Walked away with a cast iron corn cob mold & a vintage yellow Pyrex. Next visit... baskets. I was floored at the quality of everything. My two items came out to $25! I always walk away with something when I thrift here and this time around I found a lot of small goodies: stuff for my mom for Mother's Day, my anniversary, and things for myself~ It was a great thrift day! I asked everyday about a contract, payroll, etc . I was paid cash, no taxes and no overtime pay. Hours were 10-6pm. After my shift on Wednesday, Lisa, part owner, called myself and my mom at 6am insisting I come in. I refused. She then asked my mom to volunteer to work. My mom isn't an employee. I went at 10am and she was visibly upset and refused to give me a task. The following Friday I was accused of stealing from the register with zero proof. They refused to show me the proof, called the police and didn't allow me to receive my property. No official paperwork was filed to show me as an employee. Everybody is paid under the tablet
