appointments...stellar. What a relief to know that Indy has St Vincent Breast Center.

i experienced nothing short of a miracle after choosing Dr Zollman to do my mommy makeover at age…read more56. after nearly a 100 lb weight loss my body was less than ascetically pleasing. it was very important to me to have all the procedures done at the same time cause i'm a big ol baby. my thoughts were one surgery one recovery. my results are nothing less than spectacular. when my mom saw me for the first time i thought she was gonna cry. her words were "I've never seen you look like this" meaning normal...actually i think I've achieved bombshell, if there is such a thing at my age lol....i had an extended tummy tuck where not only my lower apron was removed but my upper abdominal muscle was repaired, my mons was lifted and my umbilical stump shortened and the cutest new belly button created....breast lift, reduction and saline implants that the dr chose just for me, and high volume liposuction through my flanks, outer thighs and upper abdomen. i have worked very closely with Amy who has held my hand (literally) starting in the recovery room at the hospital...yes...hospital....so many of these surgeries are done in a "surgery center" which to me is a fancy word for back room. Dr also required an overnight stay which provided me and my family with piece of mind that i wasn't gonna be shuffled out the back door. Through the whole experience the main concern from Dr and Amy has been my health and well being. I did blood work for the sneak peak here and my 2 day results didn't get to me for 5 days (which isn't their fault) but when I tried to call and get info on if castleton ultrasound sent my test over or if something happened I couldn't get ahold of anyone. I left voicemails and emails and never heard from anyone, that was 5 months ago.

The baby wasn't cooperating and kept covering their face, so she worked the whole time to get us a good view and she finally did! We were appreciative that she didn't give up. The setting was very comfortable- nice bed for mom-to-be to lie on and a large leather sectional couch with a projector view on the wall for the guests. The lights were dimmed and very welcoming. We received several photos (including a few for the grandparents, which was a nice surprise!). And we got to see baby's face, legs, hands and feet. We also heard the heartbeat and could see the gender. Booking online was easy and convenient. They have several options based on your trimester. You pay a portion of the fee up front to hold your spot and then you get a reminder text/email before your appointment. We paid the balance at the end of our visit. It was all very smooth. We'll be booking another appointment in the next trimester so the other grandma can have a viewing as well, and so we can see the baby with a little more fat :) we were told we get a discount on the second appointment so that's exciting too. Can't wait for a return visit! (We didn't take any photos on our first visit because we were too excited. I'll add some after our second appointment.)

Mind you I took my son in there to get his removed a month ago by a different Dr. same issue same urgant care... but for some reason this "Dr" that came in couldn't treat my 9 daughter and made her feel like crap. she's in pain and we are now going to another urgant care for help. Do NOT GO HERE IF YOURE BLACK!
